Es sind Vorrichtungen zur Montage von Leuchten, insbesondere Einbaustrahlern, Deckenleuchten oder Pendelleuchten bekannt, welche gewöhnlich einen Montagering bzw. einen ringförmigen Haltekörper, einen Halte- oder Drehring sowie ein Gehäuse mit einem Reflektor und einer Fassung für eine Lampe aufweisen. Der Montagering wird dabei in einen dafür vorgesehenen Einbauausschnitt in einem meist flächigen Gebäudeausschnitt dauerhaft befestigt. Auf dem Drehring sind Mittel zur Befestigung des Reflektors und der Lampe vorgesehen. Bei den bekannten Vorrichtungen wird dabei der Drehring mit dem Montagering verbunden, so dass diese zueinander um ihren geometrischen Mittelpunkt bzw. ihre Achse drehbar sind. Die Montage einer derartigen Leuchte zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der bzw. jeder Schenkel des Bügels einer Leuchte an den Haltemitteln des Trägers verschiebbar gehalten werden, dass zum Spannen der Leuchte die Träger-Lagerschuhe und die Bügel-Lagerschuhe an den Öffnungsrand des Haltekörpers eingreifend montiert und unter Spannung des Bügels gehalten werden, wobei der bzw. jeder Schenkel des Bügels durch die als Bremse wirkenden Haltemittel gegen selbsttätiges Verschwenken und/oder Drehen gesichert werden. Bügel-Lagerschuh und Träger-Lagerschuh sind entlang dem Öffnungsrand versetzt und einander ungefähr diametral gegenüber angeordnet. Jeder Lagerschuh bildet zusammen mit mindestens einem Abschnitt des Öffnungsrands ein Schwenkmittel. Bügel-Lagerschuh und Träger-Lagerschuh umgreifen den Öffnungsrand jeweils in einem Zentriwinkel von weniger als 180 Grad. Die Montage der Leuchte wird dadurch erleichtert, dass diese in annähernd 360 Grad um das Öffnungszentrum zwecks Positionierung gedreht und gleichzeitig um den Öffnungsrand schwenkbar in Neigung versetzt werden kann.
