Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sofa bed, with a sliding seat part and a variable in its inclination back part, both of which are movably guided on a base frame and from a seat into a reclining position and vice versa, and have the corresponding coupling elements in the sitting position the seat - And connect the back part hinged together and cause a pivoting of the back part when moving the seat part, wherein the coupling elements can be decoupled by moving the seat part forward in the lying position.
  • Another disadvantage is that either when used as a bed or when used as a sofa, the piece of furniture does not offer optimum comfort.
  • Such a convertible sofa bed is for example from the patent US 5,153,951 known.
  • the convertible sofa bed described there has mutually hinged frame parts for a sliding seat part and a variable in its inclination back part.
  • the two frame parts both of which are movably guided on a base frame and can be transferred from a sitting position into a lying position and vice versa, are permanently connected to each other.
  • the back part at the lower end of a pivot axis and the seat part at its rear end on an elongated sliding guide as a receptacle for the pivot axis which are always in engagement with each other.
  • the back and the seat part corresponding coupling elements in the region of the pivot bearing, which lock in the sitting position, the seat part and the back part in a certain inclination to each other releasably lock.
  • the coupling element of the back part is designed as a pin and the seat part as a cam fitting with a hook-shaped pin trap, the pin can engage from above into the pin trap.
  • the locking or unlocking of the seat or back part via a combined rotary-sliding movement of the seat part relative to the back part. In the locked state, the seat and the back are pivotable together without changing the orientation relative to the base frame.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to propose a sofa bed for optional use as lying or seating furniture, which provides a quick and easy way to transform from bed to seat opportunity and vice versa and offers both in the use of bed and seating a high level of comfort.
  • the coupling element of the seat part is designed as a rear grip element and that of the back part as a hooking element, for example as a pin or roller, wherein the rear grip element in the sitting position engages with the hooking element and connects the seat part and the back part to one another in an articulated manner.
  • the rear handle member is rigidly attached to the seat part at a rear edge facing the rear edge and is open at the top and bottom.
  • the hooking element which can be coupled to the rear grip element is arranged on a lower edge of the back part in the sitting position.
  • the decoupling of the rear handle element and the hooking element is effected by lowering the rear edge of the seat part and / or by lifting the hooking element provided with the rear part, whereby the hooking element is moved continuously in the direction of an upper end of the rear handle member until it is disengaged.
  • the coupling of the Einhakelements with the rear handle member is carried out from above by lowering the Einhakelements of the back part with respect to the seat part or from below by lifting the Einhakelements of the back part with respect to the seat part to the hooking the back part is in rear grip with the rear grip element of the seat part.
  • the sofa bed according to the invention in which both the seat part and the back part of a sitting in a lying position and vice versa are transferred and the back is articulated by means of the coupling elements in the sitting position on the seat part, coupling elements, which after moving the seat part are completely decoupled to the front in the lying position.
  • the back part on a front side directed forward in the sitting position with a backrest adapted to the body shape and to form its opposite back side as a flat lying surface.
  • the back part can be manually folded, pivoted, and thereby turned, whereby the lying surface of the back part takes the place of the backrest and forms a flat horizontal lying surface with the seat part.
  • the sofa bed When coupled with the back part seat part, the sofa bed may have a gap between the back part and the seat part, which facilitates a change in the inclination of the back part and the seat part.
  • a gap width of the gap remains approximately constant during displacement of the seat part, as long as the seat part and the back part are coupled together.
  • the coupling element of the seat part is designed as a hook and the back part as Einhakelement, for example as a pin, wherein the hook is in the sitting position with the Einhakelement engaged and the seat part and the back part hinged together.
  • the hook is rigidly attached to the seat part at a rear edge facing rear edge and has an upwardly directed hooking hole.
  • the catchable element which can be coupled to the hook is arranged on a lower edge of the back part in the sitting position.
  • the sofa bed has a spring element which acts on a lower edge of the back part in the sitting position in the direction of the seat part. This has the effect that, in the sitting position, the hooking element is held in contact with the rear grip element.
  • the back part of the bed sofa also pivots when moving the seat part in the desired and above-described manner, when the back part is not coupled to the seat part.
  • the back part pivots when moving the seat part as if the two parts are coupled until the hooking element of the back part enters from below or from above into the rear grip element of the seat part and couples the two parts.
  • the spring element which may be, for example, a tension or compression spring in the form of a linear or tortuous torsion spring, a straight or wound spiral spring or a gas spring or the like, directs the back part during erection from the lying position in the sitting position so that the hooking element of the back part is opposite to the rear grip element of the seat part at a height that ensures coupling of the coupling elements when pushing back the seat part.
  • the sofa bed on a sliding guide for the seat part which leads the seat part of the seat in the lying position and vice versa displaceable, wherein an inclination of the seat part initially increases when transferring from the sitting to the lying position and then decreases again, so that the seat part in the lying position has a horizontal position.
  • an inclination of the seat part initially increases when transferring from the sitting to the lying position and then decreases again, so that the seat part in the lying position has a horizontal position.
  • the sofa bed - a locking device for the seat part, which secures the seat part in several seating positions against unintentional displacement.
  • the different seating positions are assigned to different inclinations of the seat part and / or the back part, whereby the sofa bed offers a high level of comfort for the user.
  • the locking device may be integrated in the sliding guide for the seat part or be formed separately therefrom. It has proven to be advantageous that the locking device is self-locking, which is to say that the seat part automatically locked when reaching the appropriate sitting position, and that the unlocking can be done easily and quickly, for example by lifting the front edge seat part.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides a sliding guide for the back, the back part of a seated in the sitting position
  • Base frame near lower end leads arcuately.
  • the back part is pivoted when moving the seat part, as long as the seat part is coupled to the back part, about a virtual pivot axis at an upper edge of the back part.
  • This has the advantage that the upper edge of the back does not or only slightly moves back and forth in a change in inclination.
  • the sofa bed does not have to be moved away from a wall when transferring from the sitting to the lying position if the sofa bed is not set up freely in the room.
  • the sliding guide for the back allows the rear part to be moved forwards in the direction of the seat part until the back part forms an approximately flat horizontal lying surface with the seat part.
  • the sliding guide allows for decoupled seat part pivoting the back of the back part forward and a nearly gap-free application of its upper edge to the rear edge of the seat part.
  • the seat part automatically couples with the back part when transferring from the lying position in the sitting position, whereby the conversion from sitting to reclining furniture is particularly fast, easy and comfortable.
  • the sliding guide of the back part it may be necessary to bring the lying in the lying position lying back part in an upright position previously.
  • the seat part on a support foot which is pivotally guided on the seat part and hingedly connected to the base frame.
