Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drive for a wing of a window according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the scissor arrangement has a push rod for actuating a skylight scissors, the push rod being operatively connected to a spindle nut which is arranged on a spindle driven by an electric motor.
  • the electric motor and the spindle are arranged below the skylight scissors.
  • an engagement arrangement is provided opposite the skylight scissors below the electric motor, which protrudes laterally from the scissor arrangement and engages in the closed position of the wing in the rebate space between the wing and frame for actuating a locking linkage arranged on the wing.
  • the distance between the skylight scissors and the wing is very large and the articulation of the wing to the skylight scissors is arranged off-center, which means that the application of force to the wing is unfavorable.
  • a motor with a spindle rod is arranged in an outer scissor arm while the pivotable scissor arm is articulated on it, can be turned out.
  • the swiveling scissor arm is also visually striking when the scissors are closed.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a universal, versatile actuating device for a wing of a window, which enables a favorable introduction of force to the wing.
  • the motor drive according to the invention serves to open and close a wing which is pivotably arranged in hinges in a frame of a window.
  • the drive arranged on the frame of the window has a scissor stay, which is articulated with its free end in a wing bracket arranged on the wing.
  • the stay scissors of the drive are advantageously arranged in such a way that when the drive is arranged centrally on the frame, the stay scissors are also articulated on the sash bracket at least approximately centrally on the sash.
  • the central application of force to the sash prevents the sash from twisting and ensures that the sash closes securely and evenly.
  • the size of the windows is often chosen for optical reasons so that a window fills a grid of the mullion-transom construction.
  • the drive can be expanded for an arrangement in a mullion-transom construction with additional elements, which means that the drive extends unobtrusively across the entire width of the window frame and ends on both sides with the vertical mullions.
  • the drive is designed as a compact structural unit, the components, such as the drive unit, push rod and stay scissors, being arranged on a common mounting plate and covered by a common cover.
  • the stay scissors are received in a receptacle of the drive, from which the stay scissors can be swung out and in.
  • the drive is closed on the side with removable side covers.
  • the side covers are designed in a chamfered shape to create a beautifully flowing transition to the frame.
  • the side covers can also be designed in a straight, narrow shape for installation in a mullion-transom construction.
  • a recess is advantageously provided in the cover, which facilitates the intervention for attaching the electrical connection.
  • the recess in the cover is covered in the assembled state by an extension arranged on the side cover.
  • the drive unit is operatively connected to the opening scissors via a push rod, the push rod having an external thread and being screwed into a spindle nut of the drive unit.
  • the push rod advantageously has an internal thread at its opposite end, which enables the push rod to be extended to connect further stay scissors or additional elements.
  • the drive can thus easily be expanded to two or more stay scissors to prevent the wing from twisting and to support the wing securely with large and heavy sashes.
  • the drive unit has an adjustment option for the maximum displacement movement of the spindle nut. This means that the opening width of the opening scissors or scissors can be adjusted.
  • the adjusting screw is located in the area of the stay scissors and from the front, i.e. perpendicular to the mounting plate, operable. Likewise, all fastenings and settings are arranged so that they can be easily operated from the front, which is particularly advantageous when installing the drive in a mullion-transom construction, since in this installation situation it is almost impossible to attach a tool to the side.
  • the push rod is moved by the sliding movement of the spindle nut of the motor drive unit.
  • the stay scissors are advantageously pivoted about the push rod so that the stay scissors can follow the displacement caused by the opening and closing of the wing.
  • the designs of the drive are arranged as a unit with a drive unit and one or more stay scissors on a mounting plate and covered with the corresponding cover.
  • additional elements can advantageously be arranged at the lateral ends.
  • An additional element can serve as a visual supplement to the drive in the installation situation in a mullion-transom construction and cannot contain any other functional elements.
