Definitions

  • the invention relates to a movable over the floor to be cleaned floor cleaning machine with a drive assembly for the method of floor cleaning machine and for driving various elements and units of floor cleaning machine, can be brought into contact with the ground, rotationally driven cleaning brush and with a at least one mechanically pivotable lifting arm content Erten container which is displaceable between an operating position in which it is in sealing engagement with the opening edge of a dirt passage opening with its opening edge, and a raised position from which it can be pivoted by releasing a holding connection in a discharge position, wherein the at least a Aushebearm part of a parallelogram linkage having a with its outer end at a distance from the articulation of the Aushebearms on the dirt container pivotally mounted on this parallel arm, the inner s end is articulated in the operating position and in the raised position of the dirt container at a machine-fixed point.
  • Such floor cleaning machines are known in various forms, for example from the US 5,377,376 , and in them threw the rotary driven cleaning brush, which usually had the form of a sweeping roller, which extended transversely to the longitudinal center plane of the floor cleaning machine, the dirt collected from the ground along a Schmutzleitkanal to a dirt passage opening.
  • the dirt container In the operating position of the dirt container this was arranged on the outside of the dirt passage opening with its opening edge sealingly fitting, so that the dirt received from the ground was collected in it.
  • the dirt container was located on at least one lifting arm, which together with a parallel arm formed a parallelogram linkage, generally on each lateral end of the dirt container attack a parallelogram linkage.
  • the Aushebearme were pivoted by means of at least one hydraulic cylinder or a electric linear actuator upwards so that the dirt container was moved from the operating position to a raised position, whereby he maintained its orientation in space due to the effect of the parallelogram. In the raised position, the operator could then move the floor cleaning machine so that the dirt container in the region of the opening of a container o.ä. was to be emptied into the dirt container.
  • the operator had to manually release a holding connection which non-pivotally coupled the dirt container to the parallelogram linkage.
  • this holding connection was released, the dirt container usually pivoted by gravity about its pivot points at the outer end of the Aushebearme so that the dirt contained in it fell out.
  • a floor cleaning machine of the type mentioned is inventively designed such that the holding connection is formed by the connection of the parallel arm with the dirt container and the machine-fixed point that the dirt container is supported when lowering the Aushebearms with dissolved holding connection against pivoting with respect to the Aushebearm in order to restore the holding connection, and that the support of the dirt container is automatically rendered inoperative after restoration of the holding connection.
  • the support of the dirt container is automatically rendered ineffective, so that the Parallelogrammgestfite or Parallelogrammgestfite the dirt container can shift back into the operating position in which the opening edge sealingly abuts the opening edge of the dirt passage opening.
  • a particularly advantageous solution for effecting the support of the dirt container is to provide an abutting on a stop surface spring whose support effect is ineffective due to deformation due to the increasing force of the lowering parallelogram linkage.
  • This spring which may be, for example, a leaf spring attached to the hopper, which cooperates with a stop surface provided on the Aushebearm holds the dirt container while in the emptying position until the holding connection is restored, ie the spring must only exert such a support effect that overcome the resistances be a return of the parallel arm and the restoration of the holding connection counteract.
  • the first guide surface is provided on the dirt container and the rigid stop at a machine-fixed point. Furthermore, can connect to the first guide surface, a second guide surface, which limits the pivoting of the dirt container when the free-coming of the rigid stop of the first guide surface, so that there is no overshoot of the dirt container.
  • the release of the holding connection can be effected in that the inner end of the parallel arm is released from the machine-fixed point.
  • the inner end of the parallel arm can be performed in a guide slot.
  • it is pivotally connected to the upper end of an auxiliary arm, the lower end pivotally connected to the floor cleaning machine connected is.
  • the auxiliary arm is held unverschwenkbar in existing holding connection, so that its connection with the parallel arm forms the machine-fixed point for this, while the auxiliary arm for releasing the holding connection from this non-pivoting holder is releasable.
  • the non-pivotal mounting of the auxiliary arm can be effected for example by engagement of a latch, which can move the operator to a release position, in this way to release the holding connection, thus causing the pivoting of the dirt container in the emptying position.
  • the detent pawl in existing holding connection, for example, in positive engagement with a provided on the auxiliary arm locking surface.
  • the in the FIGS. 1 to 8 shown floor cleaning machine has a common basic structure with a chassis 1, on the rear wheels 2 and a front wheel 6 are arranged.
  • a driver's seat 5 is provided, which has a driver's seat 6 and the various operating elements for the operation of the floor cleaning machine.
  • a rotating drivable sweeping roller 3 comes in operation in contact with the soil to be cleaned and is in FIG. 1 Turned clockwise so that it throws the dirt picked up.
  • the dirt guide channel terminating at a lower inlet opening of an air guide housing in which a filter device, not shown, above which a removable cover is provided.
  • This structure including one provided in the side wall of the air duct housing, not shown blower is in the older German patent application 103 24 825.0 described.
  • a hood 7 for example, according to the in the parallel German patent application "floor cleaning machine” ( German Patent Application No. 103 42 454.7 ) described in the applicant and, as explained there, covers the engine compartment for an internal combustion engine, not shown, with the help of which, inter alia, the blower, the sweeping roller 3 and a hydraulic motor for driving are driven.
  • the illustrated floor cleaning machine differs from that of the parallel older German patent application "floor cleaning machine” ( German Patent Application No. 103 42 454.7 ) of the applicant and in the older one German patent applications 103 24 825.0 and 103 24 826.9 described floor cleaning machines, which is hereby incorporated by reference, only in that the dirt container is shaped and supported differently.
  • the floor cleaning machine shown has a trough-shaped dirt container 10, as is already common in such floor cleaning machines, which is supported on one side by a parallelogram linkage which acts on the outer lateral ends of the dirt container. In the figures, this is provided in the direction of travel on the left side. On the other side of the Schmutzbumblelters 10 attacks only one Aushebearm, as described below as part of the Parellelogrammgestfites.
  • the parallelogram linkage includes a lifting arm 12 pivotally attached to the upper end of a support column 11 mounted on the chassis 1.
  • This support column is shown only partially in different figures to illustrate the operation of the parallelogram linkage. In these cases, the upper end of the support column 11 'of the Aushebearms provided in the figures in the direction of travel on the right side can be seen in the figures.
  • Aushebearms 12 is pivotally connected at 14 with the side wall of the dirt container 10.
  • a plate 31 is attached to the side wall of the dirt container, which carries a functionally to be described in terms of its function, made of elastically deformable plastic or rubber stop 32 and a leaf spring 33 also to be described.
  • Aushebearm 12 engages 26 pivotally engages the outer end of the piston of a hydraulic working cylinder 25 which is pivotally mounted on the chassis 1 and in a manner not shown by a hydraulic motor driven by the hydraulic pump hydraulic fluid can be supplied to the Aushebearm 12 from the operating position of the dirt container 10 according to FIG. 8 For example, in the position according to FIG. 1 to raise.
  • the corresponding lowering movement depending on the design of the hydraulic cylinder, either alone by discharging hydraulic fluid or by pushing out the hydraulic fluid causing the lifting by supplying hydraulic fluid to a counter surface of the piston of the working cylinder can be effected.
  • a parallel arm 15 is hinged at its outer end at 17 below the linkage 14 of the outer end of the Aushebearms 12 on the side wall of the dirt container 10.
  • the inner end of the parallel arm 15 is pivotally connected at 16 to the upper end of an auxiliary arm 18.
  • the auxiliary arm 18 is pivotally mounted at 19 at a housing fixed point, and it has a guide pin which engages in a guide slot in a housing-fixed guide plate 20, so that the guide pin is guided in the still to be described pivoting of the auxiliary arm 18 in the guide slot and the auxiliary arm 18 is supported.
  • the auxiliary arm 18 carries at its upper end a projection 21 which in the operating position of the dirt container ( FIG. 8 ) behind a pawl 30 ( FIG. 6 ), which is seated in a pawl housing 29 fastened to a machine-fixed point and which can be actuated by means of an actuating lever 27, which is provided adjacent to the driver's seat 6 and can be actuated by the driver sitting there, via a Bowden cable 28 against spring force from the locking position FIG. 6 can be pulled down so as to release the projection 21 and thus to release the auxiliary arm 18 from its non-pivoting holder.
  • FIG. 1 the floor cleaning machine is shown in a state in which the Aushebearm 12 of the ParallelogrammgestShes pivoted to a raised position and the dirt container 10 is positioned over a container C, in which the dirt container 10 is to be emptied.
  • the ParallelogrammgestShe in operation ie the auxiliary arm 18 is held by the pawl 30 in its non-pivotal holder, and therefore the inner end of the parallel arm 15 of the Parallelogrammgestfites is connected to a machine-fixed point, ie a holding connection between pivot point 17 of the outer end of the parallel arm 15 and the machine-fixed point available.
  • the operator pivots the operating lever 27 and thereby pulls down the pawl 30 by means of the Bowden cable 28, so that the projection 21 of the auxiliary arm 18 is released, the parallel arm 15 no longer supports the dirt container 10. Due to the position of the center of gravity of the dirt container 10, this therefore pivots about the pivot point 14 in the emptying position FIG. 2 so that it is emptied into the container C.
  • the articulation point 17 of the parallel arm 15 has performed an arcuate movement about the articulation point 14 of the Aushebearms 12, and the inner end of the Parallel arm 15 is as in FIG. 2 can be seen, under pivoting of the auxiliary arm 18 has been displaced to its lower pivot point 19 clockwise to the right.
  • FIGS. 9 to 11 is shown in partial representations another way of supporting the dirt container, in these figures for the same and each other functionally corresponding elements as in the FIGS. 1 to 8 same, but increased by 100 reference numerals have been used. Elements already described will not be described again unless it appears necessary for the understanding.
  • the dirt container 110 on its side wall (and also on the opposite side wall) on a first guide surface 133, which serves the dirt container when lowering from the position accordingly FIG. 4 by means of a machine-fixed, rigid projection 134 support. If this lead on in FIG. 9 Left end of the first guide surface 133 comes to rest, it prevents in the context of the leaf spring 33 in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 8 described that the linkage 117 of the outer end of the parallel arm 114 (in the figures) can shift counterclockwise about the linkage 114 of the outer end of the Aushebearms 112, whereby, as also in connection with the embodiment according to FIG FIGS.
  • the inner end of the parallel arm 115 is guided in its locked position. During this displacement movement, the first guide surface 133 slides over the projection 134 until the locked position of the parallel arm 115 is reached. This is the case if, as in FIG. 10 indicated, the projection 134 has arrived at the rear or right end of the first guide surface 133. Since now, as described above, to the action of the parallelogram linkage of the articulation point 117 of the front end of the parallel arm 115 (in the figures) must be shifted in the counterclockwise direction about the pivot point 114 of the front end of Aushebearms 112 comes on continuation of the lowering movement of the projection 134 of the first guide surface 133 free.
