Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a washing machine with a lye container for holding washing liquid for treating laundry and a flooding device, the method comprising carrying out a washing program comprising a washing phase and at least one rinsing phase, the flooding device being activated at least during one of these phases, in the washing liquid from the lower region of the tub in the upper area, based on the operating position of the washing machine, is promoted (see DE-A 10 2008 055 643 )
- the laundry For washing laundry in a drum washing machine, the laundry is moved in the rotating drum, whereby the wetting of the laundry with the washing liquid and the washing mechanism are effected.
- there is water in the tub or in the drum wherein the dirt is flushed out by the movement of the laundry.
- Umflut Korean the washing liquid from the lower region of the tub or from the drainage channel in the upper region, so that the laundry located in the drum from above Be sprinkled washing liquid.
- a good mixing of the laundry with the washing liquid is achieved.
- dead volume good utilization of the water or the detergent is achieved.
- a method of operating a washing machine with a flooding device is known in which the flooding device is activated and deactivated in chronological order in order to determine the composition of the laundry load from the level rise after inactivation.
- the circulating pump always remains activated in the event of a defective circulating device.
- Umflutdüse or line unnecessarily loaded the pump or a blocked pump is unnecessarily switched active or energized.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a reliable operation of the circulating device in a simple manner.
- the essential advantage of the method according to the invention is that in a simple manner the circulating device is monitored for its proper function.
- the already existing sensor for detecting the liquid level in the tub is used for the monitoring.
- the method makes use of the fact that after activation of the circulating device, ie after switching on the circulating pump, the liquid level in the tub decreases after a fixed predetermined time by a predefined value. These values can be predetermined and can be set or monitored accordingly. If, after a predetermined time, no predetermined drop in the liquid level in the tub is established, then an error with regard to the circulating function is detected. The circulating pump is then switched off. As a further measure, a status message can be sent to the user via a non-functioning flooding device.
- the wash program can optionally be continued or terminated prematurely.
- a blocked bypass pump, a clogged line or a dirty filter, if present, can be a fault.
- the time of the level drop is measured starting from an upper limit value until reaching a lower limit value.
- This can be detected with a simple sensor with, for example, two switching stages or two sensors that signal only the presence of liquid, the correct function of the Umflut Marie. Timing is easily performed by a microprocessor of a controller that is also configured to run the wash program.
- the absolute level is not evaluated when the circulating device is switched on, but first a difference value is formed, which contains or indicates the difference between the first-time detected liquid level and the liquid level during the second detection.
- the control device can be specified in a simple manner as of when a defective circulating device should be detected without influencing or manipulating the absolute sensor values that are relevant for the washing process.
- the predetermined time is in the range between 10 and 120 seconds. This ensures that almost all measurement errors due to level fluctuations are largely eliminated.
- the predetermined time is in the range between 50 and 70 seconds. This is very reliable and quickly determines the function of the Umflut Anlagen.
- a detection phase at the beginning of the washing program in which the amount of laundry and the type of laundry is detected, is performed, wherein the lower limit is determined based on the detected amount of laundry and / or type of laundry.
- the wash program is continued after switching off the Umflut Anlagen, the Umflut Nurt Sket Sket Sket Sket Sket Sket
- the other parameters such as duration of the laundry movement and drum rotation are adjusted accordingly to achieve the washing effect as in active Umflut Sket Sket Sket Sket Sket
- the amount of liquid can be adjusted accordingly. For example, the amount of washing liquid is increased by an additional water inlet to achieve the desired washing effect and a gentle laundry treatment.
- the flooding device also remains inactive.
- the washing program is continued, the circulating device being inactive.
- the circulating device being inactive.
- the invention further relates to a washing machine with a tub for holding washing liquid for treating laundry, a horizontally rotatably mounted drum in the tub, a motor for rotating the drum, a radiator, a Umflut Road, a water inlet device, a sensor means for detecting the liquid level in the tub and control means for controlling the individual phases of the selected washing program.
- the control device is set up to activate or deactivate the flooding device as a function of the liquid level detected by the sensor means, as described above.
- the exact time evaluation is carried out by means of a microprocessor within the control device.
- the microprocessor is already present to perform the wash cycle or wash program, so that no additional design effort or no change, with the exception of programming, is necessary.
- Fig. 1 is a purely schematic representation of a washing machine 1, shown with a tub 2.
- the position and direction information refer to the operational installation position of the washing machine 1.
- a rotatably mounted and driven by an electric motor 13 drum 3 is arranged, which moves the laundry items located in the tub 2 8.
- the drum 3 is in the present Embodiment made of stainless steel and provided with a variety of openings for the flooding.
- the housing 4 has a loading opening 9, via which the interior of the drum 3 can be reached through the sealing sleeve 6.
- the loading opening 9 can be closed by means of a door 5.
- a radiator 7 is arranged, which can heat the washing liquid in the tub 2.
- the heating of the washing liquid can also be done with a flat radiator, a water heater or a pump that has an integrated radiator.
- an inlet valve 15 is sketched, which provides the running in of the water from the supply network. About the Ein Hugheskasten 11, the water is passed through the connecting pipe 14 into the tub 2, wherein in the dispenser 11 entered detergent is flushed into the tub 2.
- a drain device 12 is arranged, which leads the spent washing liquid or the rinse water from the tub 2 to the drain line 12c, which usually opens into a sewer.
- the control device 18 controls the inlet valve 15, the activity of the drain device 12, the drive motor 13, which is energized via the power unit or a frequency converter 16, and the radiator 7.
- the pump 17a In the lower part of the tub 2, based on the operational installation position of the washing machine 1, is the pump 17a attached to a flooding device.
- the pump 17a is connected to the drain pipe 12b on the inlet side and suction side, respectively, and can convey the washing liquid 19 therein through the pipe 17b into the upper portion of the tub 2 and the drum 3, respectively.
- the washing liquid 19 is injected or flows onto the laundry items 8 through the nozzle or the outlet 17c.
- a complete sequence of a washing program WP is shown in a diagram.
- the individual phases within the wash program WP are shown on the time axis t.
- the program sequence WP shown here comprises a washing phase Wa, a rinsing phase Sp and a spinning phase Sc.
- the radiator 7 and the Umflut Sk are controlled accordingly to heat the washing liquid 19 to the predetermined temperature.
- the laundry item is recorded during the acquisition phase ER.
- water is introduced via the flushing device or the dispenser 11, whereby the processing agent stored therein, such as washing powder, is introduced through the connecting tube 14 into the tub 2.
- the flushing section Sp in which fresh water is introduced into the tub 2 and the items of laundry 8 are moved therein.
- the rinse water is pumped out, followed by the final spin Sc for dewatering the laundry items 8.
- the drum 3 is rotated at a higher speed compared to the washing process, in which the laundry items 8 abut the drum shell and the water or the washing liquid 19 is thrown out of the fabric through the drum openings due to the centrifugal force.
- the drain device 12 is activated in this case, so that the liquid is removed from the tub 2.
- Fig. 3a and 3b the control of the circulating device 17 is shown, if no malfunction is present.
- the time points on the time axis t are given here only symbolically, in the real process, these markings correspond to a time unit.
- the activity of the water inlet device 15 and the drum rotation are not taken into account, since it is of minor importance for the explanation of the method according to the invention.
- the flooding device 17 is switched off, so that the level rises starting from the value Min.
- the washing liquid 19 or water leaving the moistened laundry causes the increase in the level in the tub 2.
- the washing liquid 19 has reached the upper limit limit, so that the circulating device 17 is switched on ( Fig. 3a ).
- the circulating device 17 or the pump can also be operated continuously when the pumping capacity is dimensioned so that there is always enough washing liquid to circulate. The liquid level is then in the lower range Low.
- Fig. 4a and 4b is the activation of the Umflut Nur and the behavior of the liquid level at defective Umflut Nur 17 schematically outlined in a timely representation.
- water is introduced into the tub 2 until the level at time 2 has reached the upper limit limit. This level is detected by the controller 18 before the circulating pump 17a is turned on.
- the flooding device 17 is activated by the control device 18, the circulating pump 17a turns on.
- the liquid level is detected again at the time F3. It can be seen here that the predetermined second value Low has not been reached, so that from the time F3 the circulating device is switched inactive or the control device 18 switches off the circulating pump 17a.
- the washing machine 1 further comprises an output means to alert the user to a non-functioning flooding device 17. This can be done by means of an acoustic output, a light source or a display.
- the difference delta is formed from the first detected value limit and the second detected value. If this difference value delta falls below a predetermined value, then this is judged as a non-functioning or insufficiently functioning flooding device 17.
