If, however, a stronger braking effect is required, for example in the case of an emergency braking triggered by the driver, the eddy current brake 10 is additionally actuated by an actuating process of the actuator 13 activated, so that the eddy current brake 10 additionally acts and ensures maximum braking effect.
- the waste heat generated in the braking operation of the eddy current brake 10 but also by the electric machine 3 can be collected in the heat accumulator 7 and used for air conditioning of the hybrid vehicle, so that no electrical energy must be used for this purpose.
