Definitions

  • the invention relates to an at least two-layer label for tearing and reclosing of flexible packaging with pre-cut opening and its use.
  • Such packages contain, for example, oil or emulsion-impregnated wet wipes.
  • Technical labels are used in many areas for high-quality applications, such as nameplates for vehicles, machinery, electrical and electronic equipment, as process control labels, as warranty and inspection labels and as closure labels.
  • a lid which forms the later opening hole, perforated.
  • the wet wipes can be removed through the opening hole.
  • the hole is pasted over with the label, and at the first opening, the perforation of the lid is torn, that is, the piece of film forming the lid adheres to the underside of the label.
  • the labels usually have a grip tab which is either adhesive-free or whose adhesive has been neutralized.
  • a grip tab which is either adhesive-free or whose adhesive has been neutralized.
  • most of these labels have a sweeping punch that results in some resistance arises when you have opened the label up to there. The resistance indicates that you should not move on.
  • Another way to prevent the label from being completely peeled off is to use two different adhesives: removable in the area where the label is to be peeled from the packaging film (opening the package), permanently on the hinge, to the fullest Prevent detachment.
  • Zone 1 non-sticky Zone 2 removable
  • Adhesive zone 3 permanent
  • EP 0 331 027 A1 discloses a resealable dispensing container for oil-soaked wet wipes, which consists of a container and a key part.
  • the container should be sealed with a single-layer label.
  • the closure of the container by means of the label is unsatisfactory. On the one hand, this type of closure is not so dense as to preclude the ingress of dirt or dust into the container, on the other hand, the label is already visually unappealing, especially if the adhesive strength on the container wears off.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a label which is easy to open and yet securely adhered to the substrate, in particular the packaging and which in particular - unlike the known labels - is largely resistant to oil that can escape from wet wipes, which are located within a package that is reversibly closed with the label according to the invention.
  • the different adhesive forces can be achieved by making the first adhesive coating more adhesive than the second adhesive coating. In this case it is necessary to ensure that between cut-out and cover label, as required, a sufficiently high bond strength is set to be able to remove the cutout from the base label during the opening process.
  • the label is preferably used on pre-cut flexible packages such as tubular bags containing oil-soaked wipes (known as baby or make-up wipes).
  • tubular bags containing oil-soaked wipes known as baby or make-up wipes.
  • a lid is present, which is so connected to the tubular bag that this cover while easily solvable, but on the other hand is air and waterproof. After removal of the lid, an opening is formed in the bag through which the wipes can be removed.
  • the label according to the invention is then adhesively bonded to the packaging by first removing the optionally present release paper from the first adhesive coating and then firmly adhering the label or the base label to the packaging by means of the first adhesive coating.
  • the existing in the basic label cutout is as congruent above the lid in the package. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, therefore, the cutout in the base label has a larger area than the lid or the opening in the packaging. In practice, it has been found that in particular a projecting edge of the section of 2 mm width provides excellent results.
  • the cover label has a larger area than the base label, wherein in particular a portion of the cover label extends over an edge of the base label. In this case, in the manufacture of the label, this portion may be punched out of the base label and removed before assembling the base label and the cover label.
  • the section in which the cover label projects beyond the basic label leads to a direct adhesion of the cover label to the packaging. In this way, a hinge forms, up to which the cover label can be removed.
  • further parts in the base label can be separated by punching or other techniques, such as longitudinal or transverse cutting, before the base label and the cover label are joined together.
  • At least one further, in particular provided in the edge region of the base label section is present in which the bond strength between the cover label and base label is increased.
  • a removable, low adhesive adhesive is used in the area in which the cover label is to be removed (when opening the package).
  • a higher adhesive adhesive is used to prevent the complete removal of the cover label.
  • the adhesive forces of parts of the adhesive coating may be reduced, for example by irradiation, powdering or partial neutralization.
  • the cover label whose surface is preferably made congruent with the base label, is glued to the base label by means of the second adhesive layer.
  • the top of the base label is abhesive except for the surface of the cutout. At least one is preferred on the upper side of the basic label other, notably abhesiv provided in particular in the edge region of the basic label section.
  • the abhesive finish of the base label is preferably siliconized. Another possibility is to apply a lacquer or primer which produces an abhesive action. So then the surface of the base label can be changed by irradiation or chemical treatment such as etching, so that sets an abhesive effect.
  • the detachment of the cover label from the base label during the opening process of the label is facilitated.
  • the bond between base label and cover label is stronger in the non-abhesive portion, so that complete peeling of the cover label from the base label is not observed.
  • a surface is free of adhesives or the bond strength is reduced.
  • This area then serves as a handle to peel off the cover label.
  • This handle is preferably arranged so that it lies on an edge which is opposite to the non-abhesive equipped section in the base label.
  • Another way to make a handle is to cover the adhesive forming the surface by a release paper, so that the adhesive can have no effect.
  • the adhesive in this area can also be neutralized, for example by printing or powdering.
  • the cover label can simply be peeled off, up to the section of the basic label which is not equipped with an adhesive. In this area, the bond strength between the cover label and the base label is so great that separation is only possible by force. Furthermore, the cover label can be reversibly applied to the basic label after removal of a cloth, the residual adhesive holds the cover label repeatedly in position.
  • the cover label has a weakening line in the region of the non-abhesive section of the base label, that is to say at the transition of the permanent connection to the detachable connection.
  • This line of weakness may be a perforation, possibly in the known and proven waveform. This reduces the restoring forces of the cover label, and the label does not fall back (at least not so easily), that is, the package remains open without the need for a hand to hold it open.
  • the cover label covers the cut-out in the base label and the lid provided in the packaging.
  • the cutout in the base label the upper side of which is preferably not abhesively fitted, virtually hangs on the cover label.
  • the lid of the package which is firmly connected by the first adhesive coating to the portion in the base label, is released from its connection with the package and releases the opening.
  • the opening process can be continued until the preferred existing weakening line is reached, at which the bonding of the detachable and the fixed version passes.
  • the top and bottom of the cover label may be printed but not necessarily.
  • the basic label can also be printed.
  • the label according to the invention In contrast to single-layer labels, where the bond strength must be a compromise between reclosure and opening, so that emerging from the packaging liquids such as oil significantly reduce the functionality of the already weak adhesive and thus the label, the label according to the invention, the oil only partially damage.
  • the glue that fixes the base label on the packaging develops sufficiently high weaving forces so that oil does not cause any significant reduction. There is no curvature of the label to watch.
  • three pages top and bottom of the cover label and top of the basic label are printable, that is, it is rather information available than before.
  • cover or base label papers or different films are available.
  • films in particular monoaxially and biaxially oriented films based on polyolefins, then films based on stretched polyethylene or stretched copolymers containing ethylene and / or polypropylene units, optionally also PVC films, PET films, films Base of vinyl polymers, polyamides, polyesters, polyacetals, polycarbonates
  • films based on stretched polyethylene or stretched copolymers containing ethylene and / or polypropylene units can be used according to the invention.
  • Monoaxially stretched polypropylene is characterized by its very high tensile strength and low elongation in the longitudinal direction.
  • Preferred for the production of labels according to the invention are monoaxially stretched films based on polypropylene.
  • the thicknesses of the monoaxially stretched films based on polypropylene are preferably between 20 and 100 ⁇ m, in particular between 25 and 65 ⁇ m, very particularly between 30 and 60 ⁇ m.
  • Monoaxially oriented films are predominantly single-layered, but in principle it is also possible to produce multilayer monoaxially stretched films. Are known predominantly one, two and three-layer films, the number of layers can also be chosen larger.
  • the thicknesses of the biaxially oriented films based on polypropylene are in particular between 12 and 100 ⁇ m, in particular between 20 and 75 ⁇ m, very particularly between 30 and 60 ⁇ m.
  • Biaxially oriented films based on polypropylene can be produced by blown film extrusion or by means of conventional flat film systems. Biaxially stretched films are produced in one or more layers. In the case of multilayer films, the thickness and composition of the different layers may be the same, but also different thicknesses and compositions are known.
  • the labels of the invention are monolayer, biaxially or monoaxially stretched films and multilayer, biaxial or monoaxial polypropylene-based films which have a sufficiently strong bond between the layers, since delamination of the layers during use is disadvantageous.
  • films based on rigid PVC are used for the production of labels as well as films based on soft PVC.
  • films are used based on rigid PVC.
  • the thicknesses of the films are preferably between 20 and 100 ⁇ m, in particular between 25 and 65 ⁇ m, very particularly between 30 and 60 ⁇ m.
  • Polyester-based films for example polyethylene terephthalate, are also known and can also be used to make the labels of the invention.
  • the thicknesses of the films based on PET are between 20 and 100 ⁇ m, in particular between 25 and 65 ⁇ m, very particularly between 30 and 60 ⁇ m.
  • the labels according to the invention may contain as adhesives an adhesive based on natural rubber, PUR, acrylates or styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymers.
  • the self-adhesive composition used is in particular a commercially available pressure-sensitive adhesive based on PUR, acrylate or rubber.
  • the label 1 consists of a base label 3, the underside of which is equipped with a first adhesive layer (not shown).
  • a cutout 31 is provided, whose connection with the rest of the basic label 3 is weakened.
  • the upper side is adhesive by silicone coating, wherein the cutout 31 and another, provided in the edge region of the base label 3 section 32 are not abhesive.
  • the cover label 2 (which is unfolded for the purpose of improved illustration) is equipped on the underside with a second adhesive layer (also not shown).
  • the cover label 2 whose surface is made congruent with the base label 3, is adhesively bonded by means of the second adhesive layer to the base label 3 at the points where the base label 3 is provided abhesively on its upper side.
  • the label 1 is adhered using the first adhesive coating on the basic label 3 on a tubular bag 4, wherein in the tubular bag 4, a lid 41st is present, which is so connected to the tubular bag 4, that this cover 41 while easily solvable, but on the other hand is air and waterproof.
  • a lid 41st is present in the tubular bag 4, which is so connected to the tubular bag 4, that this cover 41 while easily solvable, but on the other hand is air and waterproof.
  • the tubular bag 4 are, for example, oil-soaked wipes (known as baby or make-up wipes).
  • the present in the basic label 3 cutout 31 is congruent above the lid 41 in the tubular bag. 4
  • the cutout 31 has a slightly larger area than the lid 41.
  • a surface 21 is adhesive-free at an edge region. This surface 21 then serves as a handle for removing the cover label. 2
  • the cover label 2 can be easily removed, up to the section 32 of the base label 3 which is not abhesive equipped. In this area (22, 32), the bond between cover label 2 and base label 3 is so great that separation is only possible by force.
  • the cover label 2 has a weakening line 23, that is to say at the transition from the permanent connection to the detachable connection.
  • FIG. 2 is the separated label 1 according to section line AA FIG. 1 shown that has torn open the lid 41 of the tubular bag 4. Of the tubular bag 4, only the upper layer is shown.
  • the cover label 2 sweeps over the cutout 31 in the base label 3 as well as the cover 41 provided in the tubular bag 4.
  • the cutout 31 in the base label 3 the top of which is not abhesively fitted, virtually remains hanging on the cover label 2.
  • the lid 41 which is firmly connected by the first adhesive coating to the section 31 in the base label 3, is released from its connection and releases the opening in the tubular bag 4.
  • the holding points with which the cutout 31 is fixed in the base label 3 are severed, so that ultimately the cutout 31 from the base label 3 and the lid 41 are located under the cover label 2.
  • the opening process is continued until the line of weakness 23 is reached, at which the bond passes from the detachable and the fixed execution.
  • FIG. 3 is a split label 1 similar FIG. 2 shown.
  • the cover label 2 has a larger area than the base label 3, with a portion 25 of the cover label 2 extending over an edge of the base label 3.
  • the section 25, in which the cover label 2 projects beyond the base label 3 comes to a direct bonding of the cover label 2 on the tubular bag 4. In this way, a hinge is formed, up to which the cover label 2 can be deducted.
