Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'initialiser un jeu souhaité dans un appareil de jeu électronique, une somme prédéterminée étant mise en jeu pour le déroulement du jeu et l'action de jeu étant représentée sur un écran. Selon l'invention, le joueur a le choix entre ces différentes possibilités : a) renoncer à un jeu préalable proposé qui se déroule avant le jeu souhaité ; b) jouer à ce jeu préalable. Cette invention est caractérisée en ce que : lorsque le joueur renonce au jeu préalable, le jeu principal se déroule avec des chances de victoire prédéterminées et des gains prédéterminés ; lorsque le joueur choisit le jeu préalable qui ne permet qu'une victoire ou qu'une défaite, c'est-à-dire qu'aucun gain n'est fixé, ni payé, la victoire ou la défaite du jeu préalable est déterminée après le déroulement dudit jeu préalable ; lorsque le joueur gagne au jeu préalable, le jeu principal est exécuté ; lorsque le joueur perd au jeu préalable, le processus de jeu s'achève, et la somme mise en jeu est considérée comme perdue et éventuellement l'appareil de jeu présente une nouvelle fois lesdites possibilités au joueur.
