Abstract

The present invention relates to a roof support profile (4) (2) for a construction (1) of the veranda or pergola type, which profile (4) comprises a bottom wall (41) of which a bottom surface (411) is flat. , and which profile (4) roof support comprises a gutter structure (42) for the recovery of rainwater, which gutter structure (42) extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and comprises - a bottom wall of gutter (421), and - two longitudinal gutter walls (422, 423) which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of said gutter bottom wall (421), and parallel to said longitudinal axis (L), which gutter bottom wall (421) includes a bottom surface (4211) over which storm water is intended to travel for disposal. And according to the invention, in the cross section of said profile (4) roof support, perpendicular to said longitudinal axis (L), said bottom surface (4211) of the gutter bottom wall (421) comprises at least one section in slope relative to the plane of the bottom surface (411) of said bottom wall (41). Description

Roof support profile comprising a gutter structure and construction of the veranda or pergola type incorporating such a profile

Technical field of the invention

The present invention relates to the general field of building.

It relates more particularly to constructions of the veranda or pergola type which incorporate a roof support profile comprising a gutter structure.

State of the art

Veranda or pergola-type constructions can be leaned against one of the peripheral walls of a dwelling and they include vertical side walls surmounted by a roof.

The roof is made up of a frame covered with slates, tiles or various screening panels; and part of this roof comes to rest on a structural part of a roof support profile provided at the level of the upper part of the vertical side walls of the construction.

The vertical side walls of the construction generally comprise at least one bay closed off by joinery such as a door, a window or a fixed frame, the upper crosspiece of the frame of which bears against a surface below a wall below. of said roof support profile.

The roof support profile generally includes a gutter structure connected to a rainwater downpipe, for the recovery and evacuation of rainwater from the roof.

This gutter structure extends along a longitudinal axis and comprises a gutter bottom wall bordered by two longitudinal gutter walls which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of the gutter bottom wall, and parallel to said longitudinal axis. The gutter bottom wall includes a bottom surface over which stormwater is intended to travel for disposal.

Conventionally, the bottom surface of the bottom wall of the roof support profile is flat and arranged horizontally, in particular to come to rest correctly on top of the top crosspiece of the frame of the associated joinery(ies), and to facilitate the design of the surrounding rooms.

And the bottom surface of the gutter structure also extends flat and horizontal.

As a result, after a rain there is generally a small amount of residual water which stagnates on the bottom surface of the gutter structure.

However, this residual water, even if it is not of a large volume, can lead to an accumulation of dust or debris in the gutter structure, which may ultimately disrupt the flow of rainwater.

This stagnant water can also promote the presence and proliferation of certain insects.

Presentation of the invention

In order to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks of the state of the art, the present invention proposes a roof support profile for a veranda or pergola type construction, which profile comprises a bottom wall whose bottom surface is flat,

and which profile comprises a gutter structure for the recovery of rainwater,

which gutter structure extends along a longitudinal axis and comprises - a gutter bottom wall, and - two longitudinal gutter walls which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of said gutter bottom wall, and parallel to said longitudinal axis,

which gutter bottom wall comprises a bottom surface on which the rainwater is intended to move for its evacuation,

this roof support section being characterized in that, in its cross section, perpendicular to said longitudinal axis, said bottom surface of the gutter bottom wall comprises at least one section sloping with respect to the plane of the surface below said bottom wall.

Such a sloping section ensures the almost total evacuation of water from the roof and eliminates, or at least limits, the aforementioned problems related to water stagnation on the bottom wall of the gutter.

Other non-limiting and advantageous characteristics of the roof support profile according to the invention, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations, are as follows:

- the bottom wall of the roof support section is separate from the bottom wall of the gutter;

- According to one embodiment, the roof support profile comprises a gutter bottom wall whose bottom surface is flat;

- according to a variant embodiment, the bottom surface of the gutter bottom wall has a dihedral cross-section consisting of a juxtaposition of two flat sections;

- the flat bottom surface of the gutter bottom wall, or at least one of the flat sections of the bottom surface with a dihedral cross-section of the gutter bottom wall, extends along a slope of between 2 and 6°, preferably between 3 and 4°, relative to the plane of the bottom surface of the bottom wall of the roof support profile;

- The bottom wall of the roof support profile and the gutter bottom wall are connected by at least two spacer walls together constituting at least one box closed over at least part of the width of said bottom and gutter bottom walls;

- one of said longitudinal gutter walls constitutes a wall of a structural section section intended to serve as a support structure for the roof of the construction, and possibly for a concealment mechanism;

and the other longitudinal gutter wall may be in the form of a wall which is extended by a closed box structure;

- the roof support section may comprise a longitudinal opening between, on the one hand, the longitudinal wall of the gutter opposite to that constituting said structural part of the section, and, on the other hand, the end facing the wall of below, which longitudinal opening opens into a box adapted to integrate one or more light sources, and which longitudinal opening is adapted to be closed by an attached light diffuser member;

- The roof support section can be made of one or more pieces of extruded metallic material, for example aluminum.

The present invention also relates to a construction of the veranda or pergola type comprising a roof, vertical side walls and at least one downspout,

which construction comprises at least one roof support profile as defined above,

a part of said roof bearing against a structural part of said roof support section,

and said gutter structure of said roof support profile being connected to said at least one downspout.

According to a particular embodiment, the vertical side walls of the construction comprise at least one carpentry of the door, window or fixed frame type, comprising a carpentry frame provided with a high crosspiece; and said top crosspiece of the carpentry frame bears against the bottom surface of the bottom wall of said roof support profile.

Of course, the different characteristics, variants and embodiments of the invention can be associated with each other in various combinations insofar as they are not incompatible or exclusive of each other.

Detailed description of the invention

In addition, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the appended description made with reference to the drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of embodiment of the invention and where:

is a schematic vertical cross-sectional view of a possible embodiment of a pergola-type construction comprising a roof support section according to the invention;

is a schematic vertical cross-sectional view of a possible embodiment of a veranda-type construction comprising a roof support profile according to the invention.

It should be noted that, in these figures, the structural and/or functional elements common to the different variants may have the same references.

The schematically illustrates a construction 1 of the pergola type comprising a roof 2, vertical side walls 3 and a roof support section 4 arranged in the upper part of the vertical side walls 3 and on which the roof 2 rests.

The roof 2 of the construction 1 of the pergola type can consist of a set of glazing and/or filling panels, a fabric structure, or even, as illustrated in the , into a set of adjustable metal blades.

The profile 4 roof support has a general U-shape in vertical cross section.

This profile 4 roof support comprises a bottom wall 41, a bottom surface 411 is flat and horizontal to bear on the upper part of the vertical side wall 3 opposite and underlying. It also comprises a gutter structure 42 for the recovery of rainwater, which gutter structure 42 extends along a longitudinal axis L and comprises - a gutter bottom wall 421, and - two longitudinal gutter walls 422, 423 which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of the gutter bottom wall 421, and parallel to said longitudinal axis L.

The gutter bottom wall 421 comprises a bottom surface 4211 on which the rainwater is intended to move for its evacuation towards a rainwater descent (not shown); and in accordance with the invention, in the cross section of the roof support section 4 (perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L), said bottom surface 4211 of the gutter bottom wall 421 comprises at least one section sloping with respect to the plane of the bottom surface 411 of the bottom wall 41.

In this case, the bottom surface 4211 of the gutter bottom wall 421 is here flat and it extends in a plane whose slope (a) is between 2 and 6°, preferably between 3 and 4° , relative to the plane of the bottom surface 411 of the bottom wall 41 of the section 4 roof support.

The bottom wall 411 of the profile 4 roof support is separate from the gutter bottom wall 421. The gutter bottom wall 421 extends above the bottom wall 411, separated from the latter by spacer walls 43, 43' here two in number.

The bottom wall 411 of the profile 4 roof support, the gutter bottom wall 421 and the spacer walls 43, 43', together constitute a closed box 431 over part of the width of the bottom 411 and bottom 421 walls.

Here, the spacer wall 43 extends in the extension or approximately in the extension of the longitudinal gutter wall 422; for its part, the spacer wall 43' is located approximately halfway across the bottom wall 411 of the profile 4 roof support, and the gutter bottom wall 421.

As a variant, more than two spacer walls 43, 43' can be provided to constitute a plurality of closed boxes between the bottom wall 411 and the bottom wall 421.

The longitudinal gutter wall 422 extends vertically and it constitutes a wall of a structural part of profile 44 which is oriented on the exterior side E with respect to the vertical side walls 3 and which is intended to serve as a support structure for the roof 2 of building 1.

More specifically, here, the structural section section 44 serves as a support for the pivot axes 21 of the adjustable metal blades 2 constituting the roof.

This structural part of profile 44 can also serve as a support for a concealment mechanism M, for example in the form of a rolling shutter or a blind, adapted to unfold in front of a window structure integrated into the vertical side walls 3.

The concealment mechanism M is housed in a reservation 441 of the structural part of profile 44. Its partitioning can be completed by a cowling profile 442 which fits in a removable manner on the structural part of profile 44, from the side exterior E of building 1.

The other longitudinal gutter wall 423 is oriented towards the interior side I of construction 1. This wall 423 extends vertically and it is extended by a closed box structure 424, in particular to optimize its rigidity.

This closed box structure 424 can allow the passage of technical devices, such as assembly brackets, for example.

Above the closed box structure 424 we note the presence of a vertical wing 425 providing a water seal function.

The slope (a) of the bottom surface 4211 of the gutter bottom wall 421 is oriented downward from the interior I to the exterior E of the construction 1. This slope (a) makes it possible to orient the flow of rainwater from the roof 2 towards one side of the gutter structure (in this case in the angle formed between the bottom surface 4211 and the longitudinal wall 422), with a view to their evacuation towards the descent of rainwater connected to it. The corresponding angle line extends horizontally and it is understood that the slope of the bottom surface 4211 makes it possible to limit the retention of water on this bottom surface 4211.

The downspout(s) are provided at any suitable location in construction 1. They are preferably integrated into one of the vertical posts or into some of the vertical posts of the construction, for example posts located in the corners.

On the it is noted that the section 4 roof support 2 comprises a longitudinal opening 45 located between the longitudinal wall of the gutter 423 (with its box closed 424) and the end facing the bottom wall 411, which longitudinal opening 45 is closed here by a removable shutter member 46.

This longitudinal opening 45 is oriented towards the interior I of construction 1 and it opens into a box 47 delimited by a part of the bottom wall of the gutter 421, a part of the bottom wall 41, and the spacer wall 43 ' .

This box 47 extends in the extension of the aforementioned box 431, on the side of the latter.

The box 47 is adapted in particular to integrate one or more light sources, to ensure the lighting of the interior zone I of the construction 1. The shutter member 46 consists of a light-diffusing attached member (made of transparent or translucent material ).

The profile 4 roof support can be made of one or more pieces of extruded metal material, for example aluminum. Preferably it is made in a single piece of material.

As can be seen on the , the vertical side walls 3 of the construction 1 of the pergola type can comprise at least one carpentry 31 such as a door, a window or a fixed frame, comprising a carpentry frame provided with a high crosspiece 311.

Then, preferably, the top crosspiece 311 of the carpentry frame bears against the bottom surface 411 (flat and horizontal) of the bottom wall 41 of the profile 4 roof support.

The schematically illustrates a construction 1a of the veranda type comprising a roof 2a, vertical side walls 3a and a roof support section 4a arranged in the upper part of the vertical side walls 3a and on which the roof 2a rests.

The roof 2a of the veranda-type construction 1a may consist of a set of sandwich panels, metal panels or glazing.

The profile 4a roof support has a general U-shape in vertical cross section.

This section 4a comprises a bottom wall 41a, a bottom surface 411a of which is flat and horizontal to bear against the upper part of the vertical side wall 3a opposite and underlying. It also comprises a gutter structure 42a for collecting rainwater, which gutter structure 42a extends along a longitudinal axis L and comprises - a gutter bottom wall 421a, and - two longitudinal gutter walls 422a, 423a which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of the gutter bottom wall 421a, and parallel to said longitudinal axis L.

The gutter bottom wall 421a comprises a bottom surface 4211a on which the rainwater is intended to move for its evacuation towards a rainwater descent (not shown), connected to said gutter structure 42a; and according to the invention, in the cross section of the roof support profile 4a (perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L), the bottom surface 4211a of the gutter bottom wall 421a comprises at least one section sloping with respect to the plane of bottom surface 411a of bottom wall 41a.

In this case, the bottom surface 4211a of the gutter bottom wall 421a here has a dihedral cross section, consisting of a juxtaposition of two flat sections 4211a1 and 4211a2; and at least one of said planar sections 4211a1 and 4211a2 of the bottom surface 4211a with dihedral cross section, extends in a plane whose slope (a) is between 2 and 6°, preferably between 3 and 4° , relative to the plane of the bottom surface 411a of the bottom wall 41a of the profile 4a roof support.

The two flat sections 4211a1 and 4211a2 are in convergent slope towards the center of the bottom surface 4211a.

In a variant embodiment, the convergence of the two slopes can be off-centered.

The bottom wall 411a of the roof support profile 4a is separate from the gutter bottom wall 421a. The gutter bottom wall 421a extends above the bottom wall 411a, separated from the latter by spacer walls 43a, 43a' here two in number.

The bottom wall 411a of the profile 4a roof support, the gutter bottom wall 421a and the spacer walls 43a, 43a ', together constitute a closed box 431a which extends over the entire width of the bottom walls 411a and bottom 421a.

Here, the spacer wall 43a extends in the extension or approximately in the extension of the longitudinal wall of the gutter 423a; for its part, the spacer wall 43a' extends in the extension or approximately in the extension of the longitudinal wall of the gutter 422a

As a variant, more than two spacer walls 43a, 43a' can be provided to constitute a plurality of closed boxes between the bottom wall 411a and the bottom wall 421a.

The longitudinal gutter wall 422a extends vertically and it constitutes a wall of a structural part of profile 44a which is oriented on the interior side I with respect to the vertical side walls 3a and which is intended to serve as a support structure for the roof 2a of building 1a.

More specifically, the roof 2a comprises a seat profile 2a1 which comes to rest on a complementary profile 44a1 of the structural part of the profile 44a.

A seal structure 5 is interposed between the structural part of profile 44a and the underside of the end of the roof 2a to ensure sealing at this level.

The other longitudinal gutter wall 423a faces the outer side E of construction 1a. This wall 423a extends vertically and its free end can receive a finishing profile (not shown), for example by interlocking.

The slopes (a) of the sections 4211a1 and 4211a2 of the bottom surface 4211a of the gutter bottom wall 421a make it possible to direct the flow of rainwater coming from the roof 2a towards the center of the gutter structure 42a, in view of their evacuation towards the rainwater descent which is connected to it. The corresponding angle line extends horizontally and it is understood that the two slopes of the bottom surface 4211a make it possible to limit the retention of water on this bottom surface 4211a.

The downspout(s) are provided at any suitable location in construction 1a. Preferably they are integrated in one of the vertical posts or in some of the vertical posts of the construction, for example posts located in the corners.

The profile 4a roof support can be made of one or more pieces of extruded metal material, for example aluminum. Here it is made of two pieces of material 6 and 7 connected by means 8 of thermal break.

As can be seen on the , the vertical side walls 3a of the veranda-type construction 1a may comprise at least one joinery 31a such as a door, a window or a fixed frame, comprising a joinery frame provided with a high crosspiece 311a.

As shown, the top crosspiece 311a of the carpentry frame comes to bear against the bottom surface 411a (flat and horizontal) of the bottom wall 41a of the roof support profile 4a.

Profile (4, 4a) roofing support (2, 2a) for a construction (1, 1a) of the veranda or pergola type, which profile (4, 4a) roofing support comprises a bottom wall (41, 41a) of which a bottom surface (411, 411a) is flat,
and which profile (4, 4a) roof support comprises a gutter structure (42, 42a) for the recovery of rainwater,
which gutter structure (42, 42a) extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and comprises - a gutter bottom wall (421, 421a), and - two longitudinal gutter walls (422, 422a; 423, 423a) which extend parallel to each other from the side edges of said gutter bottom wall (421, 421a), and parallel to said longitudinal axis (L),
which gutter bottom wall (421, 421a) comprises a bottom surface (4211, 4211a) over which the rainwater is intended to move for its evacuation,
characterized in that, in the cross section of said profile (4, 4a) roof support, perpendicular to said longitudinal axis (L), said bottom surface (4211, 4211a) of the gutter bottom wall (421, 421a) comprises at least one sloping section relative to the plane of the bottom surface (411, 411a) of said bottom wall (41, 41a). Profile (4, 4a) roofing support according to any one of Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that one of the said longitudinal gutter walls (422, 422a) constitutes a wall of a structural part of the profile (44, 44a) intended to serve as a support structure for the roof (2, 2a) of the construction (1, 1a) and possibly for a concealment mechanism (M). Profile (4) roof support according to claim 7, characterized in that the other longitudinal gutter wall (423) is in the form of a wall which is extended by a closed box structure (424). Profile (4) roofing support according to any one of claims 7 or 8, taken under the dependence of claim 6, characterized in that it comprises a longitudinal opening (45) between, on the one hand, the longitudinal wall of gutter (423), opposite to that (422) constituting said structural part of profile (44), and, on the other hand, the end facing the bottom wall (41),
which longitudinal opening (45) opens into a box (47) adapted to integrate one or more light sources, and which longitudinal opening (45) is adapted to be closed by an attached light diffuser member (46).
