Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an insert for placement between a shoe and a leg provided with foot.
  • Shoe pads may be used to warm the wearer's foot, to compensate for misalignments between the shoe and the wearer's foot, to absorb moisture from the wearer's foot, and / or to avoid odor nuisance.
  • the US-A-5,727,336 discloses an inlay for placement between a shoe and a foot-worn foot having a through-laid layer facing the foot in use of the liner, the friction characteristics of which are adjusted so that the foot and legwear are common in use of the liner relative to the apertured layer of the insert.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide an alternative way to increase the stability of legwear within a shoe.
  • the anti-skid surface has a high stiction with respect to the legwear materials in contact with that surface in use of the liner so that the foot portion of the legwear maintains its position relative to the liner when the shoe is worn. In this way slipping of the material of the legwear in the shoe and wrinkling of the legwear is prevented.
  • the insert in addition to the anti-slip surface facing the foot has a further anti-slip surface facing the shoe in use of the insert.
  • This lower anti-slip surface has a high static friction with respect on the material of the insole of the shoe, so that the liner during wearing maintains its position relative to the shoe. In this way slipping of the insert in the shoe and wrinkling of the insert is prevented.
  • non-slip surface is formed from a material comprising an elastomer material.
  • the anti-slip surface is made of a transparent material.
  • the foot-facing anti-slip surface is formed of a material comprising a silicone material.
