- Method for cleaning dosing lines in automatically controlled laundry treatment machines in which flowable laundry treatment agents are supplied from at least one reservoir in machine-sized doses via a dosing to a laundry treatment process, which are rinsed after supplying a dose by means of a rinsing agent, in particular by means of water can.

- a flushing of the dosing line could be made dependent on how long the immediately preceding supply of a dose is behind and / or how fast the laundry treatment agent of the immediately preceding dosing dries, sediments or thus increments its state of aggregation. Namely, if the likelihood of reactions between the doses of successive laundry treating agents or a change in state of aggregation makes rinsing obsolete, it may be omitted. This saves water and time.
- a rinse may also be applied in more than one step according to a further development of the invention. This may be beneficial if a time has elapsed since the last addition of a laundry treatment agent that tends to dry, sediment or incre- ment, indicating a change in the state of aggregation.
