Description

DOMAINE DE L'INVENTIONFIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention according to claim 1 relates to a lightweight building structure. It finds at least one particularly advantageous application in the field of verandas.

ARRIERE-PLAN TECHNOLOGIQUETECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND

In the field of verandas, the use of aluminum profiles makes it possible to design light and solid structures.

In particular, the low thickness of these aluminum profiles makes it possible to significantly increase the possibilities for integrating different elements such as gutters or rolling shutter boxes.

An objective associated with the design of verandas including aluminum profiles can be the search for an architecture with a minimalist appearance, favoring a visual rendering without heaviness or massive elements.

Usually a veranda includes walls, the upper part of which is generally provided with a top plate on which a roof rests. This upper part can also accommodate a gutter or gutter and possibly a roller shutter box.

The part visible at the top of the wall from outside the veranda is called the bandeau. The strip may in particular include the gutter and the roller shutter box. It can be molded for decorative purposes or, on the contrary, refined. The strip therefore contributes to the overall aesthetic of the veranda and generally constitutes a visual junction between the wall and the roof.

Several solutions have been developed to optimize the integration of rolling shutter boxes and/or gutters at the level of the strip.

For example, the document FR 2796666 B1 discloses a solution where the roller shutter box is entirely included in the thickness of the wall and acts as a top plate on which the roof rests. A gutter can also be mounted on an external face of this box.

A disadvantage of such a solution is to impose significant structural constraints on the wall. Furthermore, the whole retains a massive appearance in the eyes of an observer outside the veranda.

Les documents référencés « DE 10 2006 055803 A1 », « AT 11536 U1 » et « EP 0 155 243 A2 » décrivent également d'autres structures de véranda.The documents referenced “ DE 10 2006 055803 A1 ", " AT 11536 U1 " And " EP 0 155 243 A2 » also describe other veranda structures.

An object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages mentioned above. More particularly, the invention aims to propose a veranda structure having improved integration, particularly at the level of the strip.

RESUME DE L'INVENTIONSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a veranda structure according to claim 1 comprising at least: a vertical wall, a top plate having an internal face, a roof comprising an upper face, a lower face and at least one lateral side having a thickness h according to a vertical z axis.

According to the invention, said structure further comprises at least one roof support secured to the internal face of the sand pan, and on which the lower face of the roof rests, said support being positioned along the vertical axis z at a distance d vertical embedding of the roof relative to an upper end of the top plate so as to obtain at least partial vertical overlap between the lateral side of the roof and the internal face of the top plate, facing said lateral side.

This arrangement makes it possible in particular to embed at least part of the roof under the upper end of the top plate. The roof is thus lowered vertically in an interior space of the veranda delimited by the internal face(s) of the top plate(s). Part of the thickness of the roof is therefore masked by the sanding purlin(s) for an observer located outside the veranda.

The aesthetics of the upper part of the veranda are therefore significantly improved. In particular, for a veranda comprising a strip, the embedding of the roof in the thickness of the strip significantly reduces the massive appearance of such a veranda. For such an aluminum veranda, the visible mass of aluminum is thus considerably minimized.

According to the invention for such a veranda, the band has an upper edge and the upper face of the roof is located under a horizontal plane passing through said upper edge, at least at the level of a sewer or a lower part of the roofing. In this way, the roof is completely obscured at least at the level of the sewer by the strip for an external observer at ground level in particular.

According to one possibility, the strip comprises a gutter, said gutter comprising a bottom, a first interior edge and a second exterior edge such that the first interior edge is integral with the exterior face of the top plate; the upper face of the roof comprises an overhang extending at least partly in a plane in extension of said upper face, said overhang extending above and beyond the external face of the top plate at least up to the straight from the bottom of the gutter, so that a flow of rainwater from the roof flows directly into the gutter.

Rainwater drainage is thus very efficient, while benefiting from a particularly harmonious aesthetic.

In addition, the roof can advantageously comprise a waterproofing membrane extending over its upper face. Preferably, the membrane extends over the entire upper face of a plurality of panels. Preferably, the membrane extends over the entire upper face of all the panels. In addition to an optimized sealing function of the membrane, this contributes to a clean aesthetic appearance and improved acoustic performance.

This waterproofing membrane can be in one piece, made to measure in the factory for example, and can be assembled on site by gluing on the upper face of the roof for example, in order to avoid any drilling which could compromise the waterproofing.

The membrane can extend over the overhang and take a three-dimensional shape of the overhang guiding the water into the gutter. This design allows to install so-called flat roofs, the inclination of which does not exceed 5°. Preferably such a flat roof can have a slope of 2%.

The overhang and the membrane can then advantageously cooperate to evacuate rainwater by overflow.

Optionally, the strip can include a roller shutter box. This trunk is located under the gutter, the bottom of the gutter preferably forming an upper cover of said trunk. More particularly, the box is advantageously arranged against the external face of the top plate so that the thickness of the wall along a horizontal y axis and preferably extending perpendicularly to a wall against which the veranda is attached, is in no way constrained by the possible presence of the trunk.

The veranda structure therefore has high modularity without significant structural constraints.

The veranda structure according to the invention thus presents a particularly notable aesthetic advantage, by completely obscuring the roof in the thickness of the band, and advantages in terms of integration for a flat roof in particular and in terms of modularity.

In the remainder of the description and the claims, we mean:
  • sander purlin: a piece of framing placed horizontally, such as a beam, serving as support for the roof or the covering system, possibly via rafters. In this case, the roof preferably incorporates self-supporting panels, not requiring rafters. The top plate can rest on the top of a wall or the head of a wall. This beam can also take part of the cover costs. It can also be referred to simply as a sandpit.
  • wall: thin partition separating in this case physically or virtually the interior of the veranda from the exterior. The wall can be solid or have openings (doors, windows). It can possibly consist of a simple frame or posts. It can make it possible to support the top plate which can, alternatively or in addition, rest on substantially vertical posts located for example under each of its ends.
  • banner: the visible part at the top of the wall or wall. The strip extends mainly horizontally and can surround the upper part of the veranda structure. It can bring together functional elements (gutter, roller shutter box) and decorative elements. The appearance and aesthetics of this strip is an essential point in the overall visual rendering of the veranda structure.
  • roof sewer: the lower part of a roof slope, from which rainwater flows, possibly collected by a gutter or gutter. In this case, the sewer overhangs the gutter.
  • ridge: the upper part of the roof, by extension the top of the roof.

In the request, the ridge is preferably against masonry (wall, building facade).
  • wall edge: lateral leaning of the veranda against masonry (wall, building facade).
  • gable: side flank of the veranda.

We will now describe the present invention through a preferred but non-limiting embodiment.

In reference to the figure 1 , a first embodiment is a veranda structure 1 intended to be attached to at least one wall or building facade 80, the structure 1 comprising at least one wall 2, preferably three walls, a roof 4 and a strip 5 .

The wall 2 may comprise a rigid structure such as a low wall 21, a frame 22 and/or posts 23, fixed glazing 24 or sliding 25, as well as hinged, sliding or folding openings.

Le muret 21 peut éventuellement s'étendre verticalement sur toute la hauteur de la paroi 2, et soutenir directement la toiture 4 (non illustré).The low wall 21 can possibly extend vertically over the entire height of the wall 2, and directly support the roof 4 (not illustrated).

The slope of the roof 4 is preferably between 0 and 9%, preferably substantially equal to 2%.

The veranda structure 1 can also be attached to two building facades 80 for example (not shown). In this case, a first facade 80 is preferably located at the level of the ridge of the roof 4, and a second facade 80 perpendicular to the first facade 80 for example flanks the veranda laterally to form a wall edge.

With reference to figures 2a And 2b presenting two gable sections AA and BB as shown schematically on the figure 1 , the roof 4 is secured to the wall 2 via a sand pan 3 and a roof support 6.

According to one possibility, three sand pans 3 surmount three walls 2 so as to form a continuous frame on a perimeter of the veranda.

Advantageously, at least one, preferably two sand pans 3 are supported against the wall 80 so as to close the frame.

The top plate 3 can be supported by a post 23 at each of its ends.

La panne sablière peut de préférence former un prolongement de la paroi 2 au niveau de la partie supérieure de ladite paroi 2 selon l'axe vertical y.The top plate can preferably form an extension of the wall 2 at the level of the upper part of said wall 2 along the vertical axis y.

The top plate can be formed of at least and preferably of exactly two profiles extending in vertical planes parallel to each other.

The profiles can be connected together by at least one strip, preferably made of polyamide, whose thermal conduction coefficient is less than 0.35 W/m.K.

Preferably, the at least one bar acts as a thermal break between the two profiles.

The roof 4 can be of substantially parallelepiped shape. It may have an upper face 41 and a lower face 42, and at least one lateral side 43.

The lateral side 43 can preferably be substantially orthogonal to the lower and upper faces 42, 41.

La toiture peut présenter de préférence quatre flancs latéraux 43.The roof can preferably have four side walls 43.

Alternativement, pour d'autres formes de toiture 4, la toiture peut présenter un nombre différents de flancs latéraux (un flanc latéral pour une forme ronde par exemple, deux flancs latéraux pour une forme demi-ronde par exemple, ou plus de quatre flancs latéraux pour des formes polyédriques par exemple).Alternatively, for other roof shapes 4, the roof may have a different number of side walls (one side wall for a round shape for example, two side walls for a half-round shape for example, or more than four side walls for polyhedral shapes for example).

Dans la suite, « le » flanc latéral 43 s'entend par « ledit au moins un » flanc latéral 43.In the following, “the” lateral flank 43 is understood as “said at least one” lateral flank 43.

La toiture 4 présente notamment une épaisseur h selon un axe vertical z.The roof 4 has in particular a thickness h along a vertical axis z.

In addition, the roof 4 may include at least one self-supporting panel 40. Such a panel 40 may comprise an at least partially rigid envelope, made of aluminum for example, preferably at the level of the upper faces 41 and lower faces 42, and a core made of insulating material such as polyurethane foam (PU) for example.

The panel 40 can also be of substantially parallelepiped shape and has a thickness h' along the vertical axis z of between 50 mm and 250 mm, preferably between 55 mm and 167 mm.

This panel 40 can advantageously comprise preforms on two opposite edges or side walls so as to be able to assemble several panels 40 together.

Two panels 40 can thus be assembled edge to edge using at least one junction key. A first lateral side of a first panel may comprise one or more grooves or mortises, preferably two, capable of cooperating with one or more junction keys, preferably two, in the form of aluminum profiles for example. A second sidewall of a second panel facing said first sidewall may also comprise one or more grooves, preferably two, capable of cooperating with said junction keys.

Un tel système d'assemblage par clé de jonction permet avantageusement de rigidifier l'ensemble de la toiture 4.Such an assembly system using a junction key advantageously makes it possible to stiffen the entire roof 4.

Alternatively, different types of junction can be considered between the self-supporting panels. The second sidewall may have a shape comprising one or more tenons complementary to the first sidewall by example. Orthogonal crosspieces crossing right through the side walls of the panels 40 can also be considered.

The side walls of the panels 40 can merge with the side walls 43 of the roof 4.

The skylight may include at least one transparent material so as to allow light to pass from outside the veranda to the interior of the veranda. The skylight can be arranged through the thickness of at least one self-supporting panel 40.

The roof 4 further comprises a waterproof membrane 9 at the level of the upper face 41. This membrane 9 can advantageously and preferably be in one piece, so as to ensure perfect sealing at the level of the upper face 41 of the roof 4.

In particular, such a membrane 9 can be made to measure in the factory to the desired dimensions before installation by gluing on site.

Alternatively, the membrane 9 may comprise several strips welded or connected together.

The membrane 9 may be made of elastomer, preferably of EPDM rubber (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) and have a thickness h" of between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1.5 mm and 3 mm.

The thickness h of the roof 4 can therefore be defined by: h = h' + h"

The roof 4, and preferably the lower face 42 of the roof 4, advantageously rests on at least one roof support 6.

There Figure 4 illustrates in top view the cooperation between the roof 4 and the supports 6.

Said supports 6 can be assembled so as to preferably form a closed perimeter in the interior space of the veranda.

The side walls 43 of the roof 4 are advantageously free from any contact with the sand pans 3 and/or the facades 80.

The support 6 can be fixed on an internal face 32 of the sand pan 3, so that a support surface offered to the roof 4 by the support 6 is located at a distance d from the upper end 33 of said purlin. sand pit 3.

The distance d can be such that: 20 mm < d < h.

At the roof drain in particular, the distance d can be between: h - 10 mm < d < h.

De manière avantageuse, la toiture 4 est donc au moins partiellement encastrée selon l'axe z, dans un espace délimité par les faces internes 32 des pannes sablières 3.Advantageously, the roof 4 is therefore at least partially embedded along the z axis, in a space delimited by the internal faces 32 of the sand pans 3.

The roof 4 therefore has a vertical overlap between its lateral side 43 and the internal face 32 of the top plate 3 facing said lateral side 43.

A wedging distance of the order of 10 to 20 mm between the sidewall 43 and the internal face 32 can advantageously allow expansion of the panels 40 according to the x and/or y axes.

A tubular joint, also called joint base, with a diameter substantially equal to 20 mm can advantageously be housed in this wedging space so as to limit the effects of condensation.

The roof support 6 may have the general shape of an angle. A first wing 61 of said support 6 on which the roof 4 rests can extend from, and substantially perpendicular to, the internal face 32 of the top plate 3, over a distance of between 40 mm and 100 mm. A second wing 62 of the support 6 secured to the internal face 32 may have a height along a vertical axis z of between 40 mm and 100 mm.

The roof support 6 may preferably be continuous in the form of a profile over an entire length of the top plate 3. Alternatively, it may be discontinuous and/or present only a finite number of support points for the roof 4.

The 6 lateral roof supports, at the level of the gables, extending mainly along an axis y, are fixed on the internal faces 32 of the corresponding 3 lateral sanding purlins so as to present the desired inclination of the roof vis-à-vis of a horizontal plane. The distance d varies in this case between a minimum value for one end of the lateral roof support 6 at the level of the facade 80 of the building and a maximum value for an opposite end of said support 6, at the level of the sewer.

The roof supports 6 can also advantageously comprise sealing profiles 63, also called sealing profiles, in EPDM for example, so as to ensure a watertight connection between the roof 4 and the roof supports 6.

At least one roof support 6 is integral with at least one facade wall 80 against which the veranda is backed.

The veranda structure 1 further comprises the strip 5 combining technical and aesthetic functions.

The strip 5 in particular is configured so that the roof 4 is advantageously hidden from view of an observer outside the veranda located at ground level.

The strip 5 has in particular an upper edge 50 such that the upper face 41 of the roof 4 is located under a horizontal plane passing through said upper edge 50. Advantageously, the roof 4 can thus be completely obscured by the strip 5.

This gutter 51 comprises at least one bottom 510, an interior edge 511 and an exterior edge 512. A width L of the gutter 51, defined by the distance between the two interior and exterior edges 511, 512 can be between 10 cm and 30 cm , preferably between 13 cm and 25 cm.

Le chéneau 51 est fixé de préférence par son bord intérieur 511 à la face externe 31 de la panne sablière 3.The gutter 51 is preferably fixed by its interior edge 511 to the exterior face 31 of the top plate 3.

The gutter 51 can cooperate with at least one downspout column so as to evacuate rainwater.

Par ailleurs, les panneaux 40 de toiture 4 étant au moins partiellement circonscrits à l'espace intérieur de la véranda délimité par les faces internes 32 des sablières 3, un débord 7 est avantageusement fixé dans le prolongement de la face supérieure 41 de la toiture 4 de manière à guider un écoulement d'eaux de pluie dans le chéneau 51.Furthermore, the roof panels 40 4 being at least partially circumscribed to the interior space of the veranda delimited by the internal faces 32 of the sand pits 3, an overhang 7 is advantageously fixed in the extension of the upper face 41 of the roof 4 so as to guide a flow of rainwater into the gutter 51.

The overhang 7 can therefore extend from the panels 40 over the upper end 33 and beyond the external face 31 of the top plate 3, at least to the right of the first interior edge 511 of the gutter 51, from preferably to the right of the bottom 510 of the gutter 51.

The overhang 7 can be an advantageously thin aluminum profile having a drop-out profile, also called a drop-out profile, substantially vertical above the gutter 51. Such a drop-out profile can be obtained simply by folding for example.

The total width of the overhang 7 can be between 120 mm and 280 mm.

In particular, the overhang 7 can extend from a vertical plane as an extension of the internal face 32 of the top plate 3 to the falling profile directly above the gutter over a width of between 80 and 200 mm.

The overhang 7 can integrally cover the panel 40 at the level of the upper face 42 of the roof over a width of between 30 and 60 mm.

The overhang 7 can also include at least one wedging fin on a lower face of the overhang, said fin being able to rest against the lateral side 43 for example in order to precisely position the overhang 7 at the level of a periphery of the roof 4 .

Un joint souple 751 peut avantageusement relier le débord 7, de préférence au niveau du profil de retombée, au bord intérieur 511 du chéneau 51 ou à la face externe 31 de la panne sablière 3.A flexible joint 751 can advantageously connect the overhang 7, preferably at the level of the fallout profile, to the interior edge 511 of the gutter 51 or to the external face 31 of the top plate 3.

The joint 751 can be configured to accommodate a difference in level between the overhang 7 of the roof 4 and the gutter 51, depending on the inclination of the roof 4. It can for example have a bellows shape.

Advantageously, this joint 751 can be fitted into respective grooves of the dropout profile and the interior edge of the gutter.

This seal 751 can be made of EPDM for example.

By construction and as described previously, the distance d is maximum at the bottom of the slope at the level of the roof drain as illustrated in figure 3b . To prevent the overhang 7 from being in direct contact with the upper end 33 of the top plate 3 in the case where d is substantially equal to the maximum value, a compensating seal 330 in EPDM for example can be added at said end upper 33.

The veranda structure 1 can thus present a continuous seal between the upper face 41 extended by the overhang 7 and the fallout profile, and the seal 751 fixed to the gutter 51 or to the external face 31 of the sand pan 3.

Ce profilé de réhausse 52 peut prolonger en partie verticalement le bord extérieur 512.The strip 5 can also include an extension profile 52 secured to the outer edge 512 of the gutter 51. This extension profile 52 can partially extend the outer edge 512 vertically.

On the exterior side, it can be stylized to contribute to the aesthetics of the veranda structure 1.

This box 53 can advantageously be fixed under the gutter 51, in an extension of the outer edge 512 and/or of the raising profile 52. The bottom 510 of the gutter 51 can in particular constitute an upper cover for said trunk 53. The width of the trunk 53 can be substantially equal to the width L of the gutter 51.

In reference to the figure 3a , a retaining angle 8 at the level of the roof ridge 4 can advantageously make a connection between the upper face 41 of the roof 4 and the facade 80 of the building. The retaining angle 8 can have transverse dimensions of between 40 mm and 100 mm.

Preferably, the lateral side 43 of the roof 4 is not in contact with the facade 80. A wedging distance of around 10 to 20 mm between the side 43 and the facade 80 can advantageously allow expansion of the panels 40 along the y axis, and adaptation to the irregularities of the wall 80 for example.

A tubular joint or joint base with a diameter of around 30 mm can also be accommodated in this wedging space.

Advantageously, the membrane 9 can extend so as to cover the angle iron 8. The membrane 9 can thus be raised against the facade 80, to a height of between 40 mm and 150 mm in order to ensure good sealing at the level of the ridge.

The whole of the angle 8 and part of the membrane 9 covering the angle 8 and raised against the facade 80 can form a sealing connection between the roof 4 and the building facade 80.

A blade 81 and a cap 82 can also complete the veranda structure 1 at the ridge level.

La lame 81 peut notamment permettre un maintien mécanique de la membrane 9 contre la cornière 8 et/ou contre la façade 80.The blade 81 can in particular allow mechanical retention of the membrane 9 against the angle 8 and/or against the facade 80.

The cap 82 can advantageously protect the sealing connection against bad weather and deport a runoff of rainwater so as to improve the seal at the level of the ridge.

Another aspect relates to a method of mounting a veranda structure 1 as described above.

The veranda has a depth dimension p along the y axis, a wall height 2 (at the level of the bottom of the plate 3) H wall , a plate height 3 H plate , and a roof slope 4 called slope. The support 6 has a thickness according to z E support.

The assembly process comprises at least the following steps:
  • Position opposite the facade wall 80 and fix all the walls 2, frames 22, posts 23, top plates 3 and gutters 51.
  • Fix the support 6 horizontally on the front wall, each of its ends abutting against the plates 3 of the side walls 2. The support 6 is fixed at a height H ridge such that: H ridge = H wall + H plate - d - E support + (p X tan slope ) expressed in mm.
  • Horizontally fix the support 6 on the internal face 32 of the top plate 3 located at the front of the veranda, each end of the support abutting against the side plates 3. The support 6 is fixed at a height H front such that: H front = H wall + H plate - d - E support expressed in mm.
  • Fix the supports 6 laterally on the internal faces 32 of the side plates 3, each of their ends abutting against the supports already placed on the wall and at the front of the veranda. The side supports 6 thus have a slope equal to the roof slope.
  • Remove one of the side plates 3 so that you can slide the self-supporting panels 40.
  • Place the first panel 40, allowing approximately 15 mm of wedging with respect to the internal faces 32 of the sanding purlins 3.
  • Assemble the lower and upper junction keys in the grooves provided in the edge of panel 40.
  • Fix at least the lower junction key at the level of its ends, on the wall side and the opposite side on the top plate 3 at the front of the veranda, using fixing brackets for example.
  • Place the other panels 40 by sliding, until the last one, assembling them respectively using junction keys.
  • Replace the side plate 3 and the corresponding strip 5.
  • Place a joint filler in the space between the side walls 43 of the roof 4 and the internal faces 32 and the wall 80.
  • Place and fix the retaining angle 8 at the level of the ridge to ensure the junction between the wall 80 and the upper face 41 of the roof 4. The angle extends by approximately 115 mm on either side of the roof 4 of so that the overhang 7 can be fixed later.
  • Clip the compensating joint 330 at the upper end of the top plate 3 at the front of the veranda, and approximately 10 cm on the upper ends of the side plates 3 from the front plate 3.
  • Clip one edge of joint 751 onto overhang 7.
  • Clip an edge opposite said edge of the joint onto the interior edge 511 of the gutter 51.
  • Position the overhang 7 as an extension of the upper face 41 of the roof 4 by wedging the wedging fin of the overhang 7 against the side walls 43 of the roof 4.
  • Fix the overhang 7 on the retaining angle 8.
  • Fix the overhang 7 on the upper face 41 of the roof, using rivets for example.
  • Position and glue the waterproofing membrane 9 so as to cover the upper face 41 of the roof 4, the overhang 7 and the retaining angle 8.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments previously described but extends to all embodiments falling within the scope of the claims.
