Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Drehrohr (1), insbesondere für einen Drehrohrofen zur Herstellung von Aktivkohle, wobei das Drehrohr (1) erfindungsgemäß an seiner Außenseite mit mindestens einem Verstärkungselement (8) zur Stabilisierung des Drehrohres (1) im Betriebszustand versehen ist. Hierdurch wird das unter Betriebsbedingungen hohen Temperaturen ausgesetzte und folglich leicht deformierbare Drehrohr (1), je nach Anordnung des Verstärkungselementes, in seinem Querschnitt und/oder in seiner Längsrichtung stabilisiert. Insbesondere wird das Drehrohr (1), beispielsweise bei dessen Verwendung zur Aktivkohleherstellung mit den damit einhergehenden hohen Betriebstemperaturen, mit einer effizienten Beständigkeit gegenüber verfahrensbedingt auftretenden starken Druckschwankungen ausgestattet und eignet sich somit insbesondere auch für die Durchführung von Prozessen unter reduziertem oder erhöhtem Druck.
