Abstract

Description

In Figur 1 ist auf der linken Seite eine Walzhalle 1 in Walzrichtung und auf der rechten Seite eine Walzenwerkstatt 2 dargestellt. Beide Bereiche sind durch eine Wand 3 getrennt. In einem Walzgerüst 4 sind eine obere und eine untere Stützwalze 5, 6 sowie eine obere und eine untere Arbeitswalze 7, 8 angeordnet. Zum Transport aus dem Walzgerüst 4 in der Walzhalle 2 in die Walzenwerkstatt 2, um beispielsweise die Walzen nachzuschleifen, wird eine Lokomotive 9 verwendet. Diese befindet sich in einer Grube 10, die die Walzhalle 1 und die Walzenwerkstatt 2 verbindet. Sämtliche Vorrichtungen wie Schienen usw. sind auf einem Fundament bzw. mehreren Fundamenten11 aufgebaut. Die Lokomotive 9 kann somit aus einer Warteposition 12 am rechten Ende der Grube 10 zum Walzgerüst 4 hin bewegt werden. In der Figur 1 a ist im Querschnitt dargestellt, wie die Lokomotive 9 in der Grube 10 angeordnet ist. Wie ersichtlich, ist die Grube 10 in einen unteren schmalen Bereich 16 und einen oberen breiten Bereich 17 unterteilt. Der untere schmale Bereich 16 ist nur unwesentlich breiter wir die Lokomotive 9. Der obere breite Bereich 17 weist an seinen beiden Rändern 18, 19 Plattformen 20 auf. Diese sind beim Herausziehen bzw. Transport der Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 heruntergeklappt und weisen an ihrer Oberseite Führungsschienen 21 auf, auf denen die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 bewegt werden kann. Die Plattformen 20 weisen einen Abstand auf, der eine an der Lokomotive 9 an der Oberseite 13 angebrachte Kuppelvorrichtung 14 ein durchfahren ermöglicht. Zum Transportieren des im Durchmesser größeren Stützwalzensatzes 5, 6 werden die Plattformen 20 hochgeklappt und somit die Durchfahrt verbreitert. Weiterhin ist dargestellt, wie sich die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 in der Walzhalle 1 neben dem Walzgerüst 4 zum Weitertransport befinden. Die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 sind über eine Schubstange 15 mit der Lokomotive 9 verbunden und werden mit dieser aus dem Walzgerüst 4 gezogen.In FIG. 1 On the left side a rolling hall 1 in the rolling direction and on the right side a roller workshop 2 is shown. The platforms 20 have a distance that allows a mounted on the locomotive 9 at the top 13 coupling device 14 a pass through. For transporting the larger diameter support roll set 5, 6, the platforms 20 are folded up, thus widening the passage. Nachdem der Walzenwechselstuhl 25 zwischen die Stützwalzen 5, 6 angeordnet ist, wird diese komplette Einheit mittels der Lokomotive aus dem Walzgerüst 4 gezogen. Bei einem Zwischenstopp wird die Schubstange 15 ausgebaut. Die Lokomotive 9 zieht die komplette Einheit in die Walzenwerkstatt 2, wie in Figur 4 zu sehen. Dabei sind die Plattformen 20 entlang dem rechten und dem linken Rand der Grube 10 hochgeklappt, um einen Freiraum für die oben erwähnte Einheit aus Stützwalzen 5, 6 und Walzenwechselstuhl 25 sowie Lokomotive 9 zu haben. In Figur 4a sind die hochgeklappten Plattformen 20 im Querschnitt zu sehen, mit Blick auf das Walzgerüst 4 (nicht dargestellt). Auf der linken Seite, also in der Walzhalle 1, ist dargestellt, wie die Lokomotive 9 mit den noch im Walzgerüst 4 befindlichen Stützwalzen 5, 6 gekoppelt wird. Auf der rechten Seite, also in der Walzenwerkstatt 2, ist zu sehen, wie sich die gleiche Lokomotive 9 mit den angekoppelten Stützwalzen 5, 6 und dem Walzenwechselstuhl 25 bereits in einer rechten Parkposition befinden. Es handelt sich in dieser Figur nur um eine Lokomotive 9, die aber an zwei Orten befindlich dargestellt ist. In der Walzhalle 1 befindet sich zwischen einer linken Plattform 20 und einer rechten Plattform 20 eine Lücke. Diese Lücke bildet einem Freiraum für eine Verschiebeplattform 23. Mit einer derartigen Verschiebeplattform 23 wird der Raum über der Walzenwechselgrube 10 überspannt und es können sowohl die verbrauchten Arbeitswalzen als auch ein neuer Arbeitswalzensatz in der Walzhalle 1, in oder entgegen der Walzrichtung, verschoben werden. Dieser Vorgang wird auch als Side-Shifting bezeichnet. Ein Ausführung dieser Art bedeutet, dass die Handhabung der Arbeitswalzen beim Tauschen in der Walzhalle erfolgt.The locomotive 9 pulls the complete unit in the roller workshop 2, as in FIG. 4 to see. In Figur 5 ist eine Ausbildung dargestellt, bei der die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 direkt in die Walzenwerkstatt 2 gezogen werden. Wie ersichtlich, werden dazu die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8 in die Stützkonstruktion 26 verfahren. Durch einen auf der Stützkonstruktion 26 in oder entgegen der Walzrichtung verfahrbaren Wechselwagen 31 erfolgt der Austausch von gebrauchten und neuen Arbeitswalzen. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung ist in der Walzhalle 1 kein Side-Shifting vorgesehen. Dargestellt ist, wie in Figur 4, eine Ausführung, bei der die Arbeitswalzen 7, 8, im Walzgerüst 4 befindlich, an die Lokomotive 9 angekuppelt werden (linke Seite). Auf der rechten Seite ist dargestellt, wie die gleiche Lokomotive 9 bereits in der Walzenwerkstatt 2 in ihrer Park- / Warteposition angekommen ist. Auch hier wird nur eine einzige Lokomotive 9 berücksichtigt.In FIG. 5 a training is shown in which the work rolls 7, 8 are pulled directly into the roll workshop 2. Figur 6 zeigt eine Ausführung, bei der die Stützwalzen 5, 6 mit der Lokomotive 9 aus dem Gerüst 4 gezogen werden. Auf der rechten Seite befinden sich die Stützwalzen 5, 6 bereits in der Walzenwerkstatt 2. Da in der Walzhalle 1 keine Verschiebplattform 23 vorhanden ist 8 (zum Austausch der Arbeitswalzen) befindet sich in der Walzenwerkstatt 2 die Stützkonstruktion 26 mit dem darauf verfahrbaren Wechselwagen 31. In einen freien Bereich, der sich oberhalb der Walzenwechselgrube 10 befindet, ist keine Stützkonstruktion 26 aufgebaut und ermöglicht es, dass die Lokomotive 9 die Stützwalzen 5, 6 mit dem Walzenwechselstuhl 25 zwischen einen linken Teil und einen rechten Teil der Stützkonstruktion 26 in der Walzenwerkstatt 2 transportiert und für die weitere Handhabung positioniert. Die Stützwalzen 5, 6 werden beispielsweise nachgeschliffen und müssen dazu in der Walzenwerkstatt 2 auseinander gebaut und zu bestimmten Bearbeitungsmaschinen verbracht werden. In der Walzhalle 1 sind beim Ausziehen der Stützwalzen 5, 6 sämtliche Plattformen 20 nach oben geklappt, wie in Figur 6a im Querschnitt zu sehen. Claims (10)

  1. Roll change pit (10) connecting a rolling mill shed (1) with a roll workshop (2), wherein a roll stand (4) with working and backing rolls (5, 6, 7, 8) is arranged in the rolling mill shed (1) and wherein a locomotive (9) is movable in the roll change pit (10) in axial direction of the working and backing rolls for transporting used backing rolls (5, 6) or working rolls (7, 8) from the roll stand (4) to the roll workshop (2) or for transporting new backing rolls or working rolls from the roll workshop (2) to the roll stand (4), characterised in that the roll change pit (10) has at its two edges (18, 19) and in the upper wide region (17) platforms (20) which are folded down during transport of the working rolls (7, 8) and folded up during transport of the backing rolls (5, 6) and that the platforms (20) have guide rails (21) and a spacing at their upper side.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the locomotive (9) has a coupling device (14) at the upper side (13) thereof, wherein the spacing between the platforms (20) enables passage of the coupling device (14) between the platforms (20).
  3. Roll change pit according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the roll change pit (10) is subdivided into a lower narrow region (16) and the upper wide region (17) and that the lower narrow region (16) is formed to be only insubstantially wider than the locomotive (9).
  4. Roll change pit according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the platforms (20) are constructed as welded steel constructions and for acceptance of load are supported laterally at a foundation (11).
  5. Roll change pit according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the coupling device (14) is constructed as a bayonet connector.
  6. Method of changing a working roll set (7, 8) in a roll stand (4), such as a roughing stand or finishing stand for rolling of heavy plate, comprising the following steps:
    placing the used working rolls of the working roll set (7, 8) one on the other and subsequently moving the used working roll set (7, 8) in axial direction of the working rolls on the control side of the roll stand (4) out of a rolling mill shed (1) and into a roll workshop with the help of a locomotive, which is moved in a roll change pit connecting the rolling mill shed (1) with the roll workshop,
    characterised in that for the movement out of the used working roll set (7, 8) platforms (20) having guide rails (21) at the upper side thereof are folded down at the upper edge of the roll change pit (10) and that the used working roll set (7, 8) is connected with the locomotive (9) by way of a push rod (15) and is drawn out of the roll stand (4) by way of the guide rails (21).
  7. Method according to claim 6, characterised in that the push rod (15) is coupled to a coupling device (14) at the upper side (13) of the locomotive (9).
  8. Method according to claim 6, characterised by movement of a new working roll set out of the roll workshop (2) and into the roll stand (4) with the help of the locomotive (9) by way of the guide rails (21) and installing the new working roll set in the roll stand (4).
  9. Method of changing a backing roll set in a roll stand (4), such as a roughing stand or finishing stand for rolling of heavy plate, comprising the following steps:
    pushing a roll change chair (25) by means of a locomotive (9) and a push rod (15) between the used lower backing rolls (5) and the used upper backing rolls (6) and transporting the used backing roll set in axial direction of the backing rolls on the control side of the roll stand (4) out of a rolling mill shed (1) and into a roll workshop (2) by means of the locomotive (9), which is moved in a roll change pit (10) connecting the rolling mill shed (1) with the roll workshop (2),
    characterised in that the roll change chair (25) is pushed into the roll stand (4) on platforms (20) folded down at the upper edge of the roll change pit (10), that the platforms (20) are folded up for transporting the used backing roll set out of the roll stand (4) and into the roll workshop (2) and that the backing rolls together with the roll change chair (25) arranged therebetween are drawn as a complete unit by the locomotive (9) into the roll workshop.
  10. Method according to claim 9, characterised by movement of a new backing roll set with the help of the locomotive (9) out of the roll workshop (2) and into the roll stand (4) and installing the new backing roll set in the roll stand (4).
