Description

The present invention relates to furniture, especially for kitchens.

There are furniture in which one or more storage compartments are integrated in a furniture carcass to store items. Such furniture can be designed both as a piece of furniture or as wall cabinets, with wall cabinets are poorly accessible in the upper storage compartments. The volume of poorly accessible areas is usually used insufficiently in such furniture.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a piece of furniture in which even the poorly accessible areas can be used in a simple manner and which can be used flexibly.

This object is achieved with a piece of furniture with the features of claim 1.

According to the invention the furniture comprises a furniture body with two opposite side walls, in each of which at least one guide profile is integrated, which has an open groove to the interior of the furniture body, wherein in each groove a carriage is guided, and the carriages store a storage element within the furniture body movable. This can be a storage element with items be moved within the furniture body, for example, to be moved from a poorly accessible area in a more accessible area. This storage element can record, for example, a household appliance such as a microwave, so this home appliance can be moved if necessary to a comfortable working height for each user. An unused household appliance can thus be moved into a rest position, in a usually not meaningfully used room in a kitchen. The storage element can be moved in horizontal, vertical or another direction. Preferably, horizontal and vertical profiles are interconnected in each side wall. Of course, the cavities in the truss structure can also be filled with foam, wherein the cover layers and the end edges can then be formed by the foam. The foam can also serve to insulate the interior of the carcass. Thus, the stored goods can be protected from unsuitable temperatures. In the cavity of the truss structure and heat exchange devices may be integrated to increase the temperature inside the body or lower.

According to the invention, the guide profiles are arranged vertically and the storage element is vertically movable. Such a construction is particularly suitable for wall cabinets in kitchens, so that the upper areas can be used in a wall cabinet for the storage of objects. It is also possible to move the storage elements both vertically and horizontally or obliquely thereto to optimally use the storage space in the furniture body.

For a smooth operation of the storage element, a lifting mechanism may be provided by means of which the storage element is movable over the lifting mechanism and several storage elements can be moved simultaneously along the guide profiles. Preferably, a cable is provided for this purpose on the guide profiles, by means of which the storage elements are moved. For an automatic movement of the storage elements and a drive may be provided to control the movement of the storage elements.

According to a further embodiment, a plurality of parallel guide profiles are provided in each side wall. This can be achieved in a vertical movement of a storage element by a downwardly movable counterweight and / or a spring element that only low lifting forces must be expended in a movement of the storage element.

A piece of furniture comprises a furniture body 1, in particular for kitchens, which in each case comprises a side wall 2 on opposite sides. In each side wall 2, a guide profile 3 is integrated, which is vertically aligned and has an open groove 4 on the inwardly facing side. In each guide section 3, a carriage 5 is slidably mounted with rollers or sliding elements. The two carriages 5 hold a plate-shaped storage element 6, which is vertically movable.

To move the storage element 6, a cable 7 is provided on each side, which is guided in the guide profile 3. The cable 7 is then guided over one or more deflection rollers 8 to a winding station 9. 1.
