Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kontaktelement zur Anbindung der Abschirmung eines elektrischen Kabels an einen Steckverbinder.
- Ein derartiges Kontaktelement ist zur einfachen Kontaktierung der Abschirmung eines geschirmten Kabels an einen gegen elektrische Störsignale abzuschirmenden Steckverbinder erforderlich.
- Es sind eine beliebige Anzahl von Steckverbindern bekannt, bei denen das Abschirmgeflecht eines elektrischen Kabels oder Leiters mit einem abzuschirmenden Steckverbindergehäuse kontaktiert wird.
- Dabei sind unterschiedliche mechanische Vorrichtungen vorgeschlagen worden, so ist aus der
DE 41 37 355 C2 ein elektrischer Steckverbinder für abgeschirmte Kabel bekannt, bei dem für die elektrische Verbindung zwischen der Kabelabschirmung und dem Gehäuse ein elektrisch leitendes Elastomerteil vorgesehen ist. - Aus der
DE 90 15 056 U1 ist ein elektrischer Rundstecker in wasserdichter und hochfrequenzdichter Ausführung bekannt, bei dem die Kabelabschirmung auf einer elektrisch leitenden Schirmhülse aufliegt, wobei die Schirmung mittels eines umgebenden Dichtringes durch einen Klemmkorb beim Verschrauben mit einer Gewindehülse an die Schirmhülse angepresst wird. - Nachteilig wirkt sich dabei aus, dass überwiegend für die elektrische Kontaktierung ein zusätzliches Bauteil erforderlich ist, welches zudem vereinzelt geliefert, bei der Montage leicht vergessen wird oder verlierbar ist.

EP-A- 0 77 2259 offenbart eine Kombination, die sich von der des Anspruchs 1 unterscheidet in dem inEP-A-077 2259 das Kabelführungsteil leitend ist. - Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Kontaktierung für einen Steckerverbinder derartig zu gestalten, dass eine für den Anwender einfache Anbindung der Abschirmung an den Steckverbinder möglich ist, wobei das Kontaktelement unverlierbar mit dem Steckverbinder verbunden ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass in einem freigestellten Ausschnitt, angrenzend an einen Kragenbereich eines zylindrisch ausgebildeten und nichtleitenden Kabelführungsteiles ein abschnittsweise zu öffnendes, elektrisch leitendes Wandsegment vorgesehen ist.
- Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Ansprüchen 2-5 angegeben.
- Für die Datenübertragung von Signalen, die gegen äußere elektromagnetische Störeinflüsse geschützt werden müssen, sind entsprechend abzuschirmende Steckverbindungen unumgänglich.
- Für ein bereits länger produziertes Steckersystem mit Rundsteckern, ist daher eine auswechselbare Variante eines Spleißringes entwickelt worden, die ein einfaches Auflegen der Abschirmung eines elektrischen Kabels an einen derartigen Stecker ermöglicht.
- Dazu ist ein ansonsten unter dem Begriff "Spleißring" bekanntes Kabelführungsteil, dass innerhalb einer Steckerhülse angeordnet ist, mit einem seitlich ausklinkbaren Wandsegment versehen, wobei das Kabelführungsteil aus einem isolierenden Werkstoff gefertigt ist, während das Wandsegment aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material besteht und vorteilhaft mit dem Kabelführungsteil verrastbar ist.
- Das Wandsegment ist etwa halbkreisförmig, entsprechend dem hülsenförmigen Kabelführungsteil geformt, mit einem Kipphebel versehen, der in das Innere des Kabelführungsteiles einfügbar ist, dort verrastet, jedoch vorteilhafterweise eine nach außen vorzunehmende Kippbewegung ermöglicht. Damit ist weiterhin von Vorteil, dass durch das ausklinkbare Wandsegment ein trichterförmiger Durchlass gebildet wird, der das Einfädeln eines elektrischen Kabels erleichtert.
- Nach dem Einfädeln der elektrischen Leiter in entsprechende Leiterkanäle im Kabelführungsteil wird das Wandsegment wiederum eingeklinkt und bildet eine in die Steckerhülse einschiebbare Einheit.
- Weiterhin sind im Bereich des Kragens in das Zentrum des zylindrischen Körpers des Kabelführungsteiles weisende, verrundete Rippen eingeformt. Wobei eine Rippe aus dem nichtelektrisch leitenden Teil des Kabelführungsteiles und mindestens eine gegenüberliegend vorgesehene Ausbuchtung in dem elektrisch leitenden Wandsegment angeformt ist.
- Mittels der elektrisch leitenden, aus den beiden Rippen gebildeten Ausbuchtung wird das über die Kabelabschirmung gelieferte Massesignal an die ebenfalls elektrisch leitende umgebende Steckerhülse weitergeleitet.
- Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

- Die
Fig. 1 zeigt einen Steckverbinder 7 in einer teilweise auseinander gezogenen Darstellung mit einem elektrischen Kabel 6, einer darauf aufgeschobenen Überwurfmutter 5, einem Dichteinsatz 4 und einem Kabelführungsteil 1, das auch als Spleißring bezeichnet wird, sowie einem Steckkontakteinsatz 3 in dem hier nicht gezeigte elektrische Kontakte angeordnet sind. - Das Kabelführungsteil 1 weist in seinem Inneren mehrere speziell geformte Durchführungsöffnungen 13 auf, in die jeweils ein elektrischer Einzelleiter einzufädeln ist, der wiederum von einem elektrischen Kontakt kontaktiert wird.
- Weiterhin ist dem Kabelführungsteil 1 ein als Wandsegment 2 ausgebildetes Kontaktelement zugeordnet, dass einen freigestellten Halbkreis des Kabelführungsteiles einnimmt und um eine spitzwinklige Kante 29 in dem Winkelbereich des freigestellten Ausschnittes im Kabelführungsteil radial nach außen gekippt werden kann.
- Zum Öffnen des Wandsegmentes ist ein von der spitzwinkligen Kante 29 ausgebildetes sphärisches Zweieck 28 mit einem Keilwinkel von 30° erforderlich, wobei das Wandsegment mittels eines in das Kabelführungsteil 1 eingefügten Kipphebels 24 drehbar gelagert ist.
- Die
Fig. 2 zeigt das Anschlusselement 1 in einer perspektivischen Ansicht, wobei ein Teil der inneren Struktur erkennbar ist. - Das insgesamt als Rundkörper geformte Anschlusselement 1 weist in dem hier oberen Teil einen Kragen auf, wobei die eine Kragenhälfte 10 aus dem Anschlusselement 1 heraus geformt ist, während die zweite Kragenhälfte 20, aus dem metallischen Wandsegment 2 gebildet wird.
- Dabei ist das Wandsegment im Bereich des Kragens 20 identisch zum Kragen des Anschlusselementes geformt, so dass wieder eine Kreisform gebildet ist, in der wiederum zwei Nuten 11, 21 vorgesehen sind, in die jeweils ein Rastvorsprung 41 des auf den Kragen aufsetzbaren Dichteinsatzes 4 einsetzbar ist.
- Im Inneren des Rundkörpers ist an jeder der beiden Körperhälften mindestens eine in den Innenraum weisende rundgeformte Rippe 14, 21 vorgesehen, wobei hier zwei Rippen 22 vorgesehen sind, zu der die gegenüberliegende Rippe 14 symmetrisch angeordnet ist.
- Insgesamt zeigt die innere Struktur eine etwa rechteckig gebildete Kabelöffnung 12 mit einigen Durchführungsöffnungen 13.
- Innerhalb der Kabelöffnung 12 sind hier zwei Durchführungsöffnungen 13 vorgesehen, in die jeweils ein elektrischer Einzelleiter 61 einzufädeln ist, während die abisolierte Kabelschirmung in die Kabelöffnung 12 eingesetzt wird und mittels der beiden Rippen 14, 22 fixiert wird, wie dies in der
Fig. 3 , die noch ein aufgeklapptes Wandsegment zeigt, erkennbar ist. - In der
Fig. 4 ist eine perspektivische Ansicht des Kabelführungsteiles 1 mit dem Wandsegment 2 im geschlossenen Zustand dargestellt, wobei das Kabelführungsteil einen etwa mittigen Längsschnitt aufweist, so dass die Funktion des Kipphebels 24 ersichtlich wird. - Im Kabelführungsteil 1 ist eine durchgehende Rechtecköffnung 16 vorgesehen, in die das Wandsegment 2 mit dem Kipphebel 24 eingesetzt wird.
- Dabei sind zunächst zur Führung des Kipphebels in der Vertikalen, zwei Rastkanten 26 am Kipphebel 24, angeformt, die an zwei Rastkanten 18 in der Rechtecköffnung 16 entlang gleiten.
- Entsprechend eingeschoben, verrastet der Kipphebel mit einem Absatz 25 hinter einer Rastschulter 17 in der Rechtecköffnung 16.
- Wenn das geschlossene Wandsegment 2, wie in der
Fig. 5 gezeigt, radial nach außen gezogen oder gedrückt wird, kippt der in der Rechtecköffnung 16 befindliche Kipphebel 24 über die spitzwinklige Kante 29 innerhalb eines Freiraumes 19 im Kabelführungsteil 1. - Dabei springt die Rastkante 26 am Kipphebel über die Rastkante 18 in der Rechtecköffnung 16, wobei das Wandsegment 2 in einer beliebigen Stellung zwischen 0° und 30° zwar frei beweglich, jedoch im Kabelführungsteil gehalten wird.
- In diesem geöffneten Zustand des Wandsegmentes 2 ist eine leichte Montage des elektrischen Kabels 6 möglich.
- Bei der Montage eines elektrischen Kabels mit dem Steckverbinder wird zunächst die Überwurfmutter 5 und dann der Dichteinsatz 4 auf das Kabelende des elektrischen Kabels 6 aufgeschoben. Dann werden die Leitungen der elektrischen Einzelleiter 61 sowie ein Teilbereich der Abschirmung 62 freigelegt.
- Anschließend werden die elektrischen Einzelleiter 61 in die entsprechenden Durchführungsöffnungen 13 im Kabelführungsteil 1 eingefädelt, bis die Abschirmung im Bereich der Kabelöffnung 12 zwischen den Rippen 14 und 22 positioniert ist.
- Anschließend wird das Wandsegment 2 geschlossen und der Dichteinsatz 4 mit dem Kabelführungsteil 1 zusammengefügt, wobei ein jeweils gegenüberliegend angeformter Rastvorsprung 41 in der Arretiernut 11, 21 verrastet, und das Kabelführungsteil mit dem Dichteinsatz eine Einheit werden.
- Nach dem Entfernen der aus den Durchführungsöffnungen 13 des Kabelführungsteiles überstehenden Aderenden wird diese verbundene Einheit in den Steckkontakteinsatz 3 eingeschoben und mittels der Überwurfmutter 5 verschraubt. Dabei werden die elektrischen Einzelleiter in entsprechenden Schneidklemmkontakten innerhalb des Steckkontakteinsatzes eingepresst und die elektrische Anbindung der Kabelschirmung an den metallischen Steckkontakteinsatz 3 über das metallische Wandsegment 2 und die Druckschraube 5 an einen Gegenstecker vollzogen.
Claims (5)
- Kombination eines Kabelführungsteiles und eines Kontaktelementes zur Anbindung der Abschirmung eines elektrischen Kabels an einen Steckverbinder (7), wobei das Kontaktelement als in einem freigestellten Ausschnitt, angrenzend an einen Kragenbereich (10) des zylindrisch ausgebildeten und nichtleitenden Kabelführungsteiles (1) abschnittsweise zu öffnendes, elektrisch leitendes Wandsegment (2) vorgesehen ist.
- Kombination nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem Wandsegment (2) ein Kipphebel (24) angeformt ist, der in eine entsprechende Öffnung (16) im Kabelführungsteil (1) einfügbar ist, wobei das Wandsegment (2) radial abkippbar, über eine imaginäre Drehachse (29) nach außen zu öffnen ist.
- Kombination nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem Wandsegment (2) an der zum Kabelführungsteil (1) angrenzenden Fläche, eine Schräge (23) vorgesehen ist.
- Kombination nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass der Kipphebel (24) des Wandsegmentes (2) mittels einer in der Öffnung (16) des Kabelführungsteiles (1) angeordneten Rastschulter (17) arretierbar ist. - Kombination nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass in den Innenraum (12) des Kabelführungsteiles (1) weisende Rippen (14, 22) zur Fixierung und Kontaktierung der Abschirmung (62) des elektrischen Kabels (6) vorgesehen sind, wobei eine Rippe (14) am Kabelführungsteil (1) und mindestens eine Rippe (22) am Wandsegment (2) angeformt ist.
