Abstract
Description
- Die vorliegende Anmeldung betrifft Mittel für das maschinelle Geschirrspülen, wobei die Mittel Polyolhydroxyalkylether enthalten, sowie die Verwendung solcher Polyolhydroxyalkylether in Klarspül- bzw. Reinigungsmitteln, vorzugsweise zum maschinellen Geschirrspülen.
- Klarspülmittel stellen üblicherweise Gemische aus schwachschäumenden nichtionischen Tensiden, typischerweise Fettalkoholpolyethylen/polypropylenglykolethern, Lösungsvermittlern (z. B. Cumolsulfonat), organischen Säuren (z. B. Zitronensäure) und Lösungsmitteln (z. B. Ethanol) dar. Die Aufgabe dieser Mittel besteht darin, die Grenzflächenspannung des Wassers so zu beeinflussen, daß es in einem möglichst dünnen, zusammenhängenden Film vom Spülgut ablaufen kann, so daß beim anschließenden Trocknungsvorgang keine Wassertropfen, Streifen oder Filme zurückbleiben. Dabei besteht aber ein ständiger Bedarf, die Klarspülleistung zu verbessern. Des weiteren sind in den letzten Jahre vermehrt multifunktionale Reinigerformulierungen auf den Markt gekommen, die neben einer Reinigungsleistung noch mindestens einen Zusatznutzen vermitteln sollen, beispielsweise das Klarspülen und/oder Enthärten des Spülwassers (sogenannte 2-in-1, bzw. 3-in-1 Produkte). Kombinierte Produkte aus Geschirr-Reiniger mit eingebautem Klarspüler werden sowohl im Haushalt als auch im gewerblichen Bereichen immer mehr eingesetzt. In Haushaltsgeschirrspülern werden Klarspüler in der Regel vor der Reinigung separat zudosiert und nach dem Vorspül- und Reinigungsgang bei knapp 40°C - 65°C in die Spülkammer freigesetzt. Bei den kombinierten Geschirrspülmitteln (z.B. "2 in 1"- bzw. "3 in 1"- Tabs oder Pulvern) wird der Klarspüler zusammen mit dem Reinigungsmitteln formuliert, aber so freigesetzt, daß er erst im Klarspülgang zur Wirkung gelangt, was die Handhabung und Dosierung der Reinigungsmittel erleichtert.
Vor dem Hintergrund dieser neuartigen Formulierungen müssen alternative Klarspüler entwickelt werden, die den Anforderungen der multifunktionalen Produkte entsprechen, ohne dass es zu einer Verringerung der Klarspülleistung kommt. Weiterhin ist das Bedürfnis gegeben, Klarspüler mit erhöhter Effizienz zu finden. - Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung bestand darin, Klarspüler mit verbesserter Klarspülleistung zur Verfügung zu stellen, die sich gleichzeitig auch zu multifunktionalen Produkten formulieren lassen.
- Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung in ihrer ersten Ausführungsform sind Klarspülmittel, enthaltend mindestens a) Wasser, b) einen in Wasser unlöslichen Polyolhydroxyalkylether dessen Alkoholkomponente mindestens zwei aber höchstens 6 Hydroxylgruppen und drei bis sechs Kohlenstoffatomen enthält und dessen Alkylrest ausgewählt ist aus gesättigten und/oder ungesättigten verzweigten oder unverzweigten Hydroxyalkylresten mit 10 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen, vorzugsweise mit 2-Hydroxyalkylresten, und c) einen Lösungsvermittler sowie optional d) eine Säure, vorzugsweise eine organische Säure.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Klarspülmittel sind durch den Gehalt an Polyolhydroxyalkylethern b) gekennzeichnet. Derartig Ether selbst sind bekannt, wobei hier beispielsweise auf die Offenbarung der US 3,427,248 verwiesen wird Die erfindungsgemäßen Polyolhydroxyalkylether weisen eine (Poly)alkoholkomponente auf und einen oder mehrere Alkylreste, die mindestens jeweils eine freie Hydroxyl-Funktion, vorzugsweise in der 2-Position der Kette tragen. Solche erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen werden beispielweise hergestellt, indem man ein alpha-Alkylepoxid mit einem Polyol, vorzugsweise Glycerin bei erhöhten Temperaturen und in Gegenwart saurer oder basischer Katalysatoren, vorzugsweise von Kalium- oder Natriumhydroxid umsetzt. Dabei sind Reaktionstemperaturen von 180 °C bis 250 °C, vorzugsweise von 200 bis 220 °C bevorzugt. Ein vorzugsweise verwendeter alkalischer Katalysator kann im Anschluss an die Reaktion durch Zugabe einer organischen Säure, vorzugsweise Milchsäure, neutralisiert werden.
- Die Polyolkomponente des Polyolalkylethers ist bevorzugt aus der Gruppe Butandiol, Pentandiol, Hexandiol, Glycerin, Diglycerin, Neopentylglykol, Pentaerythrit und Trimethylolpropan ausgewählt. Bevorzugtes Polyol im Sinne der vorliegenden technischen Lehre ist das Glycerin. Der Hydroxyalkylreste des Polyolethers ist vorzugsweise ausgewählt aus gesättigten und/oder ungesättigten verzweigten oder unverzweigten Hydroxyalkylresten mit 10 bis 22, vorzugsweise 10 bis 18 und insbesondere 10 bis 16 Kohlenstoffatomen. Dabei sind gesättigte Hydroxyalkylreste mit 10 bis 18, vorzugsweise 10 bis 16 Kohlenstoffatomen besonders bevorzugt. Ebenfalls bevorzugt sind Mittel, die Polyolhydroxyalkylether auf Basis unverzweigter, gesättigter Alkylreste aufweisen. Herstellungsbedingt sind solche Hydroxyalkylreste bevorzugt, bei denen in 2-Stellung die freie OH-Funktion vorliegt.
- Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Polyolhydroxyalkylether folgen vorzugsweise der allgemeinen Formel (I)
- Dabei können die Polyolhydroxyalkylether auch Mischungen der verschiedenen Hydroxyalkyl- bzw. Hydroxyalkenylreste nebeninander aufweisen. Die in den erfindungsgemäßen Mitteln eingesetzten Polyolhydroxyalkylether können weiterhin vollständig oder partiell verethert sein. Es können auch Mischungen von partiell und vollständig veretherten Polyolhydroxyalkylethern zum Einsatz kommen.
Wesentlich ist aber, dass in der Alkylethergruppe mindestens eine freie OH-Funktion - wie oben beschrieben - vorliegt. Herstellungsbedingt kann auch ein geringer Anteil von unveretherten Polyolen enthalten sein, wobei deren Anteil typischerweise 5 bis 10 Gew.-% bezogen auf die Menge an Ether, nicht überschreitet. Besonders bevorzugte Polyolhydroxyalkylether sind die entsprechenden Glycerinmono- und/oder -diether wobei der Alkylrest dann vorzugsweise 10 bis 18 und besonders bevorzugt 10 bis 18 C-Atome enthält. Dabei sind jeweils solche Verbindungen bevorzugt, die nur gesättigte, unverzweigte Hydroxyalkylgruppen enthalten. - Die in den erfindungsgemäßen Mitteln eingesetzten Polyolhydroxyalkylether sind vorzugsweise wasserunlöslich, d.h. dass sie sich bei 21 °C nur zu maximal 10 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise zu maximal 5 Gew.-% und insbesondere zu maximal 2 Gew.-% in Wasser lösen. Daher ist es bevorzugt für die Formulierung von wässerigen Systemen Lösungsvermittler c) zuzusetzen. Lösungsvermittler sind in der Regel grenzflächenaktive Stoffe, die durch ihre Gegenwart andere, in einem bestimmten Lösungsmittel praktisch unlösliche Verbindungen in diesem Lösungsmittel lösen oder emulgierbar machen (Solubilisation). Besonders bevorzugt ist hier das Cumolsulfonat. Aber auch andere geeignete Lösungsvermittler sind geeignet, z.B. unverzweigte C6-C10-n-Alkylsulfate wie in der DE 44 01 235 offenbart. Daneben sind auch kurzkettige aliphatische Alkohole geeignet, wie beispielhaft Ethanol, Propanol oder Butanol, bzw. deren Isomere, den auch diese Verbindungen haben eine solubilisierende Wirkung und können daher im Sinne der vorliegenden Lehre als Komponente c) eingesetzt werden.
Des weiteren können die erfindungsgemäßen wässerigen Klarspülmittel noch nichtwässerige Lösungsmittel enthalten. Hier sind insbesondere Polyethylenglykole, vorzugsweise mit Molmassen von 600 bis 35000 oder Mischungen dieser Verbindungen geeignet.
Optional, aber bevorzugt, ist die Mitverwendung einer Säure d) in den erfindungsgemäßen Klarspülmitteln. Hier kommen insbesondere organische (Carbon)säuren in Frage. Als organische Di- oder Tricarbonsäuren mit 2 bis 6 C-Atomen kommen z. B. Äpfelsäure, Weinsäure,
Oxalsäure, Malonsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Glutarsäure, Adipinsäure, insbesondere aber Zitronensäure in Betracht. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden technischen Lehre sind auch Mischungen unterschiedlicher Einzelsubstanzen der Gruppen a), b), c) und/oder d) bzw. e) geeignet.
Daneben können die Klarspülmittel noch weitere übliche Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe enthalten. Hierbei sind insbesondere Tenside, und zwar sowohl nichtionische, anionische, kationische und zwitterionische Tenside zu nennen. Dabei ist die Mitverwendung von nichtionischen Tensiden, beispielsweise aus der Gruppe der Fettalkoholalkoxylate, vorzugsweise derFettalkoholethoxylate, Hydroxymischether oder Alkyl(oligo)glycoside bevorzugt. - Die Klarspülmittel der vorliegenden Erfindung im Sinne der ersten Ausführungsform sind wässerig, wobei der Wasseranteil im Bereich von 10 bis 90 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die Mittel liegen kann. Die wässerigen Klarspülmittel enthalten die Polyolhydroxyalkylether bevorzugt in Mengen von 0,01 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 2 bis 10 Gew.-%. Der Lösungsvermittler ist in Mengen von 1 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 1 bis 5 Gew.-% enthalten und das nichtwässerige Lösungsmittel in Mengen zwischen 1 und 50 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 35 Gew.-%. Die Säuren sind typischerweise in Mengen bis 10 Gew.-% enthalten.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Klarspüler werden üblicherweise separat in die Geschirrspülmaschine gegeben. Die Mittel eignen sich aber auch, um als Compounds beispielsweise in flüssige Reinigerformulierungen, insbesondere Geschirrspülmittel und vorzugsweise maschinellen Geschirrspülmitteln eingearbeitet zu werden.
- Ein weitere Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft Mittel, enthaltend Polyolalkylether gemäß der obigen Beschreibung, mindestens ein Enzym und mindestens ein Bleichmittel sowie optional weitere Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe. Dabei kann es sich sowohl um feste, als auch um flüssige oder gelförmige Mittel handeln, wobei feste Mittel bevorzugt sind. Solche _flüssigen oder festen Mittel enthalten die Polyolalkylether als Klarspüladditiv. Typischerweise handelt es sich hierbei um maschinelle Geschirrspülmittel, insbesondere um solche mit Multifunktionseigenschaften. Die Mittel enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Polyolhydroxyalkylether vorzugsweise in Mengen von 0,01 bis maximal 50 Gew.-%. Ein bevorzugter Bereich betrifft dabei den Gehalt von 1 bis 35 Gew.-%. Zwingend ist, neben der Anwesenheit der Polyolhydroxyalkylether, ein Gehalt an mindestens einem Enzym und mindestens einem Bleichmittel.
Als Enzyme kommen solche aus der Klasse der Proteasen, Lipase, Amylasen, Cellulasen bzw. deren Gemische in Frage. Besonders gut geeignet sind aus Bakterienstämmen oder Pilzen, wie Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus lichenformis und Strptomyces griseus gewonnene enzymatische Wirkstoffe. Vorzugsweise werden Proteasen vom Subtilisin-Typ und insbesondere Proteasen, die aus Bacillus lentes gewonnen werden, eingesetzt. Auch Mischungen von Enzymen können verwendet werden. Ihr Anteil kann etwa 0,1 bis 10, vorzugsweise 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-% betragen. Es kann aber auch vorteilhaft sein, wenn die Mittel 0,2 bis 6, bzw. 1 bis 5 Gew.-% an Enzymen aufweisen. Die Enzyme können an Trägerstoffen adsorbiert oder in Hüllsubstanzen eingebettet sein, um sie gegen vorzeitige Zersetzung zu schützen.
Als Bleichmittel können an sich bekannte Borate, Peroxidverbindungen und chlorhaltige Bleichmittel allein oder in Kombination eingesetzte werden. Unter den als Peroxy-Bleichmittel dienenden Verbindungen haben das Natriumperborat-Tetrahydrat und das Natriumperborat-Monohydrat eine besondere Bedeutung. Weitere Bleichmittel sind beispielsweise Peroxycarbonat, Citratperhydrate sowie H2O2-liefernde persaure Salze der Persäuren wie Perbenzoate, Peroxyphthalate oder Diperoxydodecandisäure. Sie werden üblicherweise in Mengen von 0,1 bis 40 Gew.-% eingesetzt. Bevorzugt ist der Einsatz von NatriumperboratMonohydrat in Mengen von 5 bis 20 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 5 bis 15 Gew.-%. Weiterhin bevorzugt ist der Einsatz von Natrium-percarbonat in Verbindung mit Alkyl- und/oder Alkenyloligoglycosiden. - Die erfindungsgemäßen Spül- und Reinigungsmittel im Sinne der zweiten Ausführungsform können als weitere übliche Inhaltstsstoffe bzw. Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe, beispielsweise Lösungsvermittler wie oben beschrieben, insbesondere aber niedere Alkohole, wie Ethanol, Isopropylalkohol, Ethylenglycol, Propylenglycol, Butylglycol, Diethylenglycol, Propylenglycolmonobutylether, Polyethylen- bzw. polypropylenglycolether, vorzugsweise mit Molmassen von 600 bis bis 50000 vorzugsweise bis 35000, oder insbesondere Butyldiglycol enthalten. Besonders bevorzugt sind die höhermolekulare Polyethylenglykole mit Molgewichten von 4000 bis 6000 .
In vielen Fällen ist eine zusätzliche bakterizide Wirkung erwünscht, weswegen die Spül- und Reinigungsmittel kationische Tenside oder Biozide, beispielsweise Glucoprotamin, enthalten können. Geeignete Builder sind Zeolithe, Schichtsilicate, Phosphate sowie Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure, Nitrilotriessigsäure, Citronensäure und deren Salz, sowie anorganische Phosphonsäuren und deren Derivate.
Als Verdickungsmittel können beispielsweise gehärtetes Rizinusöl, Salze von langkettigen Fettsäuren, die vorzugsweise in Mengen von 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% und insbesondere in Mengen von 0,5 bis 2 Gew.-%, beispielsweise Natrium-, Kalium-, Aluminium-, Magnesium- und Titan-Stearate oder die Natrium und/oder Kaliumsalze der Behensäure, sowie weitere polymere Verbindungen eingesetzt werden. Zu den letzten gehören bevorzugt Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Urethane und die Salze polymerer Polycarboxylate, beispielsweisehomopolymerer oder copolymerer Polyacrylate, Polymethacrylate und insbesondere Copolymere der Acrylsäure mit Maleinsäure, vorzugsweise solche aus 50 bis 10 Gew.-% Maleinsäure. Die relative Molekülmasse der Homopolymeren liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 1000 und 100000, die der Copolymeren zwischen 2000 und 200000, vorzugsweise zwischen 50000 bis 120000, bezogen auf die freie Säure. Insbesondere sind auch wasserlösliche Polyacrylate geeignet, die beispielsweise mit etwa 1% eines Polyallylethers der Sucrose quervernetzt sind und die eine relative Molekülmasse oberhalb 1000000 besitzen Die quervernetzten Polyacrylate werden vorzugsweise in Mengen nicht über 1 Gew.-% besonders bevorzugt in Mengen von 0,2 bis 0,7 Gew.-% eingesetzt. Weiterhin können die Mittel Phosphate enthalten.
Neben den oben beschriebenen Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffen können die Mittel auch Tenside ausgewählt aus den anionischen, kationischen, zwitterionischen oder nichtionischen Tensiden allein oder in Kombination enthalten, wobei die Mitverwendung nichtionischer Tenside bevorzugt ist. Dabei können die Tenside in Summe in Mengen von 1 bis 25 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des Mittels enthalten sein. - Die erfindungsgemäßen Spül- und Reinigungsmittel können vorzugsweise nichtionische Tenside enthalten. Typische Beispiele für nichtionische Tenside sind Alkoxylate von Alkanolen, endgruppenverschlossene Alkoxylate von Alkanolen ohne freie OH-Gruppen, alkoxylierte Fettsäureniedrigalkylester, Aminoxide, Alkylphenolpolyglycolether, Fettsäurepolyglycolester, Fettsäureamidpolyglycolether, Fettaminpolyglycolether, alkoxylierte Triglyceride, Mischether bzw. Mischformale, Fettsäure-N-alkylglucamide, Proteinhydrolysate (insbesondere pflanzliche Produkte auf Weizenbasis), Polyolfettsäureester, Zuckerester, Sorbitanester, und Polysorbate. Sofern die nichtionischen Tenside Polyglycoletherketten enthalten, können diese eine konventionelle, vorzugsweise jedoch eine eingeengte Homologenverteilung aufweisen. Bevorzugt sind die weiteren nichtionische Tenside ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, die gebildet wird von Alkoxylaten von Alkanolen, insbesondere Fettalkoholpolyethylenglykol/polypropylenglykolether (FAEO/PO) bzw. Fettalkoholpolypropylenglykol/polyethylenglykolether (FA-PO/EO), endgruppenverschlossene Alkoxylate von Alkanole, insbesondere endgruppenverschlossene Fettalkoholpolyethylenglykol/polypropylenglykolether bzw. endgruppenverschlossene Fettalkoholpolypropylenglykol/polyethylenglykolether, und Fettsäureniedrigalkylester und Aminoxiden. Weiterhin kann der Einsatz von Alkyl- und/oder Alkenyloligoglykoside bevorzugt sein.
Die nichtionischen Tenside können in den erfindungsgemäßen Spül- und Reinigungsmitteln in Mengen von 0,1 bis 15 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 10 Gew.-%, insbesondere 1 bis 8 Gew.-% enthalten sein, berechnet als Aktivsubstanz, bezogen auf die Mittel. - Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung können die erfindungsgemäßen Spül- und Reinigungsmittel auch anionische Tenside enthalten. Typische Beispiele für anionische Tenside sind Seifen, Alkylbenzolsulfonate, sekundäre Alkansulfonate, Olefinsulfonate, Alkylethersulfonate, Glycerinethersulfonate, α-Methylestersulfonate, Sulfofettsäuren, Alkyl- und/oder Alkenylsulfate, Alkylethersulfate, Glycerinethersulfate, Hydroxymischethersulfate, Monoglycerid-(ether)sulfate, Fettsäureamid(ether)sulfate, Mono- und Dialkylsulfosuccinate, Mono- und Dialkylsulfosuccinamate, Sulfotriglyceride, Amidseifen, Ethercarbonsäuren und deren Salze, Fettsäureisethionate, Fettsäuresarcosinate, Fettsäuretauride, N-Acylaminosäuren wie beispielsweise Acylacylate, Acyltartrate, Acylglutamate und Acylaspartate, Alkyloligoglucosidsulfate, Proteinfettsäurekondensate (insbesondere pflanzliche Produkte auf Weizenbasis) und Alkyl(ether)phosphate. Sofern die anionischen Tenside Polyglycoletherketten enthalten, können diese eine konventionelle, vorzugsweise jedoch eine eingeengte Homologenverteilung aufweisen. Vorzugsweise sind die anionischen Tenside ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, die gebildet wird von Alkyl- und/oder Alkenylsulfate, Alkylethersulfate, Alkylbenzolsulfonate, Monoglycerid(ether)sulfate und Alkansulfonate, insbesondere Fettalkoholsulfate, Fettalkoholethersulfate, sekundäre Alkansulfonate und lineare Alkylbenzolsulfonate.
Sofern anionische Tenside enthalten sind, können die Spül- und Reinigungsmittel 0,01 bis 20 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,25 bis 15 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,4 bis 10 Gew.-% anionische Tenside enthalten, berechnet als Aktivsubstanz, bezogen auf die Mittel. Den zu 100 Gew.-% fehlenden Rest können Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe sowie Wasser darstellen.
Weiterhin können noch weitere Hilfsmittel enthalten sein, wie z.B. anorganische Salze, wie Sulfate, Chloride, Carbonate bzw. Hydrogencarbonate. Auch die Mitverwendung von Silikaten kann vorteilhaft sein. - Die Reinigungsmittel der vorliegenden Erfindung in ihrer zweiten Ausführungsform werden vorzugsweise in fester Form angeboten bzw. hergestellt, wobei dies jeder Art von Pulvern, Granulaten aber auch Tabletten und ähnliche Formkörper umfasst.
Wesentlich ist, dass diese festen Mittel die oben beschriebenen Polyolhydroxyalkylether enthalten, vorzugsweise in Mengen von 0,01 bis 25 Gew.-%, insbesondere in Mengen von 1 bis 15 Gew.-% und besonders bevorzugt in Mengen von 2 bis 10 Gew.-%.
Die Herstellung solcher festen Mittel kann dabei auf allen dem Fachmann hierzu bekannten Wegen vorgenommen werden, z.B. durch Granulation, Extrusion, Sprühtrocknung, Wirbelschichtgranulation, Pressagglomeration, Walzenkompaktierung, Pelletierung oder Tablettieren. Die festen Reinigungsmittel im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung enthalten neben den Polyolalkylethern noch weitere Inhaltsstoffe, vorzugsweise Tenside, Builder und Hilfs- oder Zusatzstoffe. Zu den Einzelheiten und Charakterisierung dieser Inhaltsstoffe sei auf die obige Beschreibung verwiesen.
Die festen Mittel enthalten Polyolhydroxyalkylether und nichtionische Tenside vorzugsweise im Mengenverhältnis von 99 : 1 bis 1 : 99, wobei das Verhältnis 90 : 10 bis 10 : 90 besonders bevorzugt sein kann. Vorzugsweise liegen die Ether und die nichtionischen Tenside aber in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 65 : 35 bis 35 : 65 und insbesondere von 50 : 50 vor. Dabei kann es vorteilhaft sein, wenn bei granulierten Mitteln noch Polymere, insbesondere Polyethylenglykole mit einem Molgewicht von größer 5000 enthalten sind.
Bevorzugt ist weiterhin die Mitverwendung von Bleichmitteln, insbesondere von peroxidhaltigen Bleichmitteln. Auch die Mitverwendung von wasserenthärtenden Substanzen, beispielsweise Phosphaten, Polyacrylaten und/oder anderen wasserenthärtenden Polymeren, insbesondere Copolymeren ist bevorzugt. - Die festen Mittel eignen sich insbesondere zum Reinigen harter Oberflächen und besonders als Reinigungsmittel für das automatische Geschirrspülen (sog. "automatic dish detergents" kurz ADD). Die erfindungsgemäßen Polyolhydroxyether eignen sich weiterhin vorzugsweise zu Verbesserung der Trocknungsleistung von Geschirrspülmitteln. Unter Trocknungsleistung ist dabei zu verstehen, in wie weit ein mit einem Geschirrspülmittel gereinigtes Spülgut nach Durchlaufen des Geschirrspülverfahrens noch Wasser, vorzugsweise Wassertropfen, auf der Oberfläche aufweist.
- Ein weiterer Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von Polyolhydroxyalkylethern gemäß der obigen Beschreibung in Reinigungsmitteln, vorzugsweise in Mitteln zum maschinellen Geschirrspülen. Dabei sind Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I) besonders bevorzugt. Die Mitverwendung von Bleichmitteln sowie Enzymen ist bevorzugt.
- Ein weiterer Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft Mittel, die enthaltend
- a) 40 bis 75 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II):
- b) 20 bis 40 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II), wobei in der Formel aber mindestens zwei der drei Reste R1, R2, oder R3 Hydroxyalkyl- oder Hydroxyalkenylreste sind,
- c) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II), wobei in der Formel alle Reste R1, R2 und R3 für Hydroxyalkyl- oder Hydroxyalkenylreste stehen, und
- d) 0 bis 20 Gew.-% Glycerin
- e) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% Oligomere
- 1 Mol einer Mischung enthaltend C10-C16-Alkyl-alpha-Epoxide wurde mit 3 Mol Glycerin in Gegenwart von Kaliumhydroxid als Katalysator bei erhöhter Temperatur zur Reaktion gebracht. Nach Beendigung der Reaktion wurde das überschüssige Glycerin abdestilliert.
Das verbleibende Endprodukt wies die folgende Verteilung auf:Monoether: 70 bis 73 Gew.-% Diether: 20 bis 25 Gew.-% Triether: < 2 Gew.-% Glycerin: < 0,5 Gew.-% - Es handelte sich um eine wachsartigen Feststoff mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 62 bis 67 °C.
- 3 Mol Glycerin werden in Gegenwart von 0,4 Gew.-% Kaliumhydroxid (bezogen auf die zu verwendende Epoxid-Menge) mit 1 Mol einer Mischung enthaltend C10-C16-Alkyl-alpha-Epoxide bei 200 - 220 °C umgesetzt. Der Katalysator wurde anschließend mit Milchsäure neutralisiert und ein Teil des überschüssigen Glycerins bei 90 °C mittels Phasentrennung abgetrennt. Anschließend wurde zur vollständigen Glycerinentfernung im Vakuum bei 119 - 141 °C und 0,04 -0,05 mbar andestilliert.
Produktzusammensetzung: Monoether: 72,2% Diether: 22,5% Triether: 1,7% Glycerin: 0,08% Sonstige: 4,32% - 1 bis 1,5 Mol Glycerin werden in Gegenwart von 0,4 Gew.-% Kaliumhydroxid (bezogen auf die zu verwendende Epoxid-Menge) mit 1 Mol einer Mischung enthaltend C10-C16-Alkyl-alpha-Epoxide bei 200 - 220 °C umgesetzt. Der Katalysator wird anschließend mit Milchsäure neutralisiert.
- Die Produktzusammensetzung änderte sich mit dem Molverhältnis Glycerin/Epoxid in folgenden Bereichen
Glycerin: 0-20% Monoether: 40-75% Diether: 20-40% Triether: 0 - 10% - Die Beurteilung des Klarspülvermögens erfolgt visuell durch Testpersonen. Dabei wurden Gläser, Besteck, Kunststoff- sowie Porzellanteller unter definierten Bedingungen (Wasser mit 2, 16 bzw. 21 °dH - je nach Formulierung, 50 g Standard-Anschmutzung*
*Standard-Anschmutzung: Bezogen auf 1000 g: Mischung aus je 25 g Ketchup, Senf und Bratensauce, 300g Margarine, 150 g Trinkmilch, 15 g Kartoffelstärke, 9 g Eigelb, 3g Benzoesäure, Rest: Wasser.) in einer Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine gespült.
Danach wurde das Spülgut unter definierten Lichtverhältnissen nach Flecken- und Belagsbildung beurteilt. Die Angabe der Ergebnisse erfolgt als "deutlich besser (++)/ besser (+)/ gleich (0)/ schlechter als Standard (-)", wobei der Standard in jeder Testreihe auf 0 gesetzt wurde. In den nachfolgenden Tabellen sind die Versuchsergebnisse dargestellt, wobei V1 ein Vergleichsversuch (= Standard) und I bis XI die erfindungsgemäßen Beispiele wiedergeben. - Es wurden folgende Polyolhydroxyalkylether getestet:
- A: C10-C16 alpha-Hydroxylalkylglycerinether wie unter 1. beschrieben
- B: C16 alpha-Hydroxylalkylglycerinether
- C: C18 alpha-Hydroxyalkylglycerinether
- D: Produkt A als Granulat
- E: 90 Gew.-% A und 10 Gew.-% PEG 6000
- Weitere im Test verwendete Tenside:
- F: C12-C14 Fettalkohol mit 5 Mol Ethylenoxid pro Mol Fettalkohol
- G: Hydroxymischether auf Basis eines alkoxylierten Fettalkohols.
- H: C8-10-Alkyl-1.5-glucosid.
- Im Test verwendete feste Formulierungen (alle Angaben in Gew.-%):

Es wurde mit Wasser bei 2 °dH gespült.

Dies zeigt sich besonders am Klarspülvermögen an Porzellan und Besteck.
- Für diese Tests wurde das jeweilige Produkt zu Beginn des Klarspülgangs direkt in die Spülmaschine zudosiert. Es wurde bei diesen Versuchen mit Wasser von 2 °dH gespült.

Dies zeigt sich besonders am Klarspülvermögen an Porzellan und Besteck.
- Für diese Tests wurde das jeweilige Produkt
- a) in eine Reiniger-Pulverformulierung 1 eingearbeitet,
- b) in eine Reiniger-Tabletten-Formulierung 2 eingearbeitet und anschließend zu einer Tablette verpresst,
- c) zusätzlich zu einer Reinigertablette als separates Produkt jeweils zu Beginn des Reinigungszyklus in die Spülmaschine zudosiert.
- Den Tabellen 2.3a bis 2.3c ist deutlich zu entnehmen, dass die erfindungsgemäßen Tenside als Klarspülkomponenten weitaus besser als das Vergleichstensid sind. Dies zeigt sich besonders am Klarspülvermögen an Porzellan und Besteck.
- Die Versuche mit "3 in 1" Formulierungen wurden mit Wasser bei 21 °dH durchgeführt. Für diese Tests wurde das jeweilige Produkt
- a) in eine "3 in 1" Pulverformulierung 3a eingearbeitet,
- b) in eine "3 in 1" Tabletten-Formulierung 3b eingearbeitet und anschließend zu einer Tablette verpresst,
- c) zusätzlich zu einer "3 in 1" Tablette (Tablettenformulierung 3c) als separates Produkt jeweils zu Beginn des Reinigungszyklus in die Spülmaschine zudosiert.
- Den Tabellen 2.4a bis 2.4c ist zu entnehmen, dass die erfindungsgemäßen Tenside als Klarspülkomponenten besser als das Vergleichstensid sind. Dies zeigt sich besonders am Klarspülvermögen an Porzellan und Besteck.
- Die Beurteilung der Trocknungsleistung erfolgt durch Zählen der an dem Spülgut noch haftenden Tropfen. Dabei werden Gläser, Besteck, Kunststoff- sowie Porzellanteller unter definierten Bedingungen (Wasser mit 21 °dH, 50 g Standard-Anschmutzung) in einer Haushaltsgeschirrspülmaschine gespült.
Nach Beendigung des Spülprogramms wird das Spülgut unter definierten Lichtverhältnissen nach Tropfenanzahl beurteilt. Die Angabe der Ergebnisse erfolgt als "deutlich besser (++)/besser (+)/ gleich (0)/ schlechter (-) als Standard", wobei in jeder Versuchsreihe der Standard auf 0 gesetzt wird. In den nachfolgenden Tabellen sind die Versuchsergebnisse dargestellt, wobei V1 ein Vergleichsversuch (= Standard) und I bis V die erfindungsgemäßen Beispiele wiedergeben. - Für diese Tests wurde das jeweilige Produkt
a) in eine "3 in 1" Pulverformulierung 3a eingearbeitet,
b) in eine "3 in 1" Tabletten-Formulierung 3b eingearbeitet und anschließend zu einer Tablette verpresst,

Dies zeigt sich besonders am Trocknungsvermögen an Porzellan und Besteck.
Weiterhin ist es bevorzugt, diese Mittel in Wasch- und Reinigungsmitteln einzusetzen, vorzugsweise in Geschirrspülmitteln. Es ist dabei bevorzugt solche Mittel einzusetzen, die 2-Hydroxyalkyl- bzw. -alkenylreste enthalten. Die Mittel im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung stellen Mischungen von Mono-, Di- und Triglycerinhydroxyethern dar, wobei nichtumgesetztes Glycerin bzw. Oligoglycerine herstellungsbedingt in den Mitteln enthalten sein können. Es ist in diesem Zusammenhang wesentlich, dass mindestens Mono- und Diglycerinether gemäß der obigen Formel (II) in den Mitteln enthalten sind, um die gewünschten Wirkungen zu erzielen. Dabei sind solche Polyolhydroxyether der Formel (II) bevorzugt, bei denen die Reste R für einen 2-Hydroxyalkyl- bzw. Alkenylrest stehen, wobei lineare Alkylreste bevorzugt sind.

Claims (28)
- Klarspülmittel, enthaltend mindestensa) Wasser,b) einen in Wasser unlöslichen Polyolhydroxyalkylether dessen Alkoholkomponente mindestens zwei aber höchstens 6 Hydroxylgruppen und drei bis sechs Kohlenstoffatomen enthält und dessen Alkylrest ausgewählt ist aus gesättigten und/oder ungesättigten verzweigten oder unverzweigten Hydroxyalkylresten mit 10 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen, vorzugsweise mit 2-Hydroxyalkylresten undc) einen Lösungsvermittlerd) optional eine Säure, vorzugsweise eine organische Säure
- Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zusätzlich ein nichtwässeriges Lösungsmittel enthält.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Alkoholkomponente des Hydroxypolyolethers Glycerin ist.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hydroxyalkylreste des Polyolethers ausgewählt ist aus gesättigten und/oder ungesättigten verzweigten oder unverzweigten Hydroxyalkylresten mit 10 bis 22, vorzugsweise 10 bis 18 und insbesondere 10 bis 16 Kohlenstoffatomen.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es Glycerinhydroxyalkylether enthält, wobei der Hydroxyalkylrest gesättigt und unverzweigt ist und zwischen 10 und 18, vorzugsweise 10 bis 16 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lösungsvermittler Cumolsulfonat ist.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Lösungsmittel ausgewählt ist aus Polyethylenglykol oder Mischungen dieser Verbindungen.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel Zitronensäure enthält.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zwischen 10 und 90 Gew.-% Wasser enthält.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es den Polyolhydroxyalkylether in Mengen von 0,01 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 2 bis 10 Gew.-% enthält.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es den Lösungsvermittler in Mengen von 1 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 1 bis 5 Gew.-% enthält.
- Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zusätzlich noch Tenside, vorzugsweise nichtionische Tenside enthält.
- Verwendung von Polyolhydroxyalkylethern der Formel (I)
- Verwendung nach Anspruch 13 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass R5 in der Formel (I) einen Rest R6-COH-CH2- bedeutet, worin R6 für einen Alkyl- bzw. Alkenylrest mit 8 bis 20 C-Atomen steht.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die entsprechenden Reste in der Formel (I) für 2-Hydroxyalkyl- bzw. -alkenylreste stehen.
- Verwendung nach Anspruch 13 bis 15, wobei der Polyolhydroxyalkylether gemäß Formel (I) in Kombination mit Bleichmitteln und Enzymen verwendet wird.
- Mittel, enthaltend Polyolhydroxyalkylether nach Anspruch 1, Enzyme und Bleichmittel sowie optional weitere Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe.
- Mittel nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel fest ist.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es zusätzlich nichtionische Tenside enthält.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es Polyolhydroxyalkylether und nichtionische Tenside im Mengenverhältnis von 99 : 1 bis 1 : 99 und bevorzugt 90 : 10 bis 10 : 90, vorzugsweise 65 : 35 bis 35 : 65 und insbesondere von 50 : 50 enthält.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es wasserenthärtende Substanzen, vorzugsweise Phosphate und/oder Polyacrylate enthält.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es die Polyolhydroxyalkylether in Mengen von 0,01 bis 25 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 2 bis 10 Gew.-% enthält.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es Enzyme in Mengen von 0,1 bis 10 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise von 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-% enthält.
- Mittel nach den Ansprüchen 17 bis 23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es Bleichmittel in Mengen von 0,1 bis 40 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 5 bis 20 Gew.-% und insbesondere von 5 bis 15 Gew.-% enthält.
- Verwendung von Polyolhydroxyalkylethern nach Formel (I) zur Verbesserung der Trocknungsleistung von Geschirrspülmitteln.
- Mittel, enthaltenda) 40 bis 75 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II):b) 20 bis 40 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II), wobei in der Formel aber mindestens zwei der drei Reste R1, R2, oder R3 Hydroxyalkyl- oder Hydroxyalkenylrest sind,c) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% einer Verbindung der Formel (II), wobei in der Formel alle Reste R1, R2 und R3 für Hydroxyalkyl- oder Hydroxyalkenylrest stehen, undd) 0 bis 20 Gew.-% Glycerine) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% Oligomeremit der Maßgabe, dass die Mengenangaben der Komponenten a) bis e) in Summe 100 ergeben.
- Mittel nach Anspruch 26, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die entsprechenden Reste in den Formeln (II) für 2-Hydroxyalkyl- bzw. -alkenylreste stehen.
- Verwendung von Mitteln gemäß den Ansprüchen 26 bis 27 in Wasch- und Reinigungsmitteln, vorzugsweise in Geschirrspülmitteln.
