Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen energieeffizienten Ventilator zum Einsatz insbesondere in der Klima- und Kältetechnik, bestehend aus einem Gehäuse (1), einem Flügelrad (2), einem Antriebsmotor (5) sowie einem Schutzgitter (3). Das Gehäuse (1) ist einteilig aus Kunststoff ausgebildet und besteht hauptsächlich aus einer in Strömungsrichtung sich verengenden Einlaufdüse (1.1), einer zylinderförmigen Strömungsführung (1.2), einer diffusorartigen Erweiterung (1.5), Nachleitflügeln (1.3), an deren nabenseitigem Ende ein Motorträger (1.4) angebracht ist, einer Vorrichtung, die zum Befestigen des Schutzgitters (3) dient, sowie einer Vorrichtung, die zur Befestigung des Gehäuses (1) an einem dafür vorgesehenen Gerät oder Gebäude dient. Das Flügelrad (2) ist um eine zentrale Achse drehbar gelagert und besteht aus einer zentralen Nabe mit daran befestigten Flügeln, welche im Bereich ihrer radialen Außenkante mit Strömungselementen (Winglets) versehen sind. Bei dem Antriebsmotor (5) handelt es sich um einen Außenläufermotor, der entweder als Drehstrom-Asynchronmotor (AC-Motor) oder als elektronisch kommutierter Gleichstrommotor (EC-Motor) ausgeführt ist.
