Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Saitenhalter (8) für ein Streichinstrument, sowie auf ein entsprechendes Streichinstrument selbst. Der Saitenhalter verfügt über einen Auflagesteg (14) für die Saiten des Streichinstruments und je ein Befestigungselement (28) für ein Ende (10) je einer Saite. Ferner ist am Saitenhalter mindestens ein Feinstimmer (13) zum Feinstimmen einer Saite befestigt. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Feinstimmer zwischen dem Befestigungselement für das Ende der feinstimmbaren Saite und dem Auflagesteg angeordnet ist, und dass zwischen dem Feinstimmer und dem Auflagesteg eine den Saitenhalter durchquerende und von der feinstimmbaren Saite zu durchlaufende Bohrung (26) vorgesehen ist.
