Selon l'invention, un procédé de commande d'un système de freinage de véhicule avec antipatinage électronique permet la représentation de caractéristiques d'actionnement de pédale largement homogènes dans les différents modes de fonctionnement dudit système de freinage, un ensemble de soupapes (30, 32) étant commandé de sorte que le fluide sous pression s'écoule du frein de roue (20-26) dans le réservoir à fluide sous pression (36) et le moteur d'entraînement (39) du générateur de pression (38) étant commandé simultanément.
