Claims (11)

  1. Method for exchanging working roll pairs (2) and/or backing roll pairs (3) at roll stands, in which - for the chocks guided in support planes - a slider drive moves, perpendicularly to the rolling direction, the working roll pair (2), which is mounted in the chocks, for demounting or for installation and the backing roll pair (3), which is supported on a roll change chair, is moved out or in by a slider drive, characterised in that the working roll pair (2) after coupling to the slider drive is moved out and decoupled, that thereafter the same slider drive is coupled to a roll change chair (11) moved in between the backing rolls and after supporting of the roll change chair and the upper backing roll (3a) on the lower backing roll (3b) is moved out or moved in again as a unit.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the roll change chair is pushed out of the roll stand from the drive side of the roll stand by the slider drive when the working rolls are demounted or is pulled back into the roll stand.
  3. Device for changing working roll pairs (2) and/or backing roll pairs (3) at roll stands, wherein the backing rolls and the working rolls are respectively guided in raisable or lowerable chocks in the housing frame, the working roll pair is movable out, supported on the chocks, by means of a slider drive and the backing roll pair is movable in and out by means of a lower backing roll, which is supported on a guide track and wheels, and a roll change chair (11) supported thereon with supported upper backing roll, characterised in that the working roll pair (2) on the drive side (12) of the roll stand (1) can be coupled with a hydraulic piston-cylinder drive (7a) dimensioned in stroke length for the demounting or installing travel (13) and can be decoupled in the moved-out spacing (14) and that a roll change chair (11), which is moved in in the height position (15) between the backing rolls (3a, 3b), can be coupled to the same piston-cylinder drive (7a) and after supporting of the upper backing roll (3a) and the roll change chair (11) on the lower backing roll (3b) the backing roll pair (3) can be moved out or moved in again.
  4. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that the piston-cylinder drive (7a) is articulated to a displacing carriage (16) which has connecting arms (17a, 17b) oriented towards the roll ends (8).
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the piston-cylinder drive (7a) is arranged on the drive side (12) of the roll stand (1) and is articulated by its piston rod (7b) to the displacing carriage (16).
  6. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that respective tongs heads (18) are arranged at the connecting arms (17a, 17b) of the displacing carriage (16) and correspond with the roll ends (8) of the working rolls (2a, 2b).
  7. Device according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that respective shaped members (19) associated with the connecting arms (17a, 17b) are provided at the roll change chair (11).
  8. Device according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the tongs heads (18) are each hydraulically or electrically actuable.
  9. Device according to one of claims 3 to 8, characterised in that the roll change chair (11) is lowerable or raisable on the lower backing roll (3b) by means of hydraulic devices (6) present in the roll stand (1).
  10. Device according to one of claims 3 to 9, characterised in that the upper backing roll (3a) is hydraulically lowerable or raisable on the roll change chair (11).
  11. Device according to one of claims 4 to 10, characterised in that the roll set is movable out of the roll stand (1) from the two backing rolls (3a, 3b) by means of the displacing carriage (16) and is exchangeable for a new roll set.
