Definitions
- the present invention relates to a module for a modular building system, each module being designed to be juxtaposed to or stacked on other modules.
- This type of module is generally used for the realization of temporary buildings, most often for professional use such as sales offices for a real estate program, exhibition stands for a particular event, a reception area, temporary offices during rehabilitation programs (see for example WO96 / 11307 ).
- the invention therefore relates to a module for a modular building system comprising a floor which comprises a frame of rectangular form mechanically welded or bolted, a roof which also includes a form frame rectangular welded or bolted, four posts connecting the floor to the roof, in which the modules are tubular modules and have means for holding facing panels so that the panels of the gables are located inside the module relative to the poles while the long pan panels are located outside the module relative to these poles.
- This feature has several advantages.
- One of them lies in the fact that the pinion wall of each module is set back with respect to the angles thereof. This wall is therefore at least partially protected from shocks, which is advantageous because it is usually the wall that remains the longest associated with the structure.
- the amounts that form the corner posts are located outside the interior volume of the module, which eliminates the thermal bridges.
- the juxtaposition of two modules which is generally carried out by their long sides, can be performed in a very contiguous manner without having to compensate for the thickness of the partition, especially at floor level. It is sufficient for this purpose to remove the outer panels.
- each corner post is provided with an open chute on the side of the interior volume of the module.
- This chute is a privileged space to house all kinds of pipes, pipes or technical circuits needed to equip the module and regardless of the panels used to dress or customize.
- this chute is leaned against the post by means of an insulating coating which preserves the thermal and acoustic insulation of the interior space of the module.
- each Ceiling beam is provided on its underside with a chute open downwards.
- a chute or duct technical design and variable materials transversely to the module, integrated or not in the ceiling, is arranged a chute or duct technical design and variable materials, but allowing in particular the intercommunication and interconnection juxtaposed modules and / or superimposed.
- This chute or duct may also carry lighting or signaling devices.
- the means for holding the longpan panels associated with the posts are removable and comprise a metal profile which is attached laterally to the outside of the pole. to define with the latter on the one hand an outer rabbet open to the other end post of the long pan, on the other hand a lateral amount of facing of the post flush with the pinion face of the latter, and thirdly a hollow side seal between the rabbet and the upright.
- the longitudinal members of the rectangular frames forming the floor and the roof are equipped with removable outer rails facing each other for the high and low maintenance of the longpan panels, the lower rail affecting the shape of a U with a V bottom wall.
- This particular shape of the lower rail makes it possible to limit the contact area of a lower edge of the panel with this rail so as to allow it to slide more easily along the structure of the module for its installation or removal.
- the upper rail applied against the roof structure of the module seals the walls by a joint device arranged between the profile and the roof spar. The rail allows the establishment of facade elements by stripping and / or sliding.
- the module according to the invention comprises an additional module of smaller size mounted adjacent to one and / or the other of the pinions and centered with respect to the latter by means of brackets in projection of a pinion additional module between the posts of the main module.
- additional modules can thus simply increase the length of a module to provide either intermodule circulation spaces, or spaces dedicated to multiple uses such as the simple extension of offices and various rooms, or the creation of spaces open terraces, balconies, walkways, bow-windows or glazed gardens forming an approval of a facade of a modular building.
- a floor structure 1 formed by a rectangular frame of rectangular section tubes comprising two longitudinal members 2a and 2b and two cross members 3a and 3b. At the corners of this rectangular structure, the floor comprises stubs 4 square tubes equipped with a cross 5 (see Figures 5, 5A and 11 ) which will be used for the assembly of the structure.
- tubular angles posts 6 have, at one of their ends, a sleeve 6a, the dimensions of which are such that it can be embedded in the tubular floor stubs 4.
- a cap 7 is formed of longitudinal members 8a and 8b and webs 9a and 9b made of bent sheet metal and joined together at the corners by stubs 4 'equipped with sleeves 4' is similar to lower poles 6 intended to penetrate into these posts.
- the structure comprises for the floor joists 10 for the support of facing materials, insulation or sealing, while the ceiling has failures 11 which are intended to form a support for a cover made in principle a corrugated or corrugated sheet with a double slope the lowest are housed inside the sleepers 9a and 9b shaped oak rainwater collection.
- the assembly of the structure is effected by means of four tie rods or threaded rods 13, each of which is housed in each tubular stud 6, inside the stubs 4 and 4 ', to pass through each of the crosspieces 5.
- this abutment comprises in order to receive on each side of these cross members of the clamping and assembly nuts of the floor and the ceiling braced by the posts 6.
- the stubs 4 of the floor may be extended by kinds of tubular pyramid trunks which allow the stacking of two modules per housing of these truncated pyramids of the upper module in the stubs 4 'of the roof of the lower module.
- the figures 2 and 3 are respectively longitudinal and transverse sections of a module according to the invention on which we find the elements already described with the same references.
- the floor structure 1 comprises a floor covering 15 under which and by means of the joists 19 insulation material has been housed in the traditional manner.
- the joists, beams and cross members have square folded sheet structures such as those referenced 16 in the figures, which allow the maintenance of this insulation material in the form of panels.
- the figure 4 which is a section in a horizontal plane of the module according to the invention, shows on the one hand that the posts 6 are located on the outside of the panels of gables 17 and that the long-side walls 18 are formed of several panels juxtaposed 19 themselves outside the posts 6.
- the following figures illustrate on a larger scale this provision.
- the figure 5 which is precisely a large-scale view of detail A of the figure 4 , includes elements already described with the same references.
- the tubular post 6 is provided at an angle of a bracket or rail 20 for holding the panel or the wall 17 of the pinion and this, set back from the face 6 c the outermost of the post 6.
- the outer side face 6e of the post 6 is equipped with a profile formed by a metal profile bearing the reference 24 which determines with this face 6e a rabbet 25 in which a panel such that 19 of the long sidewall 18 of the module can be slid. Furthermore, this section 24 defines a lateral amount of facing 26 which is flush with the surface 6c of pinion of the post 6 so as to increase its visible width. Between the upright 26 and the rabbet 25, the profile 24 defines a hollow joint 27 which has an aesthetic function and which makes it possible to house the screws 28 of its fixation over the entire height of the pole 6 in a virtually invisible manner.
- the chute 21 of the figure 5 which is a simple chute for the passage of a cable, with for example a removable cover, may be replaced by a profiled structure of suitable material 29 defining a rabbet 30 for setting up no longer an outer panel of long pan 18 but of a partition of long pan 31 which is then lodged completely inside the plane in which are located the outer lateral faces 6 e of the long pan poles so that we can juxtapose two modules one provided with this partition 31 with for example an opening, a bay, an incorporated door and the other, lacking and outer wall 18 and the profile 24 so as to juxtapose exactly adjacent to one another. It can be seen that, at the level of the post, the sound and thermal insulation is preserved even when joining two modules since the layers 23 are in continuity with one another.
- the figure 6 is a detail view B of the figure 2 in which there are a cross 3b equipped floor fittings 32, 32 forming a lower rabbet for receiving the gable panel 17, these brackets 32, 32 also forming an end support 32b to the floor 15 of floor covering of the module. It will be noted in 4 a pyramidal part already mentioned the stump 4 used to stack two modules.
- This cross member 9b also comprises a folded metal fitting 34 which forms a rabbet 32 for the panel 17, to of the lower bracket shown in figure 6 .
- This bracket 34 also constitutes the lateral support of a false ceiling 35 which may optionally contain a set of trunking 36 for the introduction of technical ducts circulating parallel to the pinion walls of the module allowing in particular the intercommunication and the interconnection of the modules. juxtaposed and / or superimposed.
- the figure 8 is an enlarged view of detail D of the figure 3 .
- the floor spar 2a is removably equipped with a rail 37 which is used for supporting the panels 19 of the wall 18 of long pan.
- This rail is U-shaped upwardly open U and the bottom 37a is V-shaped so that the edge 19 of the panels resting on the bottom 37 has there rests by the edges 19 a, 19 b, which limits the friction between the rail and the panel and thus facilitates its implementation and its sliding along the long pan of the module.
- FIG. 9 Detail E of the figure 3 is shown enlarged to the figure 9 .
- the roof rail 8 is shaped folded sheet to which a rail 38 is attached removably, this rail facing the lower rail 37 for maintaining the wall of the side rail 18 formed of panels 19.
- the beam has in a lower part of the fittings 39 and 39 'also in metal profiles that allow on one hand to support the side edge of the false ceiling 35 and on the other hand, to constitute a support for a service channel 40 which, thus, runs along each side of the interior volume of the module.
- This chute 40 is of the same style as the chute 21 of the figure 5 and communicate with her.

- the longpan panels as well as the gable panels may be provided with openings such as doors or windows with fixed or opening windows totally incorporated in these panels.
- Mounting on the structure of the module consists essentially in sliding the upper part of each panel in the rails or brackets 38 and 34 of long pan and pinion so as to pass the outer edges of the rails and fittings 32 and 37 so that the song lower panels 17, 18, 19 can fall back into the rails or rabbets 37, 32.
Description
The present invention relates to a module for a modular building system, each module being designed to be juxtaposed to or stacked on other modules.
The regulations governing this type of building and the demand for the market, which is more demanding, have led to a radical overhaul of existing buildings. This new design took into account on the one hand the improvement of the comfort required by the users of product, and on the other hand the stricter regulations and this, in a perspective of marketing by rental of the modules, that is to say to say that it must also integrate transport constraints of each modular element, its customization according to the particular demand of each customer, in order to limit the costs of manufacturing, adaptation and transport that this type of marketing induces.
In order to meet these new needs in the most economical way possible, the invention therefore relates to a module for a modular building system comprising a floor which comprises a frame of rectangular form mechanically welded or bolted, a roof which also includes a form frame rectangular welded or bolted, four posts connecting the floor to the roof, in which the modules are tubular modules and have means for holding facing panels so that the panels of the gables are located inside the module relative to the poles while the long pan panels are located outside the module relative to these poles.
This feature has several advantages. One of them lies in the fact that the pinion wall of each module is set back with respect to the angles thereof. This wall is therefore at least partially protected from shocks, which is advantageous because it is usually the wall that remains the longest associated with the structure. In addition, the amounts that form the corner posts are located outside the interior volume of the module, which eliminates the thermal bridges. Finally, the juxtaposition of two modules, which is generally carried out by their long sides, can be performed in a very contiguous manner without having to compensate for the thickness of the partition, especially at floor level. It is sufficient for this purpose to remove the outer panels.
In order to obtain a rational manufacture of a module for a construction system according to the invention, each corner post is provided with an open chute on the side of the interior volume of the module. This chute is a privileged space to house all kinds of pipes, pipes or technical circuits needed to equip the module and regardless of the panels used to dress or customize.
In a preferred manner, this chute is leaned against the post by means of an insulating coating which preserves the thermal and acoustic insulation of the interior space of the module.
In order to promote the maximum integration of the technical means that are necessary for a module, including all the cable that is used for power distribution and / or the connection of the module to the different communication networks outside this one, each Ceiling beam is provided on its underside with a chute open downwards. In addition, transversely to the module, integrated or not in the ceiling, is arranged a chute or duct technical design and variable materials, but allowing in particular the intercommunication and interconnection juxtaposed modules and / or superimposed. This chute or duct may also carry lighting or signaling devices.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention which combines a technical advantage with an aesthetics of the module, the means for holding the longpan panels associated with the posts are removable and comprise a metal profile which is attached laterally to the outside of the pole. to define with the latter on the one hand an outer rabbet open to the other end post of the long pan, on the other hand a lateral amount of facing of the post flush with the pinion face of the latter, and thirdly a hollow side seal between the rabbet and the upright.
The longitudinal members of the rectangular frames forming the floor and the roof are equipped with removable outer rails facing each other for the high and low maintenance of the longpan panels, the lower rail affecting the shape of a U with a V bottom wall. This particular shape of the lower rail makes it possible to limit the contact area of a lower edge of the panel with this rail so as to allow it to slide more easily along the structure of the module for its installation or removal. The upper rail applied against the roof structure of the module seals the walls by a joint device arranged between the profile and the roof spar. The rail allows the establishment of facade elements by stripping and / or sliding.
Finally, it should be mentioned that the module according to the invention comprises an additional module of smaller size mounted adjacent to one and / or the other of the pinions and centered with respect to the latter by means of brackets in projection of a pinion additional module between the posts of the main module. These additional modules can thus simply increase the length of a module to provide either intermodule circulation spaces, or spaces dedicated to multiple uses such as the simple extension of offices and various rooms, or the creation of spaces open terraces, balconies, walkways, bow-windows or glazed gardens forming an approval of a facade of a modular building.
Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description of an embodiment thereof given below by way of purely illustrative example.
