Definitions
- a driving part containing a drive motor, the first handle with a first switching device and a second handle with associated second switching device aufwest, the drive motor is only executable when both switching devices are actuated,
- a transmission part having an output shaft for engaging a key nut
- a power tool which has on the housing of a drive part a handle with a switching device.
- Another handle with a second switching device is located at the rear end of the housing containing the drive part. Both handles are firmly connected to the housing. The user must operate two switching devices simultaneously in order to put the power tool into operation. This ensures that both hands must be used for operation and the free hand can not intervene in the danger zone.
- the drive part has two handles, each of which contains a switching device.
- the drive part is followed by a transmission part, which is rotatable relative to the drive part and has a support leg for support against a stationary abutment.
- the invention has for its object to provide a screwdriver of the type mentioned, in which the risk of injury to the person holding the screwdriver is reduced, the handling or the attachment to a screw to be screwed, is facilitated.
- the screwdriver according to the invention is characterized by the claim 1.
- the rotatability of the transmission part relative to the drive member causes when attaching the key nut to a screw to be rotated after switching on the drive part of the transmission part rotates about its longitudinal axis and slowly pivots the support leg until it hits against a stationary abutment. Only then does the actual screwing process start, in which the screw head is turned. The user does not need to search for an abutment for the support leg. He can wait after switching on the drive part until the support foot abuts against an abutment during its rotation.
- the drive part and the associated handle can assume any orientation that is comfortable for the user. In hard-to-reach places, the user can turn the handle so that it is easily accessible for him without the user having to assume an uncomfortable position or position for him.
- the operation of the two switching devices requires that the user has his hand on the associated handle. This ensures that both hands must be used for operation. It is irrelevant whether both switching devices must be operated simultaneously or offset in time. If a switching device is not operated during operation or the operation of a switching device stops, the device switches off automatically.
- the handles are arranged so far apart that with the hand grasping a handle, the other handle or the associated switching device can not be reached. This excludes that both switching devices can be operated simultaneously with a single hand.
- At least one handle is rotatable relative to the transmission part, it is achieved that the user can bring the rotatable handle in a position in which it can be well held for the particular application.
- the transmission part is rotatable with respect to both handles.
- the first and / or the second switching device is integrated in the respective handle.
- a slow start of the rotary wrench can be controlled.
- the first handle is part of a hand guard, which has an enclosed passage opening.
- a hand guard which has an enclosed passage opening.
- Such a handle is also referred to as a spade handle.
- the hand guard protects the back of the hand and the back of the finger against contact with injury-prone parts.
- the hand guard has at one end a head piece of the drive part and at the other end a bearing ring, wherein the bearing ring surrounds the transmission part, which is rotatable relative to the bearing ring.
- the bearing ring encompass the transmission part relatively far forward, so that a better guidance of the rotary wrench is given by the first handle and / or the second handle.
- a corresponding effect can also be achieved in that the second handle has a bearing ring surrounding the transmission part, which is spaced from the drive part and connected to it by a bridge.
- Fig. 1 an inventive screwdriver as electric screwdriver
- FIG. 2 shows a rotary screwdriver according to the invention as a pneumatic screwdriver
- the electric screwdriver according to FIG. 1 has an elongated housing 10 with a drive part 11 containing a drive motor. On the drive part 11 is followed in the axial direction by a freely rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the transmission part 12.
- the transmission part 12 serves to transmit power from the drive part 11 to the key nut 13. It contains a gearbox in a partial housing, for. As a multi-stage planetary gear for power reduction, but may also consist of a running in a sub-housing simple shaft.
- At the front end of the transmission part is the end of an output shaft, on which a key nut 13 is attached. The key nut is snapped onto the screw head of a screw to be turned.
- the transmission part 12 is rotatably connected to the drive part 11.
- reaction torque is a non-rotatably connected to the transmission member 12 support leg 14, which here projects laterally from the housing and obliquely forwards, to be set with its front end against a stationary abutment, which is here an adjacent screw can act.
- a first handle 20 is fixed, which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the housing 10.
- the handle 20 is part of a hand guard 21, which surrounds a fully enclosed passage opening 22.
- the rear end of the housing 10 forms a part of the hand guard.
- the first switching device 23 is integrated. This has a push button 24 zn statements and a trigger button. The trigger button can be locked with the push button 24. In this way, unintentional switching on of the electric screwdriver is prevented.
- An electrical supply line 25 in the form of a cable leads into the hand guard 21.
- a second handle 30 is mounted in the front region of the drive part 11. It consists of a freely projecting from the housing 10 rod, which is surrounded by a handle pad. The orientation of both handles 20,30 is transverse to the longitudinal axis of the housing 10. In the second handle 30, a second switching device 33 is integrated.
- the second handle 30 is attached to a bridge 38, which connects a bearing ring 35 with the housing 10 of the drive part. Between bearing ring 35 and housing 10 is a portion 12a of the tubular transmission part. The bearing ring 35 is pre-displaced by the U-shaped bridge 38 relative to the housing 10. This ensures that the second handle 30, which is attached to the bridge 38, is relatively close to the front end of the power wrench, so that the user has a better management opportunity.
- a switching member 39 with which the reduction ratio can be changed. This switching element 39 can be moved through the bridge 38 when rotating the transmission part.
- the key nut 13 When using the power wrench, the key nut 13 is placed on a screw head and the handles 20 and 30 are rotated to a position that is comfortable for the user. Then, the drive part 11 is turned on. Since the support leg 14 has not yet found an abutment, the key nut 13 stops, while the transmission part 12 rotates about its longitudinal axis and thereby pivots the support leg 14 on a circle. If the support leg 14 abuts against an abutment, the further rotation of the transmission part 12 is stopped. Now start turning the screw. At each stage of the screwing operation, the user can rotate the housing 10 with the drive member 11 to provide an ergonomically good position for the user.
- a pneumatic screwdriver is shown, wherein such components whose function corresponds to that of the first embodiment, are provided with the same reference numerals.
- the first handle 20 is fastened at the rear end of the housing 10, so that it projects laterally from the housing 10, ie radially to the housing axis.
- the drive part 11 includes a pneumatic motor. The supply of the drive part 11 via a compressed air connection 26, which is arranged at the outer end of the handle 20.
- the handle 20 is also part of a hand guard 21 a, which encloses a passage opening 22.
- the first switching device 23 is also located here at the through opening 22 facing the inside of the handle 20.
- the handle 20 is connected to a head piece 36 which adjoins the rear end of the drive member 11. The head piece 36 forms the rear end of the hand guard bar 21.
- the front end of a bearing ring 35 of the Hand guard formed, which surrounds the transmission part 12 at a distance from the drive part 11.
- the hand guard 21 with head 36 and bearing ring 35 is fixedly connected to the drive member 11.
- the transmission part 12 is rotatable. In this way, the hand guard 21, which has the two handles 20 and 30, are rotated to the position suitable for the user.
- the second switching device 33 is located on the second handle 30, from which it protrudes forward.
- the transmission part 12 is rotatably connected to the drive part 11.
- a bearing ring 35 is attached via the hand guard 21a from which the second handle 30 protrudes.
- the bearing ring 35 is here at a distance from the drive part, so that a portion 12 a of the transmission part 12 between the drive part 11 and bearing ring 35 is arranged.
- Figure 2 shows the longitudinal spline 40, on which the support leg 14 is supported non-rotatably.
- the spline 40 is part of the housing of the transmission part 12. This housing is rotatably connected to the drive part 11.
- the hand guard 21a can be brought into a desired rotational position.
- the hand guard forms a bridge that connects the bearing ring 35 with the drive part 11.
