Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multiple plug with sliding contacts, which can be pushed into the housing of the multiple plug in and out of the housing of the multiple plug out.
  • These plug contacts have a slide made of plastic with an actuating head on it, and on this slider, the pins are each a plug of a particular power plug standard arranged.
  • Such a multiple plug is from the WO 02/063723 A2 known.
  • This multiple plug has four plug contacts of different standard with two pins each.
  • the plug contact British standard also has an opener to open a socket closure.
  • This opener is made in one piece with the designed as a slide carrier part made of plastic.
  • This support part is C-shaped. At one end of the C, the actuating head and the opener are arranged, on the other, the Phasepin of the UK plug contact is arranged. Between the two ends of the C-shaped support member of the neutral pin of the UK plug contact is arranged. An AU plug contact is located within this C.
  • On the one side of the C-shaped UK support part is followed by the NC a US plug contact, on the other side is followed by the UK pins an EU plug contact arranged.
  • This multi-pusher therefore has a housing and at least two plug contacts of different standard in a known manner. These plug contacts are in the housing into a passive position and out of the housing in a Sliding active position. Each plug contact has a slide with an actuator head and on the slider electrically conductive pins.
  • the individual plug contacts have three electrically conductive pins arranged on a common slider.
  • the slides have in plan view substantially a C, G, - U or V-shaped shape, which shapes are formed by two or more legs of the slide. Between the thighs there is a gap in each case.
  • the slides are arranged so that they engage each other with one leg into the space of the other slider. That is, in the passive position, the sliders are mutually arranged with one end of the C, G, V or U shape between the ends of the C, G, V or U shape of the other slider.
  • the inventive arrangement de slider has the advantage that the multiple connector is very compact, and the various sliding contacts can be arranged in a small space. Also, the number of required items for the construction of the connector can be kept to a minimum.
  • the electrically conductive pins are each formed by a phasepin, a neutral pin, and an earth pin, and the sliders are each arranged so that the ground pins are immediately adjacent to each other.
  • Such an arrangement greatly simplifies the construction of the connector.
  • the sliders in plan view may have different shapes, each having in common that between the pins, in particular between the Phasepin and the neutral pin on the one hand, and the ground pin on the other hand, a gap remains free, in which a pin carrying a leg adjacent slider can intervene.
  • Such trained slider has abstractly approximately the shape of a "C”. If reference is made below, in particular, to the "C-shape" of the slider, this should by no means be limiting for the subject matter of the invention, but should include all forms which permit the function according to the invention.
  • the one actuating head is arranged at one end of the first preferably C-shaped slide.
  • the other actuating head is disposed between the ends of the second preferably C-shaped slider.
  • the second C-shaped Slider receives by the operating head has an approximately Y-shaped shape.
  • the first C-shaped slider may be given the shape of a question mark or "S" by the actuator head.
  • C-shaped in the context of the present invention is to be understood merely that the shape of the slider between the first pin and the third pin makes a bend, curve or loop and that the second pin of the plug contact is arranged on this arc.
  • the sliders are perpendicular to their C-shape, i. in the axial direction of the pins, they require a sliding area with this form.
  • Das means that the sliding areas in the manner of each intermeshing with a leg U-profiles fit together.
  • This arrangement of the sliding parts or the sliding areas makes it possible to interlock the triangle-arranged three pins of a plug contact with the likewise arranged in the triangle three pins of a second plug contact. As a result, the multiple plug can be produced with low volume.
  • the first slider and the third slider are therefore each arranged with one end between the two ends of the second C-shaped slider.
  • two U-shaped sliding areas each encompass another leg of a third sliding area and each extend with a leg between the legs of this third sliding area.
  • the third shift range is thus that of the middle plug contact.
  • each pin of a plug-in contact mentioned is connected to a shorter minipin, which is located near the pin on the slider and protrudes from this.
  • This minipin is plugged into an electrically conductive strip when the slider is pushed into the active position. He is removed from this bar again when leaving the active position.
  • the mini pins of different slides are expediently aligned with each other.
  • a simple guide is a rod that extends through a hole in the slider. At least one of the slides therefore has a guide opening for receiving a guide rod.
  • the guide rod is conveniently part of the housing and integral with this.
  • each slide has at least one such stop.
  • the C-shaped slide is advantageously formed next to each pin on the back of the slider, a stop which cooperates in the active position with the locking body.
  • the multiple slide connector has at least three, preferably at least four plug contacts and most preferably at least five plug contacts the standards of the following countries: USA, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, Germany (Schuko), France (Schuko), Israel, India, South Africa. These plugs are electrically connected to the socket of another country standard. Such a connector allows a traveler to use his entrained electrical equipment in the respective countries.
  • the ground pins of three, preferably of 4 plug contacts are arranged substantially along a straight line and preferably directly adjacent to one another.
  • the plug contacts are provided on one side of the housing, and on the opposite side of a socket of a particular country standard with three sockets, which sockets with the corresponding pins of the plug contacts is electrically connected.
  • the subject matter of the present invention is also a three-pin travel plug according to claim 14.
  • the set shown comprises a plug 10 with a multiple socket 9 and a multiple plug 11 with a rear socket 12 for this plug 10.
  • the multiple socket can include several sockets different national standards, the composition may vary depending on the application.
  • the multiple connector 11 has a housing 13 in which four sliding contacts are housed with connector pins of different standards. These sliding contacts each have actuating heads 15, which are arranged outside of the housing 13. The actuating heads 15 are each by means of an extension or web 23 (FIG. Fig. 2 ) connected to the arranged in the housing 13 slides.
  • the bridge 23 ( Fig. 2 ) extends through a slot 17 in the housing 13. Through the slots 17 through shields 19 can be seen.
  • These shields 19 are urged by the web 23 to the side when a sliding contact from the passive position in the housing in the active position (not shown in the figures) is pushed. In the active position, the pins of the respective sliding contact protrude out of the housing, so that there is a normal pin length outside the housing. The shields 19 pushed to the side prevent a second sliding contact from being pushed into the active position at the same time.
  • a locking body is present.
  • This release button 21 is biased by a spring element in the basic position.
  • arms of the locking body are moved perpendicular to the direction of displacement of the sliding contacts.
  • the sliding contacts are mounted freely displaceable. If the release button 21 is released, it shifts back under the action of the spring element back into the basic position shown. In this basic position of the locking body locks the sliding contact located in the active position.
  • FIG. 2 the sliding contacts are shown in the passive position.
  • a first sliding contact 30 for sockets of the Italian and Swiss standards available. This has a male body 39 and the three pins for the phase (pin 31), the neutral conductor (pin 33) and for the earth (pin 35).
  • the earth pin 35 is shown twice, once in the triangle position for Swiss sockets and once in the linear position for Italian sockets.
  • a second sliding contact 40 for sockets of the AU standard is arranged above it.
  • This plug-in contact 40 has a slide 47, which is formed substantially U-shaped.
  • This slider 47 carries at its distal end of a first leg 46 the ground pin 45 of the AU standard.
  • the slanted pins for phase (pin 41) and neutral (pin 43) are arranged on a second leg 48 of this slide 47. Subsequent to the Phasepin 41 of the actuating head 15 is integrally formed by means of the web 23 to the second leg 48.
  • first leg 54 of the slider 57 of the UK plug contact 50 In the intermediate space 52, which is formed by the two legs 46, 48 of the U-shaped slide 47, protrudes a first leg 54 of the slider 57 of the UK plug contact 50.

  • second leg 56 of the NC and ground pin 55 of the UK standard On the slide 57, the web 23 is formed with the actuating head 15 in a region between the two legs 54,56.
  • the slider 67 of the plug-in contact 60 for US standard cans is also approximately C- or G-shaped. He has formed at a first end of the one leg 62, the web 23 with the actuating head 15. Subsequent to this web 23 of the Phasepin 61 is arranged on the slider 67. Of the Slider 67 now surrounds the leg 56 of the adjacent UK slide 57, on which the ground pin 55 is arranged, with the second leg 64. The leg 64 holds the US phase trap 61. In the assembled state of the multi-push connector, the US phasepin 61 and the US neutral pin 63 are disposed on opposite sides of the UK ground pin 55 (FIG. Fig. 2 ).
  • the slider 67 still surrounds the UK ground pin 55 on the fourth side, where it still carries the US earth pin 65 on the leg 64.
  • the US ground pin 65 is thus immediately adjacent to the AU ground pin 45. Both of these ground pins 45, 65 are disposed within the approximate C shape of the slider 57 of the UK slide contact 50.
  • the socket 12 is designed as a Schuko socket, which can accommodate both Schuko plug of the German standard and those of the French standard.
  • the earth contact is ensured in the socket of the multiple stretchers 11 in the form of a pin corresponding to the French standard and in the form of two contact strips corresponding to the German standard. These are outside the sliding range for the sliding contacts.
  • a contact pin (not shown in the figures) is arranged in the interior of the housing 13. This contact pin is tapped by sliders 25 of the AU plug contact 40.
  • the socket 12 can be designed as a socket of any country standard just as the plug contacts may include different combinations of any country standards. In a travel plug, the socket will belong to a different standard than the plug contacts of the travel plug.
  • the remaining pins have a metallic minipin 27 on the slides in the immediate vicinity of the pin. These minipins are each in managerial contact with the associated main pin. In the active position of a plug contact, the mini pins are in electrical connection with a contact strip (not shown in the figures), which in turn with the Contact sockets or earth devices of the socket 12 of the multiple plug 11 is electrically connected.
  • a third passage point 83 is formed for the third arm 73 of the locking part 70.
  • This third arm 73 locks the slider 47 of the AU plug contact 40 in the active position and in the passive position at the point 93 (FIG. Fig. 7 ) near the AU ground pin 45.
  • a fourth passage 84 is present on the neutral side between the UK plug contact 50 and the AU plug contact 40.
  • the fourth arm 74 extends and locks the slider 57 at the point 94. However, this locking takes place only in the active position of the slider 57. In its passive position, the fourth arm 74 as an exception has no function.
  • passage points 85 and 86 are formed symmetrically. Through these passage points extend the fifth and sixth arms 75 and 76 of the locking member 70. These fifth and sixth arms 75,76 lock both the CH / IT slider 37 at the locations 95 and the AU slider 47 at the locations 96. These locations are each close to the pins for phase and neutral.
