Abstract

L'invention concerne un connecteur optique enfichable permettant de connecter, de façon amovible, une pluralité de fils optiques (115), lequel connecteur comprend une pièce d'insertion (112, 112'), dans laquelle les fils (115) sont insérés sur un premier côté, les fils (115) aboutissant dans la pièce par leurs fibres optiques (119, 120) et ladite pièce présentant, sur un second côté, un dispositif élargisseur (117, 118), au niveau duquel les faisceaux sortent des fibres (119, 120) sous forme élargie. L'invention vise à simplifier la construction et le montage dudit connecteur. A cet effet, la pièce d'insertion (112, 112') est composée de deux éléments séparés (113; 117, 118) pouvant être assemblés, l'un étant réalisé sous forme de dispositif élargisseur (117, 118) et l'autre sous forme de bloc de retenue (113) destiné à recevoir les extrémités des fils (115).
