Abstract

Maschinengehäuse (1), insbesondere ein Zylinderkopf für eine Brennkraftmaschine, in dem eine Nockenwelle (2), deren Lager (3) von einem unter Druck stehenden Schmiermittel beaufschlagt sind sowie eine weitere Welle (4), die in zumindest einem weiteren Lager (5) drehbar gelagert ist, und wobei das Maschinengehäuse (1) eine Wandung (5) aufweist, die in Einbaulage des Maschinengehäuses (1) aus einem Lager (3) ausgetretenes und/oder in dem Maschinengehäuse (1) verspritztes Schmiermittel auffängt, wobei das weitere Lager (5) zumindest abschnittsweise in dem aufgefangenen Schmiermittel angeordnet ist.
Durch die vorgeschlagene Ausgestaltung wird der Fertigungsaufwand für ein gattungsgemäßes Maschinengehäuse (1) reduziert.
