Interface homme/machine pour véhicule automobile
Domaine technique de l'invention
La présente invention concerne une interface homme/machine pour un véhicule automobile. II est connu de munir les véhicules automobiles, dans une zone centrale de leur planche de bord, d'interfaces homme-machine permettant de commander des équipements, tels qu'une climatisation et/ou un poste radio, ou de prendre connaissance d'informations affichées sur un écran multifonctions relatives à, par exemple, un lecteur multimédia ou une assistance de positionnement satellite.
En référence à la figure 1 sont représentées une première interface 10 d'un tableau de commandes et une seconde interface 20 d'un écran multifonctions d'une même planche de bord 1 connues. Plus précisément :
- l'interface 10 comprend des boutons 11 et 12 ainsi qu'une molette 13 permettant à l'utilisateur du véhicule de transmettre des commandes à une carte électronique 15 via des interfaces mécaniques 14.
Cette carte électronique 15 comprend un processeur 16, dénommé contrôleur 16 par la suite, qui gère le fonctionnement de l'interface 10, c'est- à-dire l'ensemble des opérations nécessaires au maintien en activité de cette interface 10, notamment ses connexions avec l'équipement situé à l'extérieur de l'interface via un connecteur 17 permettant, par exemple, la transmission de signaux via un réseau multiplexe du véhicule du type CAN ou LIN.
Cette interface 10 présente une surface 18 de recouvrement, ou plas- tron, visant à isoler l'intérieur de l'interface de l'habitacle pour des raisons esthétiques et techniques - protection des poussières et éventuelles projections.
Finalement, un capot 19 permet d'intégrer l'ensemble des éléments de l'interface en un seul bloc pouvant être intégré dans la planche de bord par simple insertion puis fixation au moyen de pattes 2.
- l'interface 20 de l'écran multifonctions comprend un écran 21 à commande tactile, tel qu'une fonction affichée puisse être activée/désactivée par contact d'une zone de l'écran dédiée à cette fonction.
Cet écran tactile 21 est relié à une carte électronique 25 via un transmetteur 22 de signaux relié, d'une part, à l'écran 21 et, d'autre part, à un composant utilisant les informations fournies par le capteur de l'écran tactile 21 pour générer des signaux de commande.
La carte électronique comprend également un contrôleur 26 qui gère le fonctionnement de l'interface multimédia, c'est-à-dire l'ensemble des opé- rations nécessaires au maintien en activité de cette interface 20, notamment ses connexions avec l'extérieur de l'interface permettant la transmission de signaux via un connecteur 27 transmis par le réseau multiplexe du véhicule. A titre d'exemple, un tel connecteur permet ainsi de transmettre les signaux relatifs à l'activation/désactivation de l'écran, au diagnostic de l'interface, à son niveau d'éclairage, ou aux commandes requises tactile- ment.
Les signaux vidéo affichés par l'écran 21 sont transmis via un connecteur 27' dédié transmettant ces signaux vidéo selon le protocole propre au codage vidéo. Des composants vidéo de la carte 25 effectuent un traitement de ces signaux, par exemple la décompression et/ou le décodage des signaux vidéo, avec une fréquence élevée, de l'ordre de plusieurs MHz, conformément aux protocoles connus de traitement d'image. De ce fait, l'interface multimédia 10 requiert un blindage 23, pour isoler magnétiquement ces composants vidéo de la carte 25 des autres équipements du véhicule. Egalement, des supports 24 en métal - typiquement de l'aluminium - sont prévus pour permettre un dégagement thermique satisfaisant de l'énergie rayonnée par la carte et par l'écran.
De plus, il convient de noter que cette interface multimédia présente une surface 28 de recouvrement, ou plastron, visant à isoler l'intérieur de l'interface de l'habitacle pour des raisons esthétiques et techniques - protection des poussières et éventuelles projections.
Finalement, un capot 29 permet d'intégrer l'ensemble des éléments de l'interface en un seul bloc dans la planche de bord par simple insertion puis fixation au moyen de pattes 2.
La présente invention comprend la constatation qu'une telle pluralité d'interfaces présente de nombreux inconvénients. Par exemple, elle requiert des opérations industrielles de conception, test, réalisation et agencement propres à chacune de ces interfaces.
En outre, cette pluralité d'équipement requiert un volume significatif tandis que, l'interface vidéo dispose d'un espace limité pour le refroidisse- ment de sa carte vidéo et pour l'intégration des éléments de blindage électromagnétique.
De plus, les bordures et les jonctions entre les interfaces et le tableau de bord sont sources de vibrations et elles génèrent une impression de qualité insatisfaisante accrue lorsque les interfaces sont issues de différents fa- bricants et ne permettent pas une esthétique globale.
La présente invention vise à résoudre au moins un des inconvénients précédemment mentionnés. C'est pourquoi, elle concerne une interface homme/machine comprenant un tableau de commande, muni d'au moins une commande et/ou d'au moins un indicateur, ainsi que d'un contrôleur gé- rant le fonctionnement du tableau de commande et ses communications, via au moins un connecteur associé, avec un réseau multiplexe du véhicule, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend également un écran multifonctions relié au contrôleur du tableau de commande de telle sorte que ce contrôleur puisse également gérer le fonctionnement de l'écran multifonctions et ses communications, via le connecteur associé, avec le réseau multiplexe du véhicule.
Une telle interface présente de nombreux avantages : elle permet d'assembler, dans un même bloc, un écran multifonctions et un tableau de commande, ce qui facilite et simplifie le montage de ces derniers en une seule opération. La qualité du montage, dans sa réalisation en usine et dans sa perception par l'utilisateur du véhicule, est ainsi accrue.
En outre, l'interface présente une surface de protection plus homogène et, de façon corollaire, présentant un nombre moindre de jonctions
avec le tableau de bord. De ce fait, une telle interface est plus résistante à des agressions extérieures - poussières, éclaboussures - tout en offrant une esthétique homogène sur son ensemble.
Il convient de noter que le fonctionnement géré par le contrôleur con- cerne des opérations nécessaires au maintien en activité de l'interface 10, comme l'alimentation, et non le contrôle d'équipements situés en dehors de l'interface.
Dans une réalisation, le contrôleur comprend des moyens pour traiter des signaux transmis par le connecteur associé à une fréquence significati- vement inférieure à la fréquence de signaux vidéo reçus par l'écran multifonctions via un connecteur vidéo.
Typiquement, le contrôleur traite des signaux multiplexes d'un réseau interne, du type CAN pour « Controller Area Network », ou du type LIN pour
« Local Interconnect Network », avec une fréquence de l'ordre des dizaines de KHz, tandis que les signaux vidéo sont traités avec une fréquence de l'ordre de plusieurs MHz.
Selon une réalisation, l'écran est muni d'une surface tactile reliée au contrôleur.
Dans une réalisation, l'écran est associé à un blindage visant à limiter le rayonnement électromagnétique émis par l'écran et/ou par des composants vidéo dédiés au traitement du signal vidéo.
Selon une réalisation, les composants vidéo dédiés au traitement du signal vidéo sont reliés à un réseau de transmission de signaux vidéo via un connecteur vidéo. Dans une réalisation, le connecteur vidéo comprend des moyens pour transmettre un flux vidéo issu d'un lecteur multimédia et/ou d'un navigateur par satellite à l'écran et/ou de tout autre équipement générateur d'images ou de flux vidéo.
Selon une réalisation, le contrôleur et les composants vidéo sont si- tués sur au moins une carte électronique dont la surface principale est sensiblement parallèle à la surface de l'interface destinée à être en vis-à-vis de l'habitacle.
Dans une réalisation, le contrôleur est situé sur une première carte et les composants vidéo sont situés sur une seconde carte, la première et la seconde carte étant reliées par des connexions souples permettant la transmission de signaux de fonctionnement du contrôleur à la seconde carte.
Selon une réalisation, le contrôleur comprend des moyens pour gérer le fonctionnement du tableau de commande et de l'écran en effectuant au moins une des opérations suivantes nécessaires à l'activité d'interface: acquisition d'une commande et/ou pilotage d'un indicateur, allumage/extinction de l'écran, traitement d'informations relatives à un diagnostic, commande d'une intensité lumineuse d'affichage.
Dans une réalisation, l'interface présente une surface de protection et un capot s'étendant pratiquement sur la longueur de l'interface.
L'invention concerne également un procédé d'assemblage d'une in- terface homme/machine comprenant un tableau de commande, muni d'au moins une commande et/ou d'au moins un indicateur, ainsi que d'un contrôleur gérant le fonctionnement du tableau de commande et ses communications, via au moins un connecteur associé, avec un réseau multiplexe du véhicule caractérisé en ce que, l'interface comprenant un écran multifonc- tions relié au contrôleur du tableau de commande conformément à l'une des revendications précédentes, on insère l'interface dans le tableau de bord en un seul bloc.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention ressortiront clairement de la description qui en est donnée ci-dessous, à titre indicatif et nul- lement limitatif, en référence aux différentes figures annexées qui montrent :
- à la figure 1 , déjà décrite, des vues en coupes de l'interface d'un tableau de bord et de l'interface d'un tableau de commande selon l'art antérieur,
- à la figure 2, une vue en coupe d'une interface d'un tableau de bord associé à un écran multifonctions selon l'invention, et
- à la figure 3, une représentation fonctionnelle de la mise en commun de différents composants entre un tableau de commande et un écran dans une interface selon l'invention.
Description des formes de réalisation préférées de l'invention
Les éléments apparaissant sur différentes figures conservent, sauf précision contraire, les mêmes références.
En référence à la figure 2 est représentée une interface 3 compre- nant un tableau 30 de commande muni de boutons 31 et 32 ainsi que d'une mollette 33 permettant à l'utilisateur du véhicule de transmettre des commandes à une carte électronique 35 via des interfaces mécaniques 34.
Cette carte électronique 35 comprend un processeur 36, dénommé contrôleur 36 par la suite, qui gère le fonctionnement de l'interface 3, no- tamment ses connexions avec l'extérieur de l'interface via un connecteur 37 relié à un réseau multiplexe du véhicule du type CAN ou LIN.
Conformément à l'invention, cette interface 3 comprend également un écran multifonctions 41 relié au contrôleur 36 du tableau de commande de telle sorte que ce contrôleur 36 puisse également gérer le fonctionnement de l'écran multifonctions 41 et ses communications, via le connecteur 37 associé au contrôleur 41 , avec le réseau multiplexe du véhicule CAN ou LIN.
Dans cette réalisation, l'écran 41 est à commande tactile de telle sorte qu'une fonction affichée sur cet écran 41 peut être activée ou désactivée par contact d'une zone de cet écran 41. A cet effet, l'écran 41 tactile est relié à la carte électronique 35 via un transmetteur 42 de signaux relié, d'une part, à l'écran 41 et, d'autre part, à un composant dédié à la détection des déformations de l'écran pour générer des signaux de commande.
Conformément à l'invention, le contrôleur 36 gère le fonctionnement de l'interface 3 en commandant des opérations nécessaires au maintien en fonctionnement de cette interface telles que des connexions de cette dernière avec le réseau multiplexe du véhicule, du type CAN ou LIN, via le connecteur 37.
A titre d'exemple, un tel connecteur 37 permet ainsi de transmettre les signaux relatifs à l'activation/désactivation de l'écran, au diagnostic de l'interface, à son niveau d'éclairage, ou aux commandes requises tactile- ment.
Les signaux vidéo affichés sont transmis via un connecteur 47 dédié, ces signaux vidéo étant transmis selon un protocole propre au codage numérique mis en œuvre pour leur transmission et/ou affichage.
Typiquement, ces signaux vidéo sont issus d'un lecteur multimédia et/ou d'un navigateur par satellite relié à l'écran par un connecteur vidéo 47 dédié.
Lors du traitement de ces signaux, la carte 45 effectue un traitement des signaux transmis avec une fréquence élevée, de l'ordre de plusieurs MHz, conformément aux protocoles connus de traitement d'image. En d'autres termes, le contrôleur 36 gère uniquement les opérations nécessaires au fonctionnement de l'écran multifonctions 41 et du tableau de commande 30, le traitement des signaux vidéo étant assuré par des composants dédiés.
En outre, l'interface 3 présente un blindage 43 partiel bloquant le rayonnement électromagnétique des composants traitant les signaux vidéo à haute fréquence, typiquement plusieurs centaines de MHz.
De façon analogue, l'écran 41 est blindé afin de limiter son rayonnement électromagnétique.
Pour rappel, les signaux transmis via le connecteur 37, propre au ré- seau multiplexe du véhicule, sont transmis avec des fréquences de l'ordre du KHz.
Des supports 44 en métal - typiquement de l'aluminium - sont prévus pour permettre un dégagement thermique satisfaisant de l'énergie rayonnée par la carte et par l'écran. Toutefois, dans cette réalisation, l'utilisation d'une même carte 35 permet d'évacuer la chaleur générée par la partie vidéo de l'interface sur une surface particulièrement élevée puisque cette carte 35 s'étend, de façon sensiblement parallèle à la surface de l'interface, pratiquement sur la longueur de l'interface.
Dans d'autres réalisations, l'interface 3 présente une forme courbe et la carte 35 est remplacée par une pluralité de cartes, le contrôleur 36 étant situé sur une première carte et les composants vidéo étant situés sur une seconde carte reliée à la première carte par des connexions souples permettant le contrôle du fonctionnement de l'écran par le contrôleur 41.
Une telle réalisation permet d'utiliser une partie significative d'une interface - notamment la partie vidéo - en modifiant uniquement si nécessaire le contrôleur.
Indépendamment du nombre de cartes mises en œuvre, l'interface homme/machine conforme à l'invention peut présenter une faible épaisseur de l'ordre de 30 mm, particulièrement avantageuse dans l'assemblage des véhicules automobiles.
Cette épaisseur est mesurée entre sa surface 48 de recouvrement, ou plastron, visant à isoler l'intérieur de l'interface de l'habitacle pour des raisons esthétiques et techniques - protection des poussières et éventuelles projections, et son capot 49 intégrant l'ensemble des éléments de l'interface en un seul bloc.
Comme représenté sur la figure 2, le plastron 48 et le capot 49 s'étendent sur l'ensemble de la surface de l'interface destinée à être en vis, respectivement, de l'habitacle ou du compartiment moteur du véhicule.
Grâce à ce plastron 48 et au capot 49, l'interface peut être intégrée, en un bloc, dans la planche de bord par simple insertion puis fixation au moyen de pattes 52, le nombre de pattes étant ainsi réduit par rapport à l'art antérieur. L'invention permet également de réduire le nombre de composants requis pour le fonctionnement de l'interface. De fait, comme montré à la figure 3, des fonctions de l'interface 10 de tableau de commande et de l'interface 20 d'écran multifonction sont mises en commun, dans l'interface 3 selon l'invention, ce qui réduit le nombre de composants embarqués dans le véhicule.
Par exemple : un contrôleur 36 remplace les deux contrôleurs 16 et 26, un connecteur 37 remplace les deux connecteurs 17 et 27, une unique alimentation 53 est requise pour les deux alimentations - non référencées - du tableau de commande ou de l'écran. Par ailleurs, l'utilisation d'une surface de protection unique 48, remplaçant les deux surfaces de protection 18 et 28, permet d'améliorer la qualité et la fiabilité du montage comme précédemment indiqué.
D'autres éléments, non représentés, peuvent être mis en commun. Par exemple, le blindage requis pour l'écran et/ou les composants vidéo à haute fréquence peuvent être utilisés pour limiter le rayonnement électromagnétique d'un autre élément de l'interface. La présente invention est susceptible de nombreuses variantes. Par exemple, le contrôleur 36 de l'interface peut être développé pour gérer directement des fonctions requérant une faible capacité de calcul telles que la climatisation.
En fonction des réalisations, l'écran 41 de l'interface peut être de dif- férente nature - OLED, TFT par exemple - et fixée de manière rigide ou de manière mobile, par exemple pivotante, à l'interface. De même, en fonction des variantes, cet écran utilise ou non une commande tactile.
Egalement, selon d'autres variantes, l'interface peut comprendre un indicateur du type LED ou afficheur à cristaux liquides. En conclusion, il ressort qu'une interface homme/machine conforme à l'invention présente de nombreux avantages, telle que sa faible épaisseur, qui découlent de la mise en commun de différents éléments - comme le processeur - pour gérer le fonctionnement d'un tableau de commande et d'un écran multifonction. En outre, ces avantages peuvent être accrus par l'utilisation possible pour un élément de l'interface d'un espace important parallèle à l'ensemble de la surface de l'interface située en vis-à-vis de l'habitacle du véhicule.
Ainsi, une carte électronique d'importantes dimensions peut être située parallèlement à cette surface de l'interface, ce qui permet de diminuer l'épaisseur de l'interface comparativement à une interface dédiée à une unique fonction - tableau de bord ou écran multifonctions par exemple.
Claims
1. Interface (3) homme/machine comprenant un tableau (30) de commande, muni d'au moins une commande (31 , 32, 33) et/ou d'au moins un indicateur, ainsi que d'un contrôleur (36) gérant le fonctionnement du tableau (30) de commande et ses communications, via au moins un connecteur associé (37), avec un réseau multiplexe du véhicule, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend également un écran multifonctions (41) relié au contrôleur (36) du tableau de commande de telle sorte que ce contrôleur (36) puisse également gérer le fonctionnement de l'écran multifonctions (41) et ses communications, via le connecteur associé (37), avec le réseau multiplexe du véhicule.
2. Interface (3) homme/machine selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que l'écran (41) est muni d'une surface tactile reliée au contrôleur (36).
3. Interface (3) homme/machine selon la revendication 1 ou 2 caractérisée en ce que le contrôleur comprend des moyens pour traiter des signaux multiplexes, transmis via le connecteur associé (37), à une fréquence significativement inférieure à une fréquence de traitement de signaux vidéo reçus par l'écran multifonctions.
4. Interface (3) selon la revendication 3 caractérisée en ce que l'écran est associé à un blindage (52) visant à limiter le rayonnement électromagnétique émis par l'écran et/ou par des composants vidéo dédiés au traitement des signaux vidéo.
5. Interface (3) selon la revendication 4 caractérisée en ce que les composants vidéo dédiés au traitement des signaux vidéo sont reliés à un réseau de transmission de signaux vidéo via un connecteur vidéo (47).
6. Interface (3) selon la revendication 5 caractérisée en ce que le con- necteur vidéo (47) comprend des moyens pour transmettre un flux vidéo issu d'un lecteur multimédia et/ou d'un navigateur par satellite à l'écran (41) et/ou de tout autre équipement générateur d'images ou de flux vidéo.
7. Interface (3) selon l'une des revendications 4, 5 ou 6 caractérisée en ce que le contrôleur (36) et les composants vidéo sont situés sur au moins une carte électronique dont la surface principale est sensiblement parallèle à la surface de l'interface destinée à être en vis-à-vis de l'habitacle.
8. Interface (3) selon la revendication 7 caractérisée en ce que le contrôleur est situé sur une première carte et les composants vidéo sont situés sur une seconde carte, la première et la seconde cartes étant reliées par des connexions souples permettant la transmission de si- gnaux de fonctionnement du contrôleur à la seconde carte.
9. Interface (3) selon l'une des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que le contrôleur (36) comprend des moyens pour gérer le fonctionnement du tableau de commande (30) et de l'écran (41) en effectuant au moins une des opérations suivantes nécessaires à l'activité d'interface: acquisition d'une commande et/ou pilotage d'un indicateur, allumage/extinction de l'écran (41), traitement d'informations relatives à un diagnostic, commande d'une intensité lumineuse d'affichage.
10. Interface (3) selon l'une des revendications précédentes caractérisée en ce qu'elle présente une surface de protection (48) et un capot (49) s'étendant sur l'ensemble d'une surface de l'interface destinée à être en vis-à-vis, respectivement, de l'habitacle ou du compartiment moteur du véhicule.
11. Procédé d'assemblage d'une interface homme/machine (3) compre- nant un tableau (30) de commande, muni d'au moins une commande et/ou d'au moins un indicateur, ainsi que d'un contrôleur (36) gérant le fonctionnement du tableau (30) de commande et ses communications, via au moins un connecteur associé (37), avec un réseau multiplexe du véhicule caractérisé en ce que, l'interface comprenant un écran (41) multifonctions relié au contrôleur (36) du tableau (30) de commande conformément à l'une des revendications précédentes, on insère l'interface dans le tableau de bord en un seul bloc.
