Description
- Satellitenempfangsanlagen bestehend aus einer Satellitenantenne und entsprechenden Empfangseinrichtungen, sind zunehmend auch für den mobilen Einsatz im Gebrauch, z.B. auf Fahrzeugen wie beispielsweise Wohnmobilen. Infolge des mehr oder weniger häufigen Standortwechsels ist es einerseits erforderlich, die in der Regel kleine Satellitenantenne optimal auf den zu empfangenden Satelliten auszurichten, andererseits steht oft keine Netzversorgung für den Betrieb der Satellitenempfangsanlage zur Verfügung.
- Die DE 198 34 577 A1 zeigt eine spezielle Satellitenantenne bestehend aus vielen kleinen Einzelantennen, die für Wohnmobile dimensioniert ist. Mit Hilfe von GPS kann das gesamte System durch mechanische Drehung in die gewünschte Empfangsrichtung geschwenkt werden. Das Problem der Stromversorgung ist hier nicht angesprochen.
- Die DE 42 08 101 A1 zeigt eine stationäre Satellitenempfangsanlage, deren Parabol-Reflektor nicht nur zu dem üblichen Zweck zum Bündeln der auftreffenden Strahlung auf den Brennpunkt ausgelegt ist, sondern bei dem auf dem Parabolspiegel zusätzlich ein photovoltaisches Element aufgebracht ist, das in der jeweiligen Satellitenempfangsposition des Reflektors mehr oder weniger stark auftreffende Tageslicht einem Akkumulator zuleitet, der die elektrische Energie speichert, um diese zur Energieversorgung der Satellitenantenne und der ihr zugeordneten Empfangsbauteile zu verwenden.
- Diese Lösung hat den Nachteil, dass das photovoltaische Element auf der Reflektorseite unter Umständen die Empfangseigenschaften für das Satellitensignal beeinträchtig. Mit der zwangsläufigen Ausrichtung derSatellitenantenne auf den Satelliten kann eine Optimierung der vom photovoltaischen Element abgegebenen Versorgungsleistung nicht erreicht werden, ein Energiegewinn fällt nur als Nebenprodukt an.
- Bei den in der Regel möglichst gering dimensionierten Empfangs- bzw. Reflektorflächen bei mobilen Satellitenempfangsanlagen bringt diese Lösung keine Vorteile.
- Die FR 2 762 945 zeigt eine Antenne, die eine Doppelfunktion aufweist, nämlich zur Aussendung oder zum Empfang von elektromagnetischen Signalen und zum Auffangen von Solarenergie. Hierzu sind der Krümmung des Reflektors angepasste Solarzellen über einen zentralen Teil des Reflektors der Parabolantenne verteilt, die für elektromagnetische Wellen durchlässig sein sollten.
- Die gezeigte Anordnung besitzt auch einen Motor zur Einstellung der Parabolantenne auf einen oder mehrere Satelliten, grundsätzlich wird jedoch davon ausgegangen, dass die Position der Antenne bei Ausrichtung auf einen geostationären Satelliten wie z.B. ASTRA automatisch auch "recht günstig" zur Sonnenposition steht, so dass eine "nahezu optimale" Sonneneinstrahlung bei vorgegebener Ausrichtung der Antenne auf den zu empfangenden Satelliten erwartet wird, ohne dass es weiterer Maßnahmen zur Optimierung des Solareintrags bedarf.
- Auch bei dieser Lösung treten Verluste beim Empfang des Satellitensignals auf, da die Solarzellen auf der Seite des Reflektors trotz der unterstellten Durchlässigkeit für elektromagnetische Wellen eine Dämpfung des elektromagnetischen Signals bewirken. Derartige Antennen sind daher auch wegen ihres komplexen Aufbaus nur für stationäre Anwendungen mit großen Reflektordurchmessem geeignet.
- Patent Abstracts of Japan 05248709 zeigt eine Kombination einer Parabolantenne mit einem im Bereich des Empfangs-LNB angeordneten Solarkollektor zur Wärmegewinnung, wobei im Falle des Nicht-Empfangs eines Satellitensignals motorische Mittel vorgesehen sind, um den Parabolspiegel zur Sonne hin auszurichten, also den Energieeintrag von der Sonne zu maximieren.
- Es sind auch Steuermittel vorgesehen, mit deren Hilfe unter Heranziehung des Standortes der Antenne die Richtung der einfallenden Solarstrahlung berechnet werden kann, und die über Einstellmittel die Antenne entsprechend bewegen.
- Patent Abstract of Japan 09153712 zeigt zwei unabhängige Empfangseinrichtungen, nämlich eine Planarantenne und eine "Solarbatterie", die derart der Antenne zugeordnet ist, bei einer Positionierung der Planarantenne in südwestlicher Richtung eine Positionierung der Solarbatterie in südlicher Richtung und damit zur Sonne hin erreicht wird. Eine Nachführung der Solarbatterie ist somit nicht vorgesehen.
- Patent Abstracts of Japan 02166807 zeigt die Kombination einer Parabolantenne und einer "Solarbatterie", bei der die Solarbatterie auf der Rückseite der Antenne angeordnet ist. Der Antennenkörper ist hierbei mittels einem Folienüberzug so konstruiert, dass er die eintreffende Strahlung des Satelliten reflektieren soll, aber das Licht zum dahinter angeordneten Solarelement durchlassen soll. Durch die feste Zuordnung und die gleiche Empfangsrichtung von Parabolantenne und Solarbatterie ergibt sich, dass die einfallende und gewonnene Solarenergie vom jeweils eingestellten Empfangswinkel für die Antenne abhängt; eine Optimierung ist nur insoweit möglich, als dass bei Nicht-Empfang eines Satellitensignals eine Ausrichtung auf die Sonne erfolgen kann. Auch dann ist jedoch der Wirkungsgrad der Solarelemente durch die zwangsläufige Abschwächung durch den davor angeordneten Antennenkörper beeinträchtigt.
- Eine Verwendung einer derartigen Antenne im mobilen Einsatz ist hier nicht angesprochen, und ist wegen der ungünstigen Form ohne Einstell- oder Schwenkelemente auch nicht ohne weiteres denkbar.
- Die US 6,016,120 beschreibt eine Verwendung des GPS-Systems als Positionsgeber zur Bestimmung der Ausrichtung einer Antenne, ohne Hinweis auf eine Solaranwendung.
- Die US 5,528,250 zeigt eine konstruktive Lösung für eine mobile Antenne, die derart zusammenklappbar gestaltet ist, dass im unbenutzen Zustand die Reflektorseite nach unten zeigt. Eine zusätzliche Solarnutzung ist auch hier nicht vorgesehen.
- Zusammenfassend lässt sich daher feststellen, dass die bekannten Lösungen, die durchgehend Solarelemente auf der Reflektorseite aufweisen, in einer Ablageposition zwangsläufig auch mit dem Reflektor nach oben zeigen müssten, um Solarenergie zu gewinnen. Ohne besondere Vorkehrungen würde dies bei mobiler Anwendung, z.B. auf dem Dach eines Campmobils, zu aerodynamisch ungünstigen Gestaltungen führen, bei Regen kann sich der Reflektor einer Parabolantenne mit Wasser füllen. Die bekannten, klappbaren mobile Systeme, wie z.B die aus der oben erwähnten US 6,016,120 bekannte Vorrichtung, verzichten daher auf die Solarnutzung.
- Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, den Grundgedanken eines Doppelnutzens einer Satellitenantenne, sowohl zur Einspeisung eines Satellitenempfangssignals in den entsprechenden Empfangseinrichtungen, als auch zur Gewinnung von Solarenergie, dahingehend zu optimieren, dass auch die Anwendung auf gering dimensionierte Satellitenantennen, insbesondere für den Bereich der mobilen Anwendung, möglich wird.
- Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe gemäß den Merkmalen des Schutzanspruchs 1 gelöst.
- Der Grundgedanke der Erfindung ist somit darin zu sehen, dass die Rückseite der Satellitenantenne zur Aufnahme der Photovoltaikelemente dient, wobei die bei mobilen Satellitenempfangssystemen in der Regel ohnehin vorgesehene Einstellbarkeit des Reflektors zur Maximierung des Empfangssignals dazu benutzt wird, auch eine 2-Achsen-Optimierung der von der Sonne bzw. dem Tageslicht zur Verfügung gestellten Solarenergie zu erreichen, und auch in der Ablageposition noch Solarstrom gewonnen werden kann.
- Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung kann die Positioniervorrichtung mit einem Navigationsempfänger (z.B. GPS) zusammenarbeiten, dessen Standortdaten sowohl für die Einstellung der Satellitenempfangsposition, als auch für die Einstellung der Sonnenstrahlen-Empfangsposition verwendet werden kann, der insofern also auch eine doppelte Nutzung erfährt.
- Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind weiteren Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.
- Ein bevorzugtes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nun anhand von Zeichnungen näher erläutert, es zeigen:

- eine zweite perspektivische, schematische Darstellung der Satellitenantenne in der Position P2 zur Gewinnung von Solarstrom.
- Eine Satellitenantenne 10 ist in üblicher Form als Parabolantenne oder Planarantenne ausgebildet, auf ihrer Rückseite befinden sich mehrere Photovoltaik-Elemente, die einen Solarmodul 10A bilden, auf ihrer Vorderseite befindet sich der Reflektor 10B der Empfangsantenne für das Satellitensignal.
- Die Satellitenantenne ist mittels dem oberen Ende 31A eines Bügels 31 mit dem Reflektor 10B der Satellitenantenne 10 verbunden.
- Das untere Ende 31B des Bügels 31 ist um eine horizontale Schwenkachse H-H um einen Schwenkwinkel β (Elevationswinkel) auf einer um eine Vertikalachse V-V drehbaren Dreheinheit 32 befestigt.
- Die Dreheinheit 32 ist als Fußteil ausgebildet, das beispielsweise auf dem Dach eines Wohnmobils befestigt wird.
- Durch Drehung der Dreheinheit 32 um einen bestimmten Drehwinkel α (Azimutwinkel) um die Vertikalachse V-V und Schwenkung des Bügels 31 um einen bestimmten Schwenkwinkel β um die Horizontalachse H-H ist somit prinzipiell jede Ausrichtung der Antenne auf einen bestimmten Punkt am Himmel möglich.
- In Figur 2 ist die Satellitenantenne in ihrer Ruheposition oder Ablageposition dargestellt, bei der sie mit der Reflektorseite 10B nach unten geklappt ist und das Solarmodul 10A nach oben zeigt, die Satellitenantenne befindet sich also in einer horizontalen Position, bei der zumindest eine vom Sonnenstand abhängige Gewinnung von Solarstrom durch die Photovoltaik-Elemente des Solarmoduls 10A möglich ist.
- Figur 3 zeigt die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung zur Einstellung der Satellitenantenne in Richtung X-X derart, dass das von dem geostationären Satelliten S ausgesandte Signal die Reflektorfläche 10B derart trifft, dass eine Optimierung im Sinne einer Maximierung des Empfangssignals eintritt. Diese erste Position P1 (Satellitenmodus) ist somit durch jeweils einen bestimmten Wert des Schwenkwinkels β1 um die Horizontalachse H-H und des Drehwinkels α1 um die Vertikalachse V-V gekennzeichnet.
- Bei der in Figur 4 dargestellten Position ist das Solarmodul 10A in Richtung auf die Sonne gerichtet, so dass diese zweite Position P2 (Solarmodus) durch eine entsprechende Wahl einer Verschwenkung um einen bestimmten Schwenkwinkel β2 um die Horizontalachse H-H und eine Drehung um einen bestimmten Drehwinkel α2 um die Vertikalachse V-V gekennzeichnet ist.
- Die Einstellung der Positionen P1 und P2 kann vorteilhafterweise dadurch erfolgen, dass der Dreheinheit 32 in einer entsprechenden Steuereinheit ein Navigationsempfänger zugeordnet ist, der den genauen Standort der Satelittenempfangsanlage liefert. Ausgehend von diesen Standortdaten, lassen sich damit anhand entsprechender Tabellen oder Eichwerte die Winkel α1/β1 für die Position P1 im Satellitenmodus d.h., die Ausrichtung auf den zu einem gewünschten Fernsehsender zugehörigen Satelliten S, als auch durch Wahl der Winkel β2 die Position P2 im Solarmodus errechnen, und mittels eines entsprechenden Steuersignals an die Dreheinheit 32 diese um die Vertikalachse V-V auf den errechneten Zielwinkel α1/ α2 drehen und die Satellitenantenne 10 durch entsprechende Verschwenkung des Bügels 31 um die Horizontalachse H-H auf den errechneten Zielwinkel β1/ β2 schwenken.
- Die entsprechenden Motoren für diese Steuerung sind in den Zeichnungen nicht dargestellt.
- Anhand der vom Navigationsempfänger gelieferten Positionsdaten ist es mit geeigneten Formeln in der Software der Empfangselektronik ohne weiteres möglich, einen automatischen Satellitenwechsel (mehrere Positionen P1 im Satellitenmodus) vorzunehmen.
- In der Position P2 (Solarmodus) kann anhand entsprechender Tabellen oder Eichwerte auch eine automatische Nachführung der Satellitenantenne relativ zur Sonne, beispielsweise in Minutenschritten, durchgeführt werden, wobei durch die Nutzung des Navigationsempfängers auch für diesen Zweck spezielle Sonnen- oder Helligkeitssensoren nicht mehr erforderlich sind.
- Besonders vorteilhaft bei der erfindungsgemässen Konzeption ist, dass die Nutzungsperioden des Satellitenmodus und des Solarmodus, die weitgehend den Tageszeiten entsprechen, nur wenig überlappen, so dass auch in diesem Sinne eine sehr wirtschaftliche Gesamtlösung im Sinne einer durchgängigen Nutzung der Satellitenantenne gefunden wurde.
Claims (7)
- Satellitenantenne (10) zum Empfang von Satellitensignalen ausgebildet als Parabol- oder Planar-Antenne, mit einem Reflektor (10B), mit Photovoltaik-Elementen zur Stromversorgung, mit einer von einer Steuereinheit gesteuerten Positioniervorrichtung, sodaß die Antenne zumindest auf eine erste Position (P1) zur Optimierung des Satellitensignals und eine zweite Position (P2) zur Optimierung der Leistung der Photovoltaik-Elemente einstellbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Photovoltaik-Elemente als Solarmodul (10A) auf der Rückseite der Satellitenantenne (10) und der Reflektor (10B) auf der Vorderseite der Satellitenantenne (10) angeordnet sind, dass die Antenne (10) mittels der Positioniervorrichtung um eine Horizontalachse (H-H) um einen Schwenkwinkel (β) schwenkbar ist, und dass in einer Ablageposition dieser Schwenkwinkel (β) im Wesentlichen Null Grad beträgt, wobei die Seite der Antenne (10) mit dem Reflektor (10B) nach unten geklappt ist, und das Solarmodul (10A) zu einer vom Sonnenstand abhängigen Gewinnung von Solarstrom nach oben zeigt.
- Antenne nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Positioniervorrichtung einen Bügel (31) beinhaltet, dessen oberes Ende (31A) die Antenne (10) hält, und dessen unteres Ende (31 B) um die Horizontalachse (H-H) um den Schwenkwinkel (β) schwenkbar mit einem Fußteil verbunden ist,
- Antenne nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Fußteil durch eine Dreheinheit (32) mit einer vertikalen Drehachse (V-V) und einem Drehwinkel (α) gebildet ist.
- Antenne nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Position (P1) durch einen zum optimalen Satellitenempfang erforderlichen ersten ersten Schwenkwinkel (β1) des Bügels (31) und ersten Drehwinkel (α1) der Dreheinheit (32) gebildet ist.
- Antenne nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Position (P2) durch einen zum maximalen Empfang der Sonnenstrahlung erforderlichen zweiten Schwenkwinkel (β2) des Bügels (31) und zweiten Drehwinkel (α2) der Dreheinheit (32) gebildet ist.
- Antenne nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Steuereinheit ein Navigationsempfänger zugeordnet ist, mit dessen Positionsdaten zumindest die erste Position (P1) der Positioniervorrichtung, ggf. mit Kompensation des linearen Polarisationsfehlwinkels, vorgebbar ist.
- Antenne nach Anspruch 5 und 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Positionsdaten des Navigationsempfängers auch die zweite Position (P2) zur Solarversorgung bestimmen.
