Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shower device, in particular in the manner of a garden shower.
  • a garden shower shower devices As a garden shower shower devices are called, which are installed without permanent installation as needed with little effort outdoors.
  • the water supply typically takes place via a hose which can be detachably connected to the shower device.
  • Known such shower devices have on a relative to a stand height-adjustable support tube to a shower head with a nozzle assembly, which generates a divergent shower jet with a plurality of individual water jets.
  • the DE 87 08 556 U1 describes a two-spray shower set, in which two separate showerheads are connected to the output of a fitting via their own connecting hoses. Additional control valves may be provided on one or both shower heads.
  • One from the DE 36 37 470 A1 known shower head has two alternatively selectable outputs, of which a first shower outlet emits a plurality of individual beams and a second beam outlet a concentrated beam.
  • At one of the US 4,901,927 known double shower arrangement is arranged a first pivotable shower head near a valve and a second shower head via a curved tube pivotally attached to a second outlet of the valve. Through the valve, the first or both shower heads can be supplied with water.
  • Another shower arrangement with a first and a second alternatively selectable shower head is in the US 5,788,160 described.
  • the first shower head is fixedly arranged with respect to a wall attachment and gives off a conventional spray jet.
  • the second shower head is designed to deliver a hot water spray in the form of finely divided droplets.
  • One from the US 5,339,469 known shower arrangement has a first fixed to a Armature arranged shower head with a shower jet and connected via hoses with the fitting further showerheads, which are alternatively selectable and form a pulse jet shower head or a brush shower head.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a shower device in the manner of a garden shower, which brings particular advantages for installation in the garden or the like with a simple and inexpensive construction.
  • the invention provides by a further nozzle arrangement in the form of a spray nozzle arrangement, which sprays water in the form of single drops of at least one spray nozzle in contrast to a conventional shower spray or a pulsed spray jet, in addition to a conventional first nozzle arrangement over conventional garden showers with little effort a significant gain in Use value, wherein such a gain can be achieved both by a comparison with the first nozzle arrangement different configuration and other positioning of the other nozzle assembly.
  • Such spray nozzles are known per se and typically produce a spray pattern in which the individual drops spread approximately along a cone sheath.
  • a spray pattern can be generated in particular by the fact that water forms a vortex in a nozzle chamber and exits through a narrow nozzle ring gap.
  • the spray pattern is advantageously variable adjustable, for example, by a the gap of the annular gap changing, relative to the nozzle opening longitudinally displaceable cone body.
  • the flow rate is typically much lower for a spray nozzle than for a shower spray.
  • the spray nozzle arrangement is particularly advantageous for a garden shower because the fine droplet distribution extreme temperatures of the discharged water, especially cold water from the supply network or by solar radiation heated in a supply hose water, are perceived by the user less uncomfortable than a conventional shower jet.
  • the further nozzle arrangement is arranged according to a first advantageous embodiment together with the first nozzle arrangement in the shower head, wherein the different nozzle arrangements are individually selectable as each active nozzle arrangement.
  • a changeover between different flow paths to the individual nozzles or a displacement of the individual nozzles in front of a common outlet opening of a connecting line can be provided in the nozzle head, for example in the form of a rotatable nozzle carrier disk.
  • the further nozzle arrangement is arranged at a distance from the shower head, in the fixed position of the shower head, in particular at a lower level, in order to selectively apply water to water or body or legs when water consumption is low.
  • the further nozzle arrangement is preferably variably alignable, in particular in the case of an arrangement spaced from the shower head.
  • the shower device according to the invention preferably has, in a manner known per se, a lower stand and an upper shower head support, which is height-adjustable relative to the stand.
  • the stand may, for example, a ground spike, a heavy base plate, several feet, etc. included.
  • a stand and shower head support mechanically connecting module can advantageously also carry the other nozzle assembly and / or a shut-off valve assembly.
  • an advantageous embodiment provides shut-off valve arrangement and supply line to the further nozzle arrangement in a common valve housing, on which also the further nozzle arrangement, preferably releasably and / or variably alignable, is arranged is.
  • the common valve housing and the module for the mechanical connection of the stand and the shower head carrier are combined in one structural unit.
  • these and the first nozzle arrangement can preferably be connected to the input connection via a common connecting line, in particular by inserting a shut-off valve arrangement.
  • a shut-off valve arrangement inserted between the inlet connection and the connection lines to the first and further nozzle arrangements is preferably designed as a multi-way valve, in particular with alternative opening positions for each of the connection lines to the different nozzle arrangements at separate outlets of the shut-off valve arrangement besides a shut-off position.
  • the flow rate in the shut-off valve assembly is variably adjustable, so that the shut-off valve assembly also serves as a regulating valve.
  • the shut-off valve arrangement can be handled by means of only one operating element which, in addition to the change between a closed position and at least one open position, also enables the regulation of the flow rate and / or the switching between two separate outputs of the shut-off valve arrangement.
  • a particularly suitable valve for this purpose for example, for a switchable irrigation device from the DE 199 41 573 A1 known.
  • shut-off valve arrangement which is selectively switchable between two opening positions and for the two different opening positions different flow resistance or flow cross-sections, preferably additionally given Regulierventilfunktion different minimum flow resistance or maximum flow cross-sections.
  • both the opening positions associated outputs of the shut-off valve assembly can be merged back to the connecting line to the shower head and the opening position with the larger flow resistance or the smaller opening cross-section than Serve water saving.
  • a garden shower which is powered only from a cold water network via a supply hose, as the water in the hose heats up to the cold water temperature and in the water saving the shut-off valve assembly by the low flow rate until consumption of heated water in the supply hose more Time is available until inflowing cold water reaches the nozzle assembly.
  • the larger minimum flow resistance or the smaller maximum opening cross-section offers the advantage of finer adjustability of the flow rate.
  • the finer adjustability is also of particular advantage for the spray nozzle arrangement with the maximum flow rate even lower by the spray nozzle arrangement.
  • a larger flow resistance can also be realized by a longer flow path.
  • the shower head can advantageously be connected via a flexible hose as a connecting line to the input terminal or the shut-off valve arrangement and preferably be detachable as a hand shower of the carrier.
  • a shower head DK1 arranged with a conventional multi-jet shower BD as the first nozzle assembly (DAE) at the upper end of a water-bearing pipe VR, which on the one hand as a mechanical support for the shower head DK1 and as a connection line to the water supply from an input terminal EA serves.
  • the input terminal EA is designed as a nipple plug-in coupling.
  • the water is usually fed by means of a hose from a cold water network.
  • the lower end of the tube VR is held in a tube receiving a connection module, to which also the nipple EA is attached and which contains an inserted between nipple EA and pipe VR shut-off valve assembly VA.
  • the valve assembly VA has an operating lever BH, by means of which a valve plug is rotatable about a horizontal axis in the sketched arrangement.
  • the connecting module also serves for the mechanical connection of the tube VR as the upper part of the shower device with a running in the example as a tube SR lower stator part of the shower device.
  • the connection module is held by a holding mechanism not shown in detail, in particular a clamping mechanism on the stator tube SR and can be moved by releasing the retaining mechanism by lateral pressure on the spring-loaded release button along the stator tube SR to adjust the height of the shower head over the To reach the footprint and / or to disassemble the shower device to release the stator tube from the connection module VM.
  • An additional nozzle arrangement DAW is additionally fastened to the connection module, which in the example outlined comprises three spray nozzles SD in a horizontal row.
  • the spray pattern of the spray nozzles can be changed, for example by twisting the nozzle caps.
  • the further nozzle arrangement DAW is preferably variably alignable, for example by rotation about a horizontal axis, as indicated by a ring arrow.
  • the showerhead DK1 can also be variably aligned relative to the pipe VR.
  • connection module also serves as a valve housing, in which flow paths from the input connection to the input of the valve arrangement, from a first outlet of the valve arrangement to the connection tube VR and via a clamping receptacle for the stator tube bypassing own connection line to the further nozzle arrangement DAW are formed.
  • the valve assembly VA which in detail, for example, similar to that of DE 199 41 573 A1 known valve arrangement can be pivoted from a middle position O, in which the valve at the input port against both valve outputs and thus against both nozzle arrangements DAE and DAW blocks up to a first maximum open position I up or up to a second maximum opening position II down become.
  • a path from the inlet connection through the valve arrangement to the connection tube VR and the first nozzle arrangement DAW is released in the second open position to the further nozzle arrangement DAW.
  • the valve assembly is also designed as a regulating valve in such a way that upon pivoting of the operating lever to the maximum opening positions I and II of the flow cross section SQ by the valve assembly increases continuously monotonically up to each maximum cross-sectional values or the flow resistance is reduced to minimum flow resistance values ,
  • the maximum cross-sectional values QMI and QMII are preferably different.
  • a flow diagram with a qualitative profile of the flow cross sections SQ is in Fig. 3 outlined.
  • the pivoting ranges OI and O-II are preferably, but not necessarily, at least approximately the same size. The pivoting movements can be limited by attacks on pivot positions with the respective maximum flow cross section QMI or QMII.
  • the Regulier a valve assembly with a flow pattern of in Fig. 3 sketched kind has at a showering device like in Fig. 1 outlines the advantageous effect that through the larger maximum flow cross section in the first maximum open position, the flow rate to the first nozzle assembly can be increased so that, if necessary, a sufficiently strong shower spray is discharged from the nozzle BD.
  • the spray nozzles themselves already limit the maximum flow rate to a substantially lower value compared to a shower nozzle BD, so that a lower maximum flow cross-section is favorable for good controllability of the flow rate by means of the valve arrangement in the second open position II.
  • a shower head DK2 on a holder HK which can be clamped in different height positions on a support tube DT, detachably mounted.
  • the water-conducting connection line to the valve arrangement VA arranged at the inlet connection EA is designed as a flexible hose SL.
  • the shower head DK2 can thereby also be used as a hand-held shower head with a handle GR.
  • valve housing VG carrying the inlet connection EA as the nipple of a plug-in coupling and the connection of the connecting tube SL and containing the valve arrangement VA can in turn pass over the already closed valve housing VG Fig. 1 explained mechanism with the release button LK variably fixed along the stator tube SR and / or be removable from this.
  • Stand pipe SR and support tube DT form in the example sketched two, by a pipe sleeve RV releasably connected portions of a pipe assembly, which at the bottom End is held in a tripod stand, whose legs SF in turn are removable from a central plate ZP, so that the entire shower device for transport or storage purposes can be reduced to a small pack size.
  • the shower head DK2 advantageously contains at least one first nozzle arrangement, in particular a multi-jet showerhead BD, and a spray nozzle arrangement with at least one spray nozzle SD.
  • the two nozzle assemblies may be active, respectively d. H. be acted upon by the inflowing water through the connecting hose SL water nozzle arrangement.
  • a nozzle carrier disk carrying both nozzle arrangements can be designed to be rotatable in the indicated direction of the arrow.
  • the showerhead DK2 may include other nozzle arrangements. shower heads with several different nozzle arrangements and rotatable support for selecting a nozzle arrangement as active are well known. The combination of a conventional multi-jet shower with a spray nozzle is for a garden shower for already described reasons of particular advantage.
  • valve assembly VA leads to the in Fig. 2 sketched shower device via only one connecting line, the hose SL, to the shower head DK2 as the only water dispenser, so that in itself a simple shut-off valve, preferably with Reguliertownkeit, can be advantageously used.
  • a garden shower with, as in Fig. 2 outlined, only a water dispenser an adjustable shut-off valve arrangement with the already described in detail and in Fig. 3 graphically illustrated flow behavior of particular advantage, in which case both valve outputs are brought together again on the one connecting line.
  • a valve arrangement on the one hand, depending on the respectively selected as active nozzle arrangement analogous to the comments on Fig. 1 combined with Fig. 3 the more favorable for regulation opening position I or II are selected.
  • valve arrangement with two open positions I and II with different regulation ranges can be used in such a way that a first open position I with a larger maximum flow cross section MQI for full shower spray and a second opening position II with a smaller Maximum flow cross-section MQII is used for water-saving use.
  • the ability to hang the shower head from the wearer and close to the body by hand of particular advantage.
