Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble stator pour un moteur électrique, comprenant un boîtier de stator, une bague magnétique expansible insérée dans le boîtier de stator et une multitude d'aimants disposés sur une surface intérieure de la bague magnétique. Un matériau de surmoulage est moulé autour des aimants dans la bague magnétique, par exemple, par moulage par injection. La pression du matériau de surmoulage, au fur et à mesure que celui-ci est moulé, fait gonfler la bague magnétique poussant ladite bague à s'engrener dans le boîtier de stator. Le matériau de surmoulage fixe les aimants sur la bague magnétique et la bague magnétique sur le boîtier. La bague magnétique ou le boîtier de stator présente un embrèvement qui entre en contact avec un trou ménagé dans la bague magnétique ou dans le boîtier de manière à permettre l'alignement de la bague magnétique et du boîtier de stator. Dans un aspect de cette invention, le matériau de surmoulage est moulé de manière à former au moins une extrémité de commutateur, ou un support de palier arrière, ou un support de palier avant, ou un déflecteur de ventilation. Dans un autre aspect de cette invention, le matériau de surmoulage est moulé de manière à former un élément de clavetage, lequel peut présenter des encoches de différentes largeurs entre les pôles magnétiques de l'ensemble stator. Dans un autre aspect de cette invention, la bague magnétique et le boîtier sont préformés en tant qu'unité par poinçonnage à partir d'ébauches puis mandrinage ensemble. Dans un mode de réalisation différent, l'ébauche de la bague magnétique est mandrinée en premier de manière à former une bague magnétique et l'ébauche du boîtier est mandriné autour de la bague magnétique; cette dernière servant d'arbre de mandrinage.
