Definitions
- the invention relates to a power supply device for motorized sun protection device, such as a blind or shutter rolling. It relates more particularly to a device supply allowing the electric supply of a blind motor in the absence of wiring.
- Motorized blinds type sun protection devices are now widely used in homes, stores or businesses, on the terraces of restaurants or cafes and others. These blinds consist of a canvas connected to an animated winding tube in rotation by an electric motor so as to carry out the unwinding or the winding of said canvas.
- Such blinds are generally installed on the exterior wall of a building some time after its completion, without wiring appropriate electrical supply was provided at the time of construction. Concerning heavy masonry walls, we understand that the passage of ducts be problematic.
- Such blinds are also arranged, for example, on terraces cafes or public places. Again, their electrical operation requires the unsightly or dangerous cable routing. In the latter case, it is sometimes used storage batteries and a current motor continuous low voltage. These accumulators are often recharged by solar panels.
- the utility model DE 200.00.681 describes, for example, a form in which the photovoltaic elements are arranged on the awning load bar.
- the power supply device for motorized blinds or similar not connected to the network by wiring electric, is characterized in that it is constituted by a device removable power supply including power supply autonomous and electrical connection means allowing the connection and disconnection of said supply device to said store.
- the shape of the device power supply is that of a rod or an elongated box whose the upper part comprises the electrical connection means.
- said supply electric is of the rechargeable type such as a battery or a supercapacitor.
- the device includes at its upper part mechanical means allowing the mechanical attachment of said device to the blind, and its detachment.
- the invention also relates to the blind intended to be powered by the device, blind which is of the type constituted by a canvas connected by one of its edges of a winding tube actuated in rotation about its axis general by an electric motor, while it includes a box whose one end comprises connection means complementary, intended to cooperate with the connection means of the removable feeding device.
- the engine electric is coupled with a speed converter device operating as a lifting chopper.
- Figure 1 shows a sun protection blind at rest without that its motor is supplied with electric current.
- Figure 2 shows the removable power supply device alone disconnected from the blind.
- Figure 3 illustrates the blind with its supplied power supply by the removable supply device connected at the end of the box.
- Figures 4a, 4b, 4c are schematic views illustrating the removable feeder with different chargers possible given as examples.
- Figure 5 illustrates an alternative connection execution removable between the supply device and the blind.
- Figures 6 and 7 illustrate two other alternative embodiments of removable mechanical and electrical connection between the device and the awning.
- the invention will be described in the context of a protective blind solar and is more particularly suitable for this type of device, but it could just as easily be used with a roller shutter, without as well go beyond the scope of the invention.
- the sun protection device (1) illustrated by way of example in the Figure 1 and Figure 2, and intended to be supplied electrically by the means according to the invention, is of the blind type constituted by a canvas (2) connected by one of its edges to a winding tube (3) actuated in rotation around its general axis (X, X ') by an electric motor (4) arranged advantageously inside the winding tube as, for example example, this is described in the prior French patent published under the number 2 780 748.
- the tube can be animated by a rotational movement on itself for either wrapping completely or in parts the fabric around its periphery to place the blind in position partially or completely retracted, or cause it to unfold to unfold the fabric, thus placing the blind in the active position of total or partial protection.
- the blind of the invention is not connected to the network by electrical wiring, and that the power supply device of the invention is its only power supply, the electric motor of the blind being only powered by the power supply device of the invention.
- the power supply of the invention is therefore not a supply of emergency, but constitutes the main power since the blind is not connected to the network.
- the power supply device for the blind (1) is a mobile, self-contained removable supply device (5) between a storage position (figure 2) according to which the device is separated from the blind, and an active position (figure 3) according to which the device is connected to the blind.
- the storage position is advantageously a loading position ( Figures 4a, 4b, 4c).
- the active position the electrical connection is ensured so permanent, as illustrated in Figures 2 and 7, or so intermittent, as shown schematically in Figures 5 and 6.
- the removable supply device (5) consists of a elongated power supply box in the form of a rod (10) comprising its upper part (6) mechanical connection means and electric blinds and more particularly at one end (7) of its box (8).
- the feed rod (10) includes the feed necessary to supply the electric motor (4) of the blind.
- This power supply is autonomous and is a battery or advantageously an electrical storage element (12) of the type rechargeable such as a battery, which is sized to allow limited number of successive operations, for example 2 or 4, in order to reduce its dimensions and weight.
- the removable supply device (5) then comprises at its lower part (9), for example, one or more cells or batteries rechargeable (12), housed in a battery box (16), extending the rod (10) at its lower part.
- the charger (17a) consists of a charger base (55) intended to receive the part lower (9) of the supply device (9) which comprises appropriate charging connections (24a-24b).
- the charger (17b) is a conventional charger intended to be connected to the charging socket (31) corresponding to the removable supply device (5).
- the charger (17c) is adapted to be connected to the supply device (5) by its electrical connection arranged at its upper part, connection which is described in the following paragraph.
- Connection means are provided for connecting so removable the removable supply device (5) on the electrical circuit motor (4).
- said circuit is connected to an end box of box (15) and said connection means are, on the one hand, constituted by electrical connection means ensuring the electrical connection between the battery (12) and the electrical circuit of the engine and, on the other hand, by mechanical connection means ensuring mechanical retention and for attaching the removable supply device (5) which can some cases remain hung while hanging at the end of the box.
- the means of electrical connections also constitute the means of connections mechanical. They are formed by the cooperation of electrical contacts (13a-13b) made at the upper part (6) of the supply device removable (5) with electrical contacts (14a-14b, 14'a-14'b) correspondents arranged on the end box (15) of the box which are connected to the engine electrical circuit (4).
- the motor (4) is directly connected to the electrical contacts (14a-14b, 14'a-14'b) and includes limit switches, while the removable supply device (5) does not have a switch, nor electric inverter.
- the user takes the device removable power supply (5) after recharging with the charger appropriate (17) and suspends it in its box end location this which automatically ensures the electrical connection.
- the motor will activate the winding or unwinding of the blind and the motor will stop its actuation, either when removing the supply device removable (5), either because the end of travel has been reached.
- the removable supply device (5) can remain without disadvantage in its housing without problem until the opposite maneuver.
- a lateral connection projection (25) comprising the electrical supply contacts (13a, 13b), said projection being intended to be engaged in a corresponding housing of reception (26, 27), made at the end of the box and comprising the contacts corresponding electrical circuits (14a-14b, 14'a-14'b) of the electrical circuit engine.
- the box two receptacles for receiving the removable supply device (5), one first housing (26) comprising first electrical contacts (14a-14b) and a second housing (27) comprising second ones electrical contacts (14'a-14'b), the first housing (26) corresponding to electrical contact controlling the running of the blind, while that the second housing (27) corresponds to the electrical contacting controlling the winding of the blind.
- the user wanting to maneuver his blind will then choose to connect its power rod (5, 10) the corresponding connection housing, the first housing (26) for unwind the blind, and the second housing (27) to wind it.
- the two housings (26-27) are arranged one above the other, but it could to be otherwise.
- the first housing (26) either at one end of the box, while the second housing (27) would be disposed at the other end.
- the lower part of the removable device constitutes the gripping means for the user.
- the removable power supply device (5) a reversing switch, and this advantageously, in its lower part, which also constitutes the gripping means mentioned above.
- the electric motor (4) is coupled with a converter device (22) operating, for example, in lifting chopper.
- This device (22) is known per se and allows either to increase the operating voltage such as, for example, supplying a motor 12 volts thanks to a power supply of only 3 flights, i.e. compensate for the progressive drop in battery voltage when it dump.
- the connection means arranged at the top of the removable supply device (5) would then include keying means to ensure constant polarities at the input of the electronic device and at least a third wire indicating, from a switch, the direction of rotation.
- the removable supply device (5) has a elongated shape similar to the traditional manual crank generally used. Also, the device has a length (L) included between 70 and 170 centimeters and can be set up at any time with a view of an operation of the blind.
