Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Trocknen von Schlämmen. Bei diesen Schlämmen kann es sich auch um solche handeln, welche unter Umständen verkeimt sind (z. B. Mist, Gülle) oder die auch in den flüssigen Bestandteilen weitere feste Bestandteile enthalten (z. B. Strohmist).
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Schlammtrocknung vorzusehen, welche die bisherigen Nachteile vermeidet und eine ausreichend effektive Trocknungsleistung bereitstellt.
Verfahren zum Trocknen von Schlamm mittels Verdampfung von Wasser aus dem Schlamm bei gleichzeitiger Abtötung von in dem Schlamm enthaltenen Keimen, wobei der Schlamm zunächst in einem Gebäude auf einem Boden ausgebracht wird, wobei im oder unterhalb des Bodens eine Heizung installiert ist, mittels der der Boden auf eine Temperatur von wenigstens 60° vorzugsweise 80° oder mehr erwärmt wird, wobei das Gebäude ein geneigtes Gebäudedach aufweist, wobei unterhalb des Gebäudedachs eine Vorrichtung ausgebildet ist, welche aus dem Schlamm entweichenden Wasserdampf kondensiert und wobei kondensiertes Wasser aufgefangen und abgeführt wird.
