Definitions
- the present invention relates to colored detergents which are suitable for the purification of Dishes are used in dishwashers.
- the invention relates the use of certain dyes to machine dishwashing detergents to color.
- Machine cleaners are widely described in the art. Usually contain one or more builders, bleaches, bleach activators, Corrosion inhibitors and surfactants. To give the consumer a typical and These products are commonly used to provide distinctive product both perfumed and colored.
- the dyes will be quite a number Requirements: You must already have the cleaning agent to be colored stain and allow to be permanently and visually discernible at low levels of use Will not fade or discolor even after prolonged storage or elevated temperature. For this purpose, it is necessary that the dyes used compared to the part aggressive ingredients (e.g., bleach, alkali carriers) are chemically inert and neither even decompose other ingredients. In addition, although the funds must optically but the dye may be dyed even after prolonged use.
- the part aggressive ingredients e.g., bleach, alkali carriers
- the dyes must therefore not have a pronounced substantivity to metal or plastic surfaces. It is also necessary that the dyes in Rinse can be completely removed from the dishwasher and the expiration of the Water no film or colored limescale on the dishes or in the machine leave. Because the dishes later used for the preparation and storage of food In addition, the dyes must continue to be toxicologically completely harmless.
- the currently available on the market are with predominantly water-soluble dyes colored, which solve the problems mentioned only partially.
- the invention relates to the use of dyes ® from the group Basacid Green 970 (CAS no. 19381-50-1), Supranol ® Green 6 GW (anthraquinone dye preparation with Acid Green 81), Supranol ® Green BW (anthraquinone Dye formulation with Acid Green 84), Ultramarine Blue 6394 (CAS No. 57455-37-5, CI 77007) for coloring solid or liquid dishwashing detergent.
- Basacid Green 970 CAS no. 19381-50-1
- Supranol ® Green 6 GW anthraquinone dye preparation with Acid Green 81
- Supranol ® Green BW anthraquinone Dye formulation with Acid Green 84
- Ultramarine Blue 6394 CAS No. 57455-37-5, CI 77007
- the dyes mentioned are surprisingly excellent for the Staining machine dishwashing detergent as it is stable to the detergent ingredients and neither on the dishes nor on parts of the dishwasher raise.
- the suitability for the intended use is Single case phenomena of the respective dye - already isomers of the mentioned Connections can be completely unsuitable.
- Basacid® Green 970 is chemically exactly the trisodium salt of tris- [5,6-dihydro-5- (hydroxyimino- ⁇ -N) -6-oxo- ⁇ -O) -2-naphthalenesulfonato-ferrate (III), which in CAS is indexed under the number 19381-50-1.
- Other trade names of this dye are Acid Green 1, Japan Green 401 and Naphthol Green. In the Color Index, this dye can be found under the number CI 10020 and is represented by the following formula:
- Supranol® Green 6 GW contains CI Acid Green 81 as a color component
- Supranol® Green BW contains the CI Acid Green 84. Both Dyes are available from DyStar Textile Paints (formerly Bayer).
- the blue dye used in the present invention is ultramarine blue 6394 (Synonym: Pigment Blue 29) can be used. This substance is in both the Chemical Abstracts (CAS No. 57455-37-5) and in the Color Index (CI 77007). In contrast to all other dyes useful in the practice of the present invention are This is a pigment that is not water-soluble, but only dispersed can. Although pigments are not commonly used as dyes for machine Dishwashing detergents are suitable because they are at the elevated temperatures in the machine in Migrate plastics and stain them permanently, this blue pigment has this surprisingly not on negative properties.
- the coloring of the automatic dishwashing detergents can be carried out with the aid of the above mentioned dyes are made in different ways.
- the dyes may be in the form of an aqueous solution or Dispersion incorporated in the entire agent or sprayed on the entire medium be, with the entire agent is colored homogeneously.
- an aqueous solution or Dispersion of one or more dyes to one or more ingredients of the composition is applied and the colored particles as colored particles ("speckles") in the means be introduced.
- This method has the advantage of being well-defined, on average amount of dye contained only on a certain percentage of the particles of the composition sticks and stains them more intensively.
- carrier material for the dye (s) all ingredients come from automatic dishwashing detergents, where substances from the group of phosphates, Silicates, citrates, carbonates and sulfates are used with advantage, and Sodium carbonate and sodium tripolyphosphate are preferred.
- the production of the speckle particles is usually carried out by applying an aqueous dye solution or dispersion on the carrier, wherein optionally adjuvants such as surfactants, emulsifiers, thickeners, antioxidants and additional solvents may be included in the dye solution.
- the dye solution applied to the support has a dye content of 1.0 to 15.0 wt .-%, preferably from 2.0 to 10.0 wt .-% and in particular from 4.5 to 8.0 Wt .-% on.
- adjuvants that may be included in the dye solution come especially lower alcohols such as ethanol, isopropanol and glycols into consideration.
- Solubilizers or emulsifiers which are advantageous in such dye solutions
- alkoxylated nonionic surfactants containing less than 6 alkylene oxide groups and polyethylene glycols or polypropylene glycols.
- speckles are produced, their dye content, based on the weight of the Speckles, usually between 0.1 and 1.5 wt .-%, preferably between 0.15 and 1.0 wt .-% and in particular between 0.25 and 0.75 wt .-%.
- the carrier materials usually make up more than 85% by weight, preferably more than 90% by weight and especially more than 95% by weight of the speckle weight, the remainder being further active ingredients. and adjuvants.
- the content of the funds to the mentioned dyes 0.01 to 1 wt .-%, preferably 0.02 to 0.5 wt .-% and in particular from 0.05 to 0.25% by weight, in each case based on the total agent.
- Another field of application for the visually attractive coloring of machine Dishwashing detergents are detergent tablets in which certain areas are highlighted optically by coloring.
- Color speckles in shaped bodies is in particular the coloring of at least one phase of a multiphase shaped body for automatic dishwashing in the context of present invention possible.
- multi-layer tablets are made in which one layer in color contrast with the other or the other Layer (s) forms.
- the production of ring / core tablets with different colored areas is easily possible in the context of the present invention.
- Particularly preferred is the use of said dyes in two-layer moldings, in which only one of the two layers one or contains several dyes from the mentioned group.
- Another object of the present invention is a solid or liquid machine dishwashing detergent containing builder (s), surfactant (s), bleach and optionally other conventional ingredients, the one or more dyes from the Basacid ® Green 970 (CAS No. 19381- 50-1), Supranol ® Green 6 GW (anthraquinone dye preparation with Acid Green 81), Supranol ® Green BW (anthraquinone dye preparation with Acid Green 84), ultramarine blue-6394 (CAS-No. 57455-37- 5, CI 77007).
- Preferred agents in the context of the present invention contain the abovementioned Dyes in amounts of 0.01 to 1 wt .-%, preferably from 0.02 to 0.5 wt .-% and in particular from 0.05 to 0.25% by weight, in each case based on the total agent.
