Es kann zusätzlich auch eine gleichzeitige (in Arbeitsrichtung 15 gesehen) Entlastung der Abrollplatte 2 unten vorgesehen sein, oder eine variierend gesteuerte Entlastung, z. B. alternierend oben/unten in Arbeitsrichtung 15. Dies liegt im Ermessenspielraum des Anwenders. Denkbar ist hier die Anordnung von mehreren Entlastungszonen ab der Hälfte der Presslänge der kontinuierlich arbeitenden Presse, die unterschiedlich angesteuert werden können. Natürlich kann zum Erreichen einer maximalen Verformung der Abrollplatten 1 oder 2 eine Entlastungszone an einem Abrollplattenstoß angeordnet sein, siehe Figur 2, oder eine etwas gemäßigte Entlastungszone nach Figur 3. Durchaus zur Steifigkeit und Genauigkeit der kontinuierlich arbeitenden Presse beitragendes Merkmal ist, dass die Heizplatten 3 oder 4 über die gesamte Breite der Matte 10 quer zur Arbeitsrichtung 15 als ein stabiles und nicht unterbrochenes Teil ausgestaltet sind.
