Definitions

  • the invention relates to a suction device for a hazardous materials workstation for aspirating, in particular health-endangering and / or explosive substances with an interior housing having a rear wall, two opposing side walls, a ceiling element and an access opening, with an exhaust means for sucking the substances from the interior, with a working area in the interior, and with a suction connection.
  • Such a suction device is as a deduction from the DE 103 38 287 B4 known, another suction device is from the DE 102 005 047 194 known.
  • This has the disadvantage that when dealing with the materials in the work area of the fume cupboard these distribute throughout the interior, which is why a very strong suction power is necessary to suck the substances sufficiently from the interior can. Due to the large volume of the interior there is a risk that the substances can not be removed to a sufficient extent from the interior and thus can lead to a burden on the operator. Especially when dealing with hazardous substances there is an increased risk that a sufficient extraction of hazardous substances from the interior to protect the operating personnel from damage to health can not be guaranteed.
  • the problem underlying the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned, so that a more effective removal of pollutants from the interior, in particular to meet the stricter EU standards, guaranteed, the device must be used in many ways and the operation too a comparatively low energy and / or cost and a lower noise pollution should result.
  • the problem underlying the invention is achieved by a connectable to the suction, absorbent and replaceable functional element.
  • the functional element located in the interior can be connected to the suction connection by means of the extraction connection arranged on the extraction booth, whereby the substances are directly and directly sucked out of the working area.
  • the extraction connection arranged on the extraction booth
  • the substances are directly and directly sucked out of the working area.
  • a large part of the substances is already sucked off in the immediate vicinity of the source for the substances entering the interior.
  • the burden of the entire interior with the substances is significantly reduced and thus a risk to operating personnel is significantly reduced.
  • the device according to the invention is at the same time very versatile and can be used for a very wide variety of purposes.
  • the deduction cabin can be adapted to a wide variety of requirements by selecting a suitable functional element.
  • the extraction capacity with the functional element used corresponds to the extraction capacity of the extraction booth without an inserted functional element, whereby in the latter case the extraction can be effected directly by means of the suction connection.
  • the exhaust air means serves both for the suction of gaseous fluids or the substances from the entire interior of the device as well as for targeted suction of the substances from the work area by means of AbsauganBankes.
  • the housing has a suction distributor.
  • this suction manifold By means of this suction manifold different suction streams are guided in a defined manner and directed to the exhaust air.
  • the arrangement of the suction manifold on the housing allows on the one hand an effective and low production cost, and on the other hand, the possibility to integrate the suction manifold in the housing so that it takes up little space and remains hidden after installation for the operator. This also achieves an aesthetically pleasing overall impression.
  • the suction distributor is designed as a, in particular double-walled, rear wall of the housing.
  • the rear wall is assigned an additional function, which is an effective use of the available space.
  • the rear wall has a large area, which allows a sufficiently large dimensions of the Absaugverteilers.
  • the rear wall preferably has at least one suction connection on a side facing the working area.
  • the suction can be provided at any suitable location of the rear wall.
  • the suction connection goes directly into the suction manifold, which cooperates with the exhaust air means and thus dissipates the withdrawal stream on the shortest route from the work area and the fume cupboard.
  • the suction port is formed as an opening, a slot, a flange and / or a coupling.
  • a suitably designed suction connection is provided.
  • several, in particular horizontally and superimposed, slots are provided as Absaugan let in the rear wall. This allows on the one hand the suction of the substances from the entire interior of the device and on the other hand, the use of functional elements that are connectable at different heights with one or more suction connections.
  • the slots are formed over the entire width of the rear wall. This leads on the one hand to a more effective extraction of the substances from the entire interior and on the other hand allows a horizontally displaceable positioning of the functional element.
  • the functional element can be used as a modular module in the interior.
  • the same fume cupboard can be used for different purposes by means of exchangeable functional elements.
  • a plurality of functional elements can be used simultaneously and / or optionally in the interior.
  • the interior of the fume cupboard can be equipped according to the individual needs.
  • the combination of several functional elements is greatly facilitated by the modular or modular usability in the interior.
  • the connection of the functional element to the suction connection by the insertion of the functional element in the interior is automatically produced. Thus, no further manipulations are necessary for the production of the connection between the functional element and the suction connection except for the insertion of the functional element. This leads to a simplified operability and favors a replacement of the functional element.
  • At least one functional element of a plurality of functional elements simultaneously inserted into the interior of the suction connection can optionally be connected to the suction connection. If it is not necessary because of the desired application of the device that all functional elements inserted into the interior are connected to a suction, it is thus, in particular by manual selection, possible to connect one or more selected functional elements to the suction. As a result, the exhaust power available by means of the exhaust air is used specifically and thus particularly effective.
  • a plurality of functional elements used simultaneously in the interior interact with each other for sucking the substances from the work area.
  • the functional elements are connected to each other via exhaust ducts, whereby the substances from the working areas of all inserted functional elements can be sucked.
