Claims (8)

  1. A copy separation station (4) for a sheet punching and/or embossing machine (100), for separating single copies, from a sheet (6) made of paper, cardboard, plastic, in-mould or the like, transported into the copy separation station (4) in a sheet transport direction (F) using a copy separation grid (40),
    characterized in that
    a multitude of suction belt modules (21) are arranged upstream with respect to the copy separation grid (40), wherein the suction belt modules are movable transverse to the sheet transport direction (F), wherein a respective suction belt module (21) comprises a suction belt (23) having an upper section in a sheet transport plane (E) for slowing down sheets (6) and a suction chamber (22) for creating suction air, and wherein the effective length (I, I') of the suction belt (23) is variable.
  2. The copy separation station according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the effective length (I, I') of the suction belt (23) can be varied so as to approximately correspond to the distance of the downstream edge (H1) of the copy separation station from the downstream edge (H2) of the copy separation grid.
  3. The copy separation station according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that
    a respective suction belt module (23) has a device (24) for the length adjustment of the suction belt (23)
    and/or
    a respective suction belt module (23) is guided over idler pulleys (25).
  4. The copy separation station according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
    characterized in that
    an electric motor (27) for driving the suction belts (23) is part of the copy separation station (4).
  5. The copy separation station according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
    characterized in that
    an electric motor (27) for driving a respective suction belt (23) is part of a respective suction belt module (21).
  6. The copy separation station according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    a respective suction belt (23) consists of an electrically conductive material or contains an electrically conductive material.
  7. The copy separation station according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    at least one suction belt module (21) comprises an electrical discharge device or an ionization device (26).
  8. A sheet punching and/or embossing machine (100) comprising a copy separation station (4) according to any one of the preceding claims.
