Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing (cigarette) packages, which are provided with at least one blank, in particular with a multiply folded coupon, having the features of the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device advantageous for the application of the method ,
  • packaging material in particular reels with wound webs of the packaging material, with a marking, namely a bar code, in order to be able to identify the wound packaging material for processing ( EP 0 965 523 A1 ).
  • the object of the invention is to tailor the handling of the blanks or coupons to the production of the packs so that the coupons are made available automatically or with a low manual set-up in the required quantity of the packaging machine.
  • the method according to the invention or the device for carrying out the method consists of the features of claims 1 and 6 for achieving this object.
  • the peculiarity of the invention therefore consists in the fact that the coupons produced in a plurality of packaging machines associated coupon pavers are collected in the immediate vicinity of the packaging machines and filled in magazines.
  • the magazines are delivered as needed by a conveyor, in particular by a transport vehicle, the packaging machine.
  • a separate coupon device consists of a coupon paver, a distribution system for the coupons and a filling station. Several coupons are produced simultaneously in a working cycle, distributed in the transport direction, so arrive at the filling individual, successive coupons and are filled in each one prepared magazine.
  • a special feature is the coordinated control of the coupon device; the conveyor and the packaging machines by preferably a central computer. This receives the data on the (cigarette) packages to be produced. From this, the need for packaging material and coupons is determined. The computer then controls the manufacture of the coupons and their provision according to the need for each packaging machine.
  • FIG. 1 an embodiment with two packaging machines 12 is shown.
