Abstract

The method involves assembling a skeleton framework (3) of a driving cab (1) of a train. A cap shaped glass roof (2) is assembled by fixing glass panes e.g. windscreens (4) or front and rear side windows (5, 6), with a glass roof frame (10), where the glass panes are enclosed by a metal frame i.e. aluminum frame, and the roof frame is provided with a skin. The glass roof is fixed with the framework to form a single piece so as to cover an upper receiving opening (3b) that receives the glass roof, and to close an inner volume (3a) of the framework of the driving cab of the train. An independent claim is also included for a driving cab of a train, comprising a skeleton framework.
