Abstract

Selon la présente invention, ce roulement libre haute vitesse (1) est conçu sous la forme d'un roulement à billes libre compensant automatiquement des dilatations thermiques radiales des bagues de roulement (2, 3) dues au fonctionnement, lequel roulement à billes est pourvu de plusieurs rangées de billes juxtaposées (6, 7, 8, 9, 10). Lorsque ce roulement libre haute vitesse (1) est froid, les bagues de roulement (2, 3) sont en contact de support par l'intermédiaire d'une seule rangée de billes (8) du fait d'un mode de réalisation convexe de la surface de roulement (5) pour le corps de roulement (4) sur la bague de roulement interne (2), les autres rangées de billes (6, 7, 9, 10) entrant successivement dans une position de contact avec les deux bagues de roulement (2, 3) sous l'augmentation de la dilatation thermique et de la force centrifuge des deux bagues de roulement (2, 3) du fait d'une conception radialement flexible de ces deux bagues de roulement (2, 3), de sorte que, lorsque le roulement libre haute vitesse (1) a atteint sa température de service, lesdites bagues de roulement (2, 3) sont en contact de support par l'intermédiaire de toutes les rangées de billes (6, 7, 8, 9, 10).
