Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Golfputter, insbesondere einen Golfputter, der über eine optische Positioniervorrichtung verfügt, die es dem Golfspieler ermöglicht, seinen Kopf in Relation zum Ball und zur Schlagfläche des Golfputters korrekt auszurichten.
  • Das Bewegen des Golfballs über das Grün in das nur etwa 10cm im Durchmesser messende Loch ist eine der größten Herausforderungen des Golfspielens überhaupt. Insbesondere für Hobby-Golfspieler ist es daher sehr wichtig, eine Möglichkeit zu finden, sich selbst und insbesondere den Kopf relativ zum Golfputter, zu dessen Schlagfläche und zum Ball richtig auszurichten, um eine hohe Trefferquote zu erzielen.
  • Aus dem Stand der Technik sind bereits verschiedene Ausführungsformen von Golfputtern bekannt, die Zielvorrichtungen zum korrekten Ausrichten und zum Anvisieren des Balles aufweisen.
  • Beispielsweise ist aus der US 2003/0144075 A1 ein Schlägerkopf für einen Golfputter bekannt, der eine Zielvorrichtung aufweist. Der Schlägerkopf umfaßt dabei mehrere Peil- und Visualisierungselemente, beispielsweise mehrere parallele zur Deckung zu bringende Kanten, Sichtlinien für die Schlagrichtung und mehrere Triangulationselemente, um ein genaues Anpeilen des Loches und ein möglichst genaues Berechnen der Schlagrichtung zu ermöglichen.
  • Weiterhin ist aus der EP 0400 278 A1 ein Schlägerkopf für einen Golfputter bekannt, der eine Vorrichtung zum korrekten Zentrieren des Golfputters relativ zum Ball umfaßt. Auf dem Putterkopf ist eine Linie vorgesehen, die zum rechtwinkeligen Ausrichten der Schlagfläche des Schlägerkopfes relativ zum Golfball dient.
  • Auch aus der US 6,394,910 B1 ist ein Golfputter bekannt, der so ausgebildet ist, daß er dem Golfspieler das Ausrichten des Kopfes relativ zum Schlägerkopf und zum Ball ermöglicht. Die Peilvorrichtungen werden durch gut unterscheidbare, unterschiedlich gefärbte Oberflächen am Schlägerkopf bereitgestellt, die zwei zur Deckung kommende Linien für das Auge des Betrachters simulieren, obwohl keine direkt sichtbaren Markierungen existieren.
  • Nachteilig bei den bekannten Golfputtern ist insbesondere, daß einerseits die verschiedenen Ausrichtungsverfahren kompliziert sind und/oder die Zieleinrichtungen und -markierungen auf den Golfputtern unzureichend sind und dementsprechend die Trefferquote nicht besonders hoch ausfällt.
  • Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, einen Putterkopf vorzustellen, der eine einfache Möglichkeit für das korrekte Positionieren des Kopfes des Golfspielers relativ zum Golfball und zur Schlagfläche des Golfputters ermöglicht, um die Trefferquote beim Einlochen des Balls zu erhöhen.
  • Die Aufgabe wird durch einen Golfputter mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungsmöglichkeiten des erfindungsgemäßen Golfputter sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.
  • Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind in den Zeichnungen schematisch dargestellt und werden in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung erläutert. Es zeigen:

  • Fig. 1 zeigt in einer schematischen Darstellung eine Ansprechposition für einen erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Putterkopf 1 in Relation zu dem korrekt positionierten Kopf eines Golfspielers.
  • Das Vorgehen beim Putten umfaßt neben Betrachten der Balllage relativ zum Loch, von Unebenheiten (Breaks) des Grüns und einer Vorausberechnung der wahrscheinlichen Bewegungslinie des Golfballs 11, vor allem das korrekte Ausrichten des Golfspielers relativ zum Golfball 11. Dies wird als Ansprechhaltung bzw. Ansprechposition bezeichnet. Der Putterkopf 1 sollte so ausgerichtet werden können, daß bei Rechtshändern das linke Auge des Golferspielers bzw. bei Linkshändern das rechte Auge des Golferspielers in lotrecht über dem Golfball 11 positioniert ist.
  • Eine am Putterkopf 1 ausgebildete, optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 ist so konzipiert, daß nach dem Einnehmen der Ansprechhaltung und dem Fixieren einer ersten, auf dem Putterkopf 1 angebrachten Markierung 9 mit dem rechten Auge bei Rechtshändern bzw. mit dem linken Auge bei Linkshändern (bei jeweils geschlossenem andere Auge) der Kopf des Golfspielers so ausgerichtet ist, daß einerseits die erste Markierung 9 und eine zweite, ebenfalls auf dem Putterkopf 1 angebrachte Markierung 7, 12, 15 zur Deckung gebracht sind und anderseits bei Rechtshändern das linke Auge des Golferspielers bzw. bei Linkshändern das rechte Auge des Golferspielers direkt über dem Mittelpunkt des Golfballes 11 positioniert ist.
  • Die Berechnung der Abmessungen des erfindungsgemäßen Putterkopfes 1 geht von der Überlegung aus, daß der mittlere Augenabstand X beim Menschen bei ca. 66 ± 5mm liegt. Dadurch ist, wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich, auch eine Summe von Abständen zwischen einem Mittelpunkt 10 der Markierung 9 und einem Mittelpunkt 16 des Golfballs 11 auf diesen Wert festgelegt. Da der Golfball 11 einen definierten Durchmesser von 42mm hat, ist der Mittelpunkt 16 des Golfballes 11 idealerweise um einen Abstand R von 21 mm von einer Schlagfläche 4 des Putterkopfes 1 entfernt. Da jedoch der Golfball 11 in der Ansprechhaltung die Schlagfläche 4 nicht berühren darf, muß ein Abstand Y, der so klein wie möglich sein sollte, mit in die Berechnung einbezogen werden.
  • Gleichzeitig ist der Mittelpunkt 10 der Markierung 9 um einen Abstand A von der Schlagfläche 4 des Putterkopfes 1 entfernt. Eine Gesamtdistanz X zwischen dem Mittelpunkt 10 der Markierung 9 und dem Mittelpunkt 16 des Golfballes 11 ergibt sich demnach aus der Summe der Werte A, Y und R. Dieser Gesamtwert X entspricht wiederum dem durchschnittlichen Augenabstand beim Menschen von ca. 66 ± 5mm. Bei konstantem Radius R des Golfballs 11 und in Ansprechposition einer mittleren Entfernung Y des Golfballs 11 von der Schlagfläche 4 des Putterkopfes 1 von ca. 3 ± 2mm beträgt die Distanz A zwischen dem Mittelpunkt 10 der Markierung 9 und der Schlagfläche 4 demnach etwa 45 ± 5mm.
  • Der Abstand A wird dabei in kürzester Distanz (senkrecht zur Schlagfläche 4) gemessen. Dementsprechend kann eine erfindungsgemäße optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 zum korrekten Positionieren des Kopfes des Golferspielers über dem Putterkopf 1 und dem Golfball 11 unabhängig von der Form des Putterkopfes 1 festgelegt werden. Entsprechend den vorstehenden Ausführungen kann die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 in beliebige Putterköpfe 1 integriert werden.
  • Die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 weist dabei zumindest zwei Markierungen 9 sowie 7, 12,15 auf, die ungefähr gleich groß und identisch in der Form sind und in der Ansprechposition vertikal zueinander beabstandet sind. Durch den vertikalen Abstand der Markierungen 9 von einer der Markierungen 7, 12 oder 15 in Blickrichtung können diese durch einfaches Anvisieren miteinander zur Deckung gebracht werden, wie die in Fig. 2 für zwei kreisförmige Markierungen 9 und 12 für ein weiter unten dargestellte zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Putterkopfes 1 schematisch dargestellt ist.
  • Die mittlere Darstellung in Fig. 2 zeigt die korrekte Deckung der beiden Markierungen 9 und 12, so daß nur mehr die dem Auge des Golfspielers zugewandte Markierung 12 sichtbar ist, wogegen die vier um die mittlere Darstellung in Fig. 2 herum gruppierten Darstellungen den Anblick der optischen Positioniereinrichtung 6 bei Abweichungen von der korrekten Kopfposition des Golfspielers zeigen. Dabei ist jeweils ein Teil der vom Auge des Golfspielers weiter entfernten Markierung 9 neben der dem Auge des Golfspielers näherliegenden Markierung 12 sichtbar.
  • Dem Golfspieler bietet sich also durch die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 eine ebenso einfache wie effektive Möglichkeit, seine Kopfposition relativ zum Golfball 11 zu kontrollieren.
  • Im folgenden werden bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiele für erfindungsgemäße Putterköpfe 1 die in den Fig. 3 bis 5 schematisch dargestellt sind, erläutert.
  • Die Putterköpfe 1 sind aus beliebigem Material hergestellt und können insbesondere wie herkömmliche Putterköpfe ausgeführt und mit den erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen versehen sein.
  • Die Putterköpfe 1 sind in den Fig. 3 und 5 für Rechtshänder dargestellt. Die gezeigten Modelle können jedoch durch Umsetzen der Schaftaufnahme auch für Linkshänder konzipiert werden. Das Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 4 weist keine bevorzugte Orientierung auf, hier kann der Schaft beliebig angesetzt werden.
  • Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen in einer schematischen, perspektivischen Darstellung sowie in einer schematischen Aufsicht ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Putterkopfes 1. Der Putterkopf 1 ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel in Form eines sogenannten Mallet-Putters ausgebildet. Der Putterkopf 1 umfaßt eine Sohle 2, eine Deckfläche 3, eine Schlagfläche 4 und eine Aufnahme 5 für einen nicht weiter dargestellten Schaft des Golfputters. Die Aufnahme 5 ist in dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten ersten Ausführungsbeispiel als Ausnehmung ausgebildet, in die der Schaft eingesetzt werden kann. Die Schlagfläche 4 kann, wie in dem in Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellten ersten Ausführungsbeispiel gezeigt, eine materialkonsistente Oberfläche aufweisen oder beispielsweise einen sogenannten Inset aus verschiedenen Materialien zum Verbessern des Ballkontaktes umfassen.
  • Der Putterkopf 1 kann durch Anordnung von Massen zwischen der Sohle 2 und der Deckfläche 3 einen möglichst niedrigen Schwerpunkt erhalten und beispielsweise schlagflächenbetont (face-balanced) ausbalanciert werden.
  • Weiterhin weist der Putterkopf 1 erfindungsgemäß die bereits weiter oben beschriebene optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 auf, die es dem Golfspieler ermöglicht, seinen Kopf relativ zum Putterkopf 1 und zum Golfball 11 korrekt auszurichten. Die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 umfaßt im ersten Ausführungsbeispiel eine kreisrunde Ausnehmung 7 in der Deckfläche 3 des Putterkopfes 1 und auf einer der Deckplatte 3 zugewandten Oberfläche 8 der Sohle 2 eine kreisförmige Markierung 9, deren Durchmesser kleiner oder höchstens gleich demjenigen der Ausnehmung 7 in der Deckplatte 3 ist.
  • Der Kopf des Golfspielers wird so bewegt, dass die durch das Auge des Golfspielers anvisierten Markierungen 7 und 9 optisch zur Dekkung gebracht sind, wie bereits weiter oben in der Beschreibung zu Fig. 2 erläutert. Der Golfspieler bewegt also seinen Kopf so lange bis er die Markierungen 7 und 9 sich genau überdeckend (vgl. die mittlere Darstellung in Fig. 2) sieht.
  • In den Fig. 5 und 6 ist ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel für einen erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Putterkopf 1 dargestellt. Fig. 5 zeigt eine perspektivische Darstellung, wogegen Fig. 6 eine Aufsicht von oben zeigt.
  • Die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 weist im zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel eine runde Markierung 9 auf, die in diesem Fall an einer Oberfläche des Putterkopfes 1 angeordnet ist. Optisch mit der Markierung 9 zur Deckung zu bringen ist eine Kreisfläche 12, welche die Grundfläche eines auf seiner kleineren Fläche stehenden Kegelstumpfes 13 bildet. Der Kegelstumpf 13 ist mittig auf der Markierung 9 angeordnet, wobei ein Abstand X von einem Mittelpunkt 10 der Kreisfläche 12 zu einem Mittelpunkt 16 des Golfballs 11, den durchschnittlichen Augenabstand des Menschen entspricht. Die Gewichtsverteilung zur Sohle 2 des Putterkopfes 1 kann im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel beispielsweise durch mehrere, auf die Oberfläche 8 des Putterkopfes 1 aufgesetzte kegelstumpfförmige Aufsätze 14 erfolgen. Dort kann beispielsweise auch der Schaft des Golfputters ansetzen. Auch dieser Putterkopf 1 kann durch eine geeignete Gewichtsverteilung schlagflächenbetont (face-balanced) ausbalanciert werden.
  • Die Fig. 7 und 8 zeigen ein drittes Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäß ausgestatteten Putterkopfes 1 in gleicher Darstellung wie die Fig. 3 und 4. Der in den Fig. 7 und 8 dargestellte Putterkopf 1 weist einen kastenförmigen Aufbau auf, bei welchem oberhalb der Markierung 9 mittels Stegen 17 eine Scheibe 15 angeordnet ist, welche durch Bewegen des Kopfes des Golfspielers mit der Markierung 9 auf der der Deckfläche 3 zugewandten Oberfläche 8 der Sohle 2 optisch zur Deckung gebracht wird. Wie in den vorigen Ausführungsbeispielen ist der Abstand X zwischen dem Mittelpunkt 10 der Scheibe 15 und dem Mittelpunkt 16 des Golfballs 11 identisch mit dem mittleren Augenabstand X des Menschen. Auch hier können zwischen der Sohle 2 und der Deckplatte 3 des Putterkopfes 1 in beliebiger Weise und an beliebigen Stellen Gewichte eingebracht werden, um einen schlagflächenbetont (face- balanced) ausbalancierten Putterkopf 1 herzustellen.
  • Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele beschränkt und für eine Vielzahl weiterer Putterformen anwendbar. Insbesondere sind alle Merkmale der einzelnen Ausführungsbeispiele beliebig miteinander kombinierbar.
  • Zusammenfassend kann ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wie folgt dargestellt werden:
  • Ein Kopf 1 für einen Golfputter besitzt eine Sohle 2, eine Deckfläche 3, eine Schlagfläche 4, eine Aufnahme 5 für einen Schaft und eine optische Positioniereinrichtung 6. Die optische Positioniereinrichtung 6 umfasst wenigstens zwei Markierungen 9, 7, 12, 15, die mit einem Auge des Golfspielers anvisiert werden, wobei der Kopf des Golfspielers bewegt wird, bis die mit dem Auge anvisierten Markierungen 9, 7, 12, 15 einander optisch decken, und die richtige Postion des Kopfes des Golfspielers eingenommen ist. Die Summe aus dem Abstand A des Mittelpunktes 10 der Markierungen 9, 7, 12, 15 der Positioniereinrichtung 6 und dem Radius R eines Golfballes 11 und dem Abstand Y des Golfballs von der Schlagfläche 4 in der Ansprechpostion entspricht im Wesentlichen dem mittleren Augenabstand X von Menschen.

Claims (14)

  1. Putterkopf (1) für einen Golfputter, mit einer Sohle (2), einer Deckfläche (3), einer Schlagfläche (4), einer Aufnahme (5) für einen Schaft und mit einer optischen Positioniereinrichtung (6), die zumindest zwei Markierungen (9; 7, 12, 15) umfaßt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Markierungen (9; 7, 12, 15) kreisförmig sind, dass der Abstand (A) der Mittelpunkte (10) der kreisförmigen Markierungen (9; 7,12,15) von der Schlagfläche (4) vermehrt um den Radius (R) eines Golfballes (11) und um den Abstand (Y) des Golfballs (11) von der Schlagfläche (4), in der Ansprechposition, nämlich von 1mm bis 5mm, bevorzugt 3mm, gleich dem mittleren Augenabstand (X) des Menschen, nämlich von 61mm bis 71mm und bevorzugt 66mm, ist.
  2. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand (A) der Mittelpunkte (10) der kreisförmigen Markierungen von der Schlagfläche (4) im Bereich von 42mm bis 48mm liegt und bevorzugt 45mm beträgt.
  3. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zumindest zwei kreisförmigen Markierungen (9; 7, 12, 15) in der Ansprechposition voneinander vertikal beabstandet sind.
  4. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zumindest zwei kreisförmigen Markierungen (9; 7, 12, 15) optisch zur Deckung bringbar sind.
  5. Putterkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die kreisförmigen Markierungen (9; 7, 12, 15) identisch geformt sind.
  6. Putterkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die eine kreisförmige Markierung (7) in Form einer Ausnehmung (7) in der Deckfläche (3) des Putterkopfes (1) ausgebildet ist.
  7. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die andere-kreisförmige Markierung (9) an einer der Deckfläche (3) zugewandten Oberfläche (8) der Sohle (2) angeordnet ist.
  8. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 6 und 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mittelpunkt (10) der Ausnehmung (7) deckungsgleich über dem Mittelpunkt (10) der Markierung (9) angeordnet ist.
  9. Putterkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die eine kreisförmige Markierung (9) an einer Oberfläche (8) des Putterkopfes (1) angeordnet ist.
  10. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die eine kreisförmige Markierung (12) in Form einer Grundfläche (12) eines auf der Oberfläche (8) des Putterkopfes (1) angeordneten Kegelstumpfes (13) ausgebildet ist.
  11. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Mittelpunkt (10) der Grundfläche (12) des Kegelstumpfes (13) deckungsgleich über dem Mittelpunkt (10) der Markierung (9) angeordnet ist.
  12. Putterkopf nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die eine kreisförmige Markierung (15) in Form einer Scheibe (15) ausgebildet ist, die über Stege (17) mit der Deckfläche (3) des Putterkopfes (1) verbunden ist.
  13. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die andere kreisförmige Markierung (9) an einer der Deckfläche (3) zugewandten Oberfläche (8) der Sohle (2) angeordnet ist.
  14. Putterkopf nach Anspruch 12 oder 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Mittelpunkt (10) der Scheibe (15) deckungsgleich über dem Mittelpunkt (10) der Markierung (9) angeordnet ist.
