Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Extrusionsprofil mit Hohlräumen, die ganz oder teilweise mit einem Partikelschaum aus einem thermoplastischen Polymer gefüllt sind, Verfahren zur Herstellung sowie die Verwendung als Rahmen für wärmedämmende Fenster oder Türen.
- Für den Einsatz im Passivhaus müssen die Fenster neben gutdämmenden Verglasungen auch Rahmen mit entsprechenden Eigenschaften aufweisen. Weit verbreitet ist dabei das Ausschäumen der Hohlkammern mit PUR—Schaumstoff oder Füllen mit Einschieblingen (Erfolgreich Energie sparen, Kunststoffe 1 (2003), Seiten 76 - 79, Carl Hanser Verlag München). Die Einschieblinge müssen der Form der Hohlkammern angepasst sein und stellen einen aufwändigen Arbeitsschritt bei der Herstellung der Fensterrahmen dar.
- Die
DE-A 195 04 601 beschreibt ein wärmedämmendes Verbundprofil zur Herstellung von Fenster- oder Türrahmen aus zwei im Abstand voneinander angeordneten Metallprofilen, die durch Isolierstege miteinander Verbunden sind. Zur Wärmedämmung wird in die Kammern ein Wärmedämmmaterial eingebracht, das in komprimiertem Zustand in einer Umhüllung eingeschlossen ist und das sich bei Wärmeeinwirkung dehnt oder reißt. - Ein wiederaufarbeitbares Stoßfängersystem aus Vollkunststoff mit einem energieabsorbierenden Polypropylenschaumkern und einer kautschukmodifizierten Polypropylenhülle ist aus
EP-B 425 923 -
EP-A-0 967 356 beschreibt ein Hohlprofil wie im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 mit einem Isoliermittel aus geschäumten Polypropylen. - Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war es, wärmedämmende Extrusionsprofile bereitzustellen, die auch bei mehreren Hohlkammern oder komplizierten Formen einfach herstellbar sind und sich insbesondere für Fenster- und Türrahmen für Passivhäuser eignen.
- Demgemäss wurde das eingangs beschriebene Extrusionsprofil gefunden. Sie eignen sich insbesondere zur Herstellung von wärmedämmenden Fenstern- oder Türrahmen. Neben der Wärmedämmung kann der Partikelschaum noch die Schalldämmung und Schwingungsdämpfung des Extrusionsprofils verbessern. Sie können ein oder mehrere Hohlräume oder Kammern aufweisen, die ganz oder teilweise mit dem Partikelschaum gefüllt sind.
- Das Extrusionsprofil besteht aus Polypropylen.
- Als Partikelschaum zur Füllung der Hohlräume werden Partikelschäume aus thermoplastischen Polymeren wie im Anspruch 1 angegeben verwendet. Die Partikelschäume können durch Expansion von expandierbaren Thermoplasten, Imprägnierverfahren, wie expandiertes Polypropylen (EPP) oder durch Extrusion von treibmittelhaltigen Polymerschmelzen zu Schaumsträngen erhalten werden und gegebenenfalls vor dem einfüllen noch nachgeschäumt werden können. In der Regel verwendet man zum Füllen Partikelschäume, die einen mittleren Durchmesser im Bereich von 1 bis 10 mm, bevorzugt im Bereich von 2 bis 8 mm und eine Dichte im Bereich von 20 bis 150 g/l, bevorzugt im Bereich von 50 bis 120 g/l auf. Bevorzugt verwendet man einen - Partikelschaum aus Homopolypropylen oder einem Copolymeren mit 0,5 bis 15 Gew.-% Ethen und/oder Buten-1 und einem Kristallitschmelzpunkt im Bereich von 120 bis 170°C.
- Zur Herstellung von Rahmen für wärmegedämmte Kunststofffenster für Passivhäuser werden Extrusionsprofile aus Polypropylen verwendet, deren Hohlräume mit einem expandierten Polypropylen-Partikelschaum (EPP) gefüllt sind. Da sowohl das Fensterprofil wie auch die Wärmedämmung aus dem gleichen Grundstoffen hergestellt und halogenfrei sind, sind sie einfach recyclierbar. Besonders bevorzugt werden Kunststofffenster-Systeme aus coextrudieren Polypropylen-Profilen mit 2 oder 3 Kammern.
- Zur Herstellung von wärmegedämmten Extrusionsprofile kann man, einen Partikelschaum aus einem thermoplastischen Polymer in eine oder mehrere Kammern eines Extrusionsprofils füllen, komprimieren und anschließend die Enden des Extrusionsprofils verschließen. Zum Füllen des Extrusionsprofils verschließt man zweckmäßigerweise ein Ende mit einem feinmaschigen Sieb und füllt und komprimiert den Partikelschaum mit Luft in das Extrusionsprofil. Die Maschenweite des Siebes richtet sich nach der Partikelgröße des Partikelschaums und dem gewünschten Druck beim Füllen und komprimieren. Um die Partikel in den Hohlräumen zu fixieren, können diese nach dem Einfüllen mit Heißluft oder Wasserdampf behandelt werden. Bei dieser Behandlung versintern die Partikel zu einem Schaumblock in Form des Hohlkammerprofils.
Claims (3)
- Extrusionsprofil aus Polypropylen das Hohlräume aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet dass die Hohlräume ganz oder teilweise mit einem Partikelschaum mit einer Dichte im Bereich von 20 bis 150 g/l aus Homopolypropylen oder einem Copolymeren mit 0,5 bis 15 Gew.-% Ethen und/oder Buten-1 gefüllt sind.
- Wärmedämmender Fensterrahmen oder wärmedämmender Türrahmen aus einem Extrusionsprofil nach Anspruch 1.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung von wärmegedämmten Extrusionsprofilen, wobei, man einen Partikelschaum mit einem mittleren Durchmesser im Bereich von 1 bis 10 mm und einer Dichte im Bereich von 20 bis 150 g/l aus Homopolypropylen oder einem Copolymeren mit 0,5 bis 15 Gew.-% Ethen und/oder Buten-1 in eine oder mehrere Kammern eines Extrusionsprofils aus Polypropylen füllt, wobei man zum Füllen des Extrusionsprofils ein Ende mit einem feinmaschigen Sieb verschließt und den Partikelschaum mit Luft in das Extrusionsprofil füllt, komprimiert und die Enden des Extrusionsprofils verschließt und wobei man den Partikelschaum nach dem Einfüllen mit Heißluft oder Wasserdampf versintert..
