Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cushion and a system for sealing building openings from flooding, which flows from a flood side and threatens to flood a lying in the building dry side.
  • the system comprises an air cushion inflatable cushion of substantially parallelepiped shape when used as intended for sealing rectangular building openings, as can be found on a window, a door or a light and / or ventilation shaft. Also proposed are further sealing elements for closing other building openings. Finally, a method for serial production of the pad is disclosed.
  • the in the DE 38 11 257 A1 illustrated device for sealing of building openings consists of a to be placed in the building opening frame, the outer edge of which is circulated by an inflatable tubular seal.
  • the sealing pad according to DE 39 05 660 A1 has a coat that is folded like a bellows.
  • the Abdichtkissen is folded in the initial position in a container which is embedded outside the door in the ground or attached to the window sill. When air is pumped in, the folds expand, the cushion straightens and is brought into the end position, with guide rails arranged vertically on both sides of the opening.
  • the DE 297 23 050 U1 shows an inflatable cushion for sealing building openings.
  • an inflatable cushion for sealing building openings.
  • a cuboid partition box which has an open side, which is circulated by a frame of elastic sealing material - such as rubber - flange.
  • This frame is screwed to the interior of the building facing surfaces of the window or door frame, which preferably also made of elastic sealing material.

  • the pillow engages the interior of the partition box so that it is secured against being pushed out of the building opening.
  • the DE 197 35 773 A1 discloses an inflatable cushion constructed in two stages for watertight closure of building openings.
  • the cross section of the first intended for insertion into the building opening stage corresponds approximately to the cross section of the building opening.
  • the inflation pressure of the air being pumped forces the peripheral surfaces of the first stage of the pad against the inner walls of the building opening, thus preventing the ingress of water into the interior of the building.
  • the subsequent to the first stage second stage has a larger cross section than the first stage.
  • the second stage projection rests against the outer edges of the building opening, thereby securing the cushion from the outside against being pushed into the building opening under heavy water pressure.
  • a multi-chamber structure is shown consisting of a plurality of hermetically separated chambers, so that a localized damage destroys only one or a few of the chambers and the pillow remains fully functional.
  • the describes DE 34 17 533 A1 an inflatable mat of elastically stretchable material, which under the influence of the filling pressure between the Opening edges of building openings is stretched and thus seals the opening against ingress of flood.
  • Inside the pad extend between opposite sides of the outer circumference stiffening webs, which form subregions between them.
  • the individual sections are connected by gaps in the webs in fluid communication and are inflated balloon-like when pumping in the air, so that a curved outer contour of the front and back of the cushion is formed.
  • the outer circumference of the cushions is bordered by an outwardly open U-profile made of rubber, whose legs surround the edges of the building opening on both sides and are screwed to the masonry.
  • U-profile made of rubber
