Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Duschbodenelement (1) mit einer randseitigen Abstufung, beispielsweise zusammengesetzt aus zwei oder mehr übereinander angeordneten Schaumstoff-Plattenteilen (2, 3) oder gebildet aus einem entsprechenden, eine Stufenausbildung aufweisenden Integralteil, mit einem Ablauf (4) und einem folienartigen, randseitig angebrachten Abdichtelement (7), und schlägt zur Erzielung einer vorteilhaften Einbaumöglichkeit vor, dass der Ablauf (4) einem Eckbereich des Duschbodenelementes (1) zugeordnet ist, dass die Entwässerungsrinne (8) randseitig angeordnet ist und das Abdichtelement (7) zunächst, im Sinne einer werkseitigen Vormontage, nur an zwei einander kreuzenden Randseiten des Duschbodenelementes (1) angebracht ist, wobei an jedenfalls einer dieser Randseiten die Entwässerungsrinne (8) vorgesehen ist.
