Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cleaning and reconditioning of wet wipes or mops in a washing machine with a tub in which a drum is rotatably mounted, with the phases prewash, wash, rinse, wherein after the expiration of each phase for removing liquid from the Lye a drain device is activated.
- mops or wipes are generally used which are wet, damp or provided with an additive for application to the floor covering. Due to the ever increasing demands on the quality of cleaning and the duration of the cleaning process, these conditions must also be taken into account for the cleaning and reprocessing of the wipes or mops themselves.
- a washing process for washing oily clothing in a washing machine system is known in which a spin cycle is provided prior to the wash to remove soluble (oily) liquids which are discharged to an evaporator for diligent disposal.
- the method is not suitable for wipes, because no pre-rinsing to remove coarse dirt and the removal of the cleaning agent (for example, floor cleaner) is provided.
- a device for cleaning mop covers is from the EP 1 068 830 A2 known.
- the mop cover is pushed with mop holder in the clamped state through a slot in the housing of the device.
- the dirty liquid is pushed out of the mop and sucked off.
- cleaning is only suitable for coarse and easily removable dirt.
- the moistening or finishing of the mop must in each case be carried out in a separate operation, for example by spraying a liquid.
- the invention is based on the object to provide an improved method for cleaning and recycling of mops or wipes in a washing machine.
- the invention is further based on the object of providing a washing machine for carrying out the improved method for cleaning and recycling mops or wipes.
- the main advantage of the method according to the invention is that the cleaning and recycling of wet wipes or mops is improved in a simple manner without increasing the water consumption.
- a spin phase with activation of the drainage device takes place, which causes a dewatering of wet wipes or mops.
- a large part of the heavily soiled water bound in the wipes is removed by spinning and drained or pumped out of the tub.
- significantly less dirty water from the wipes gets into the rinsing liquor, so that the rinsing effect is improved. If cleaning or care agents, for example for cleaning smooth floors, are still present in the wet wipes, then this too is largely removed in the spin phase with the drainage device activated, thereby preventing undesirable foaming in the subsequent pre-wash phase or wash phase.
- the spin phase precedes pre-rinse at a maximum speed in the range of 500 to 1000 rpm.
- a sufficient removal of dirty water is achieved from the wipes, which can not develop too strong foaming.
- the spin phase before prewashing has a duration in the range of 3 to 6 minutes.
- a considerably improved flushing effect is achieved in the subsequent pre-rinse phase only with very little time, so that even with very heavy pollution no additional rinsing phase, which takes much longer and requires additional water, can be saved.
- the bowl speed in the pre-rinse phase, the wash phase and the rinse phase is 20 to 45 rpm. This mechanical action is sufficient on the one hand for a good cleaning and on the other hand offers a very good protection for the wipes to be treated.
- the pre-rinsing phase and the washing phase are carried out with a lower water level than the rinsing phase. This is sufficient for dissolving stubborn dirt in the pre-rinse phase and removing debris in the wash phase.
- the water level is 45 to 60 mmWS for pre-rinsing and washing and 60 to 80 mmWS for rinsing, for a tub or for a drum with a capacity of 6 to 8 kg wipes to be cleaned.
- the quantity refers to the dry weight, when washing wet wipes or wet mops, the drum can take a higher weight.
- the duration of the pre-rinsing phase is about 6 minutes, the washing phase about 30 minutes, and the rinsing phase about 6 minutes.
- the washing phase is dependent on the selected temperature and the resulting heating time.
- the rinsing phase is followed by a further rinsing phase, which has a duration of approximately 6 minutes.
- a finishing agent for the reprocessing of wipes or mops is added to the water in the further rinsing phase, if desired.
- a finishing agent for the reprocessing of wipes or mops is added to the water in the further rinsing phase, if desired.
- Other treatment or care products can be easily added to the wipes in this way.
- the rinse phase or further rinse phase is followed by a spin cycle at a high speed in the range of 600 rpm to the maximum speed of the washing machine and a duration of 4 to 10 minutes, which causes dewatering of the rinsed wipes or mops. This is always necessary, for example, when no dripping wet, but only wet wipes are used again.
- the invention further relates to a washing machine having a housing and arranged therein, swingably attached tub in which a motor-driven drum is rotatably mounted, a water inlet valve, a drain device and a control device, with the motor, the water inlet valve and the drain device for performing of the above method or the listed embodiments are controllable.
- drainage device in this washing machine is a controllable drain valve or a controllable or at least on and off drainage pump used.
- the washing machine has input means for the control device with which the further pre-rinsing phase, the further rinsing phase and / or the spin phase can be switched on or off.
- the cleaning effect can be improved by adding another pre-rinse cycle or optimal adjustments of the treatment to the material of the wipes or mops are made in heavy soiling. So it is not necessary for a low-absorbent material to perform the final spin, since it can bind only very little water.
- Fig. 1 is a purely schematic representation of a washing machine 1, shown with a tub 2.
- the position and direction data refer to the operational installation position of the washing machine 1.
- a rotatably mounted and driven by an electric motor 13 drum 3 is arranged, which moves the wipes located in the tub 2 mops 8 or.
- the drum 3 is made in the present embodiment of stainless steel and provided with a plurality of openings for the flooding.
- the housing 4 has a loading opening 9, via which the interior of the drum 3 can be reached through the sealing sleeve 6.
- the loading opening 9 can be closed by means of the door 5.
- a radiator (not shown) is arranged in the lower region of the tub 2.
- an inlet valve 15 is sketched, which controls the entry of the water from the supply network.
- the Ein Hugheskasten 11 the water over the Connecting pipe 14 passed into the tub 2, wherein in the dispenser 11 entered detergent is flushed into the tub 2.
- a drain device 12 is arranged, which brings out the spent washing liquid or the rinse water 7 from the tub 2 to the drain line 16, which usually opens into a sewer.
- the control device 17 controls the water inlet 15, the activity of the drain device 12 and the drive motor 13, which is energized via the power unit or a frequency converter 18.
- Drum speed is shown in a diagram for the different phases of the program for cleaning and reconditioning wipes or mops.
- the duration in minutes is shown here by way of example on the time axis t.
- the program starts with a spin cycle PS. With the spin cycle PS and the drain device is activated (active), as in the diagram according to Fig. 3 shown.
- a spin speed is set at a maximum of about 800 rpm and a duration of about 4 minutes.
- the pre-rinse phase PRi follows.
- the drain device 12 is deactivated (idle) and it is water to a level of about 60 mmWs ( Fig. 4 ) are introduced into the tub 2.
- the drum 3 is reversely rotated in this phase PRi at a speed of about 40 rpm.
- the intermediate spin IS is carried out at a speed of about 450 for about 2 minutes, activating the drain device 12 whereby the liquor of the pre-rinse phase PRi is removed from the tub 2 ( Fig. 4 ).
- the washing phase WA is activated, in the tub 2 water is admitted to a level of about 60 mmWs, and the drain device 12 is deactivated, so no water drained and the drum 3 at a speed of about 40 u rotated reversing / min.
- the wash liquor 7 is heated to the temperature set by the user.
- an intermediate spin IS follows with a speed of about 650 rpm.
- the drain device 12 is activated, so that no or at least almost no wash liquor, as in Fig. 4 shown in the tub 2.
- another rinsing phase Ri2 is performed in the same manner as the rinsing phase Ri1 to improve the rinsing result.
- a means for impregnating the wiping cloths 8 can be added to the rinsing liquor in order to equip them for the desired use.
- the purge cycle Ri1 and the additional purge cycle Ri2 are performed with an increased water level, which in this example is 70 mmWS, which is for a tub with a capacity of about 6 to 8 kg dry textiles is appropriate.
- final spin FS in which the drain device is activated, whereby the liquid is removed from the tub.
- final spin FS has a duration of about 5 minutes and a maximum speed of 1400 rpm.
- the further rinse cycle can be deselected by the user, so that the program can only be carried out with one rinse cycle Ri1.
- the final spin FS joins this flush cycle Ri1. It is also possible to initially select another pre-rinse cycle (not shown) so that particularly strong and stubborn dirt can be released and removed.
