Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spray cap for a spray container having a valve comprising: a nozzle for the spray container with a valve-connectable nozzle opening in a spray nozzle (see, for example, document FR-A-2695379).
- One-piece or multi-piece spray caps for spray containers of any kind are well known.
- the known spray caps have an actuator that triggers the discharge of the contents of the container upon pressure of the finger by a user.
- the can is held in the hand and operated with the index finger by pressing on an actuating button of the spray cap.
- the liquid is then discharged at a 90 ° angle to the direction of actuation.
- spray cans or containers conceivable in which such an attitude of the spray container makes handling difficult.
- the invention has for its object to provide a spray cap for spray container, which allows flexible use of the spray container with a simple operation and at the same time has a simple and robust design.
- the spray cap has a cap for a valve provided with a spray container, which has a connectable with a valve opening of the spray container neck. About the neck, which opens into the spray nozzle of the spray cap, the container contents, after exiting the valve opening, directed to the spray nozzle, where it is atomized and sprayed, for example.
- the attachment with a pivotally mounted actuator provided in a closed position, the spray nozzle at least partially hidden and protrudes in an open position of the spray cap.
- the actuator is removed from its closed position where the spray nozzle is partially or completely covered and placed in its open position. In the open position, the actuator is from the spray cap.
- the spray cap has a pressure area in the attachment near the attachment neck.
- the pressure area is provided approximately where the actuating area is located even with conventional spray caps.
- the pressure range does not necessarily require a special design, but the pressure range can be provided in the essay without special labeling.
- a wholly or partially pointing in the direction of actuation of the valve force on the pressure range or on the actuator in the open position opens the valve and thus causes the outlet of the container contents.
- the spray nozzle In the closed position of the actuating element, the spray nozzle is at least partially hidden, so that an operation is not possible.
- the valve In the open position to offer two actuation variants, in one example, the valve can be opened by pressure with the index finger on the pressure range.
- actuation of the valve can be effected by pressing the actuator protruding from the spray cap. This gives the user a greater variety and more flexible uses for a spray container with the spray cap according to the invention.
- the attachment piece runs in a first section in the direction of actuation of the valve.
- a valve actuation takes place, in that a force is exerted on the valve over the pressure area in the attachment and / or the actuating element via the attachment piece.
- the mouth section for the neck nozzle has a receptacle for a spray insert.
- the spray can be selected according to the intended use and intended use of the spray container in order to provide a suitable spray nozzle for the material and its spray conditions.
- the attachment of the spray cap has a cylindrical attachment portion with protruding projections, which engage wholly or partially on the inside circumferentially in the mounted state, a flange on the spray container.
- the attachment is connected in this way with the spray container whose valve plate is usually connected to the container body in the form of a projecting flange.
- any other form of connection of the spray cap with the spray container is conceivable. Since the spray cap and spray container with valve are assembled only after filling the spray container and are not separated from each other during their subsequent use, a cap with a simple snap or snap connection for the spray container is preferred for the spray cap.
- this has in its cylindrical attachment portion extending in the direction of actuation reinforcing ribs.
- the reinforcing ribs may be evenly distributed in the cylindrical attachment portion of the spray cap as projections which reinforce the spray cap at a small wall thickness.
- the actuator has laterally two projecting pins.
- the pins are for example provided with a round cross-section.
- the attachment has two receiving bearings for the pins.
- the reception centers can additionally with a Secured to be provided to secure the pins and thus the actuator against accidental removal from the receiving camp.
- the attachment has on its side facing away from the spray nozzle a section extending approximately to the attachment piece, which is connected to the cylindrical portion and which has the pressure area in the region of the neck. At a pressure on the pressure range of the section with the attachment piece is moved relative to the spray container, so that the applied force is passed through the attachment piece to the valve.
- the attachment for this purpose is articulated on one side only at the attachment piece or designed to be sufficiently elastic
- the connected only on one side with the attachment piece section has in its beyond the spray nozzle section a wall element having at its free end the receiving bearing for the actuating element.
- the force acting on the attachment via the receiving mounts as well as a force on the pressure region is converted into a change in position of the neck, which leads via the neck nozzle to a discharge of the container contents.
- the attachment is resiliently connected to the cylindrical attachment portion, wherein in its depressed position the stem of the valve is actuated.
- the user In contrast to the cap known from the prior art has in the spray cap according to the invention the user to choose between two different types of actuation.
- the attachment has at least one projection which cooperates with one or more projections on the actuating element.
- the cooperating projections may in this case have a ramp-shaped cross section and engage behind each other in the secured position such that a kind of snap connection for the actuating element arise.
- the attachment of the spray cap is additionally surrounded by a curved jacket element which has two jacket sections laterally of the nozzle, between which the pressure region, the spray nozzle and the actuating element are arranged.
- the curved jacket element is in each case arranged with a jacket section laterally from the spray nozzle and preferably allows the attachment with its pressure region and the spray nozzle to protrude freely in a region between the jacket sections.
- the actuating element in its closed position covers the area between the two jacket sections at least in the region of the spray nozzle.
- the spray cap thereby forms in the closed position of the actuating element an almost closed cap, so that a cover for the spray cap can be omitted.
- the actuator is secured in the closed position on the attachment.
- the actuator locks in its closed position on the essay.
- actuators and essay are provided with a latching mechanism.
- the latching mechanism is designed such that the spray nozzle has a latching nose in its mouth region and the actuating element has a corresponding latching depression.
- the detent recess is preferably provided in the side wall of a recess into which the Mouth of the spray nozzle immersed in the closed state.
- the latch is formed circumferentially around the mouth.
- the recess in the actuator preferably has such a depth that the mouth of the spray nozzle rests in the latched state at the bottom of the recess.
- the locking mechanism additionally seals the spray nozzle in its preferred embodiment.
- the spray cap is additionally equipped with a tamper-evident closure for the actuating element.
- the tamper-evident closure indicates whether the actuator has already been used or if it is still in its original state.
- the tamper-evident closure has a locking member detachably connected to the actuating member which, in its connected state, locks the operating member from opening and, preferably, also prevents access to the printing area in the attachment. By preventing the operating member from being unfolded and the printing area in the cap being obscured, the tamper-evident closure prevents the spray can from being used.
- the blocking part is preferably formed from a substantially flat body having at its sides approximately at right angles protruding portions which are provided at their ends with locking projections.
- the locking projections of the locking member engage behind a locking projection in the attachment in the closed state.
- the actuating element is connected via breakable webs with the locking part.
- the actuating element has an angled portion which is connected via the webs with the locking part.
