Definitions
- the invention relates to a reach truck according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such an industrial truck is known, for example, from DE 198 46 000 A1 become. Its peculiarity is that the battery pack in simpler Removable from the truck and back into the truck can be used. As is well known, such trucks from a battery that needs to be recharged from time to time. It is Usual to remove the battery for charging purposes, so that a freshly charged one Battery can be put in place. This will make the Operation of the truck is only temporarily interrupted.
- known truck is the battery pack in a longitudinal direction of the Industrial truck movable out of the drive section.
- the battery pack can consist of several divided battery blocks, which are under the seat of the truck are arranged and on the load side through the mast are removable.
- a characteristic measure for a reach truck is the so-called Aisle width. It is determined from two radii from the center the front axle on the one hand to the rear corner of the drive part and on the other hand to the corner of a picked-up pallet when the pallet is pushed in Mast be pulled. A safety measure is added to these radii added. The necessary one is determined from the width of the aisle Aisle width between adjacent shelves. It goes without saying that this dimension should be as small as possible.
- the object of the invention is to achieve a reach truck to improve that its aisle width is reduced.
- the battery consists of two battery parts, which in Battery troughs are housed.
- Battery troughs are housed.
- the special feature of the invention is in that the battery troughs are attached to one wheel arm each.
- the drive part can be shortened significantly become.
- the dimensions for the driver's seat are for ergonomic reasons not to shrink below a certain limit.
- the dimension of the Driver position therefore determines the extent of the drive part or the Distance between the retracted mast and the rear end of the Driving part. This may leave a gap between the mast in the retracted position and the drive part, the but is required to place the driver in the usual seating position his right arm on a backrest above the gap allow.
- the distance between the wheel arms results from the dimensions of a pallet in Transverse direction. Therefore, the battery troughs are expediently aligned with the Inner edge of the wheel arms.
- the wheel arms have a width that is slightly smaller than the dimensions of the batteries, the cells of which are standardized Have dimensions. Therefore, the battery troughs according to the invention would be something Survive outside using commonly designed wheel arms. Therefore, in the invention Expediently chosen the width of the wheel arms so that a full support the troughs are guaranteed. This makes the reach truck something wider, but this does not limit its maneuverability in a confined space. The possibility is limited at most over usual Pallet widths exceeding the standard dimensions when the pallet is retracted Pick up a mast between the wheel arms.
- the length of the battery troughs according to the invention is preferably such that they are approximately on the front wall of the housing of the drive part adjoin and also close to the openings of the wheel arms extend in which the load wheels are arranged.
- the troughs can be formed by simple cuboid narrow boxes his. According to another embodiment of the invention, the top of the The troughs are arched. This creates a more pleasing design for the reach truck.
- an embodiment of the invention provides that the Swiveling the seat with the thrust position or the thrust adjustment of the mast is coupled so that the seat automatically returns to a starting position is pivoted back when the mast between the wheel arms is retracted.
- this embodiment of the invention for example a swiveling of the seat made arbitrarily by the driver as soon as the position of the push mast allows this. It must only ensure that none when retracting the mast Collision takes place and the seat automatically returns to the starting position is pivoted back as soon as the mast is critical of the drive part approaches.
- a direct coupling between the mast and Provide swivel seat i.e. the seat automatically by approximately 90 ° to pivot when the mast extends a predetermined distance has been.
- Such a coupling between push mast adjustment and seat pivoting can be done via a suitable gear.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 The push truck shown in perspective in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown in FIG the basic constructive parts known per se. He instructs Drive part 10 on, in a housing 12 suitable drives and Units for operating the reach truck.
- a driver's seat 14 In the drive part 12 a driver's seat 14 is also provided with only one over the backrest indicated seat 16, a steering wheel 18 and not shown in detail Operating precautions and display instruments.
- the seat 16 is like this arranged that the driver's line of sight transversely to the longitudinal axis of the Vehicle and is therefore with his right elbow on one Armrest 20 can support.
- the drive part 10 stands on at least one, not shown driven wheel. With the drive part 10 are parallel wheel arms 22, 24th connected, the load wheels 26, 28 support at the rear end. Between Radar 22, 24 is a mast 30, on its structure in detail should not be received. As can be seen from the overview of FIG. 1 and 2 results, the mast can move between an advanced position 1 and an inserted position between the wheel arms 22, 24 2 are moved back and forth. Its drive is also not shown. On the mast 30, a carriage 32 is guided and driven vertically. The carriage 32 receives prongs 34, 36, the upward curved back is hung on the carriage 32, as is also in itself is known.
- Relatively narrow cuboid troughs 40, 42 are located on the wheel arms 22, 24 established. Their width corresponds to the width of the wheel arms 22, 24. Die Wheel arms 22, 24 have raised panels in the area of the drive part 44, 46, whereby the troughs 40, 42 are secured to the side. bump her with one end on the housing 12 of the drive part 10.
- the troughs 40, 42 each take up a battery. The battery parts are total sufficient to provide the power supply for the reach truck.
- the attachment of the troughs 40, 42 is not in detail shown. It goes without saying that it must be sufficiently secure for one perfect operation is possible.
- Fig. 1 differs from Fig. 2 only in that the battery troughs 40a, 42a according to FIG. 2 have a slightly different contour than in FIG. 1.
- the Top 48 and 50 is inclined towards the load wheels 26, 28 provided, which is realized by an arcuate curvature. Thereby the troughs 40a, 42a receive an attractive appearance and are also designed to be safer in the event of collisions with people.
- the absorption capacity of the However, troughs 40a, 42a are the same as for troughs 40, 42 according to FIG. 1.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic top view of the reach truck of FIG. 2.
- the same parts are provided with the same reference symbols. It is in Fig. 3 however, the troughs 40a and 42a shown for the batteries are somewhat wider must be than the usual width for the wheel arms 22, 24. At the practical construction, however, a covering for the wheel arms 22, 24 uses that a full support of the troughs 40a, 42a is possible. This is also shown in Figures 1 and 2.
- the mast 30 is completely between the wheel arms 22, 24 retracted.
- a pallet 50 is on the fork, not shown Standard dimensions (80x1200) added. You can see that that Drive part 10 is extremely short, however, the mast can not be completely retracted to the drive part 10, rather a Leave free space 52. This space is required to give the driver the to allow necessary elbow room. He is bridged by the Armrest 20 according to Fig. 2. The free space underneath can be used as will be described below.
- Fig. 3 the entire of the mast 30 and the back of the forks 34, 36th occupied floor plan designated 54.
- the decisive factor for the use of a reach truck is the so-called Aisle width. This is determined by the radii R1 and R2. she connect the intersection of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the front Wheel axis 56, it is designated in Fig. 3 with M, with an outer corner of the Pallet (Rl) or with the outer corner of the drive part 10 (R2).
- the sum of the radii R1 and R2 plus a safety measure result in the Aisle width, which, as mentioned, is significant in the vehicle shown is smaller than with conventional reach trucks.
- the width B of the vehicle is slightly larger than conventional ones for the reasons shown Vehicles, but this is not important for its space-saving use.
- a load that is wider than the pallet 50 shown cannot be accommodated within the wheel arms 22, 24; a position of the fork according to Fig. 1 happen.
- the seat 16 shown in Figures 1 and 2 is about a vertical axis pivotable.
- the pivoting can either be done manually by the driver be done or with the help of a drive.
- the seat, the Axis of rotation in Fig. 3 is marked at 58 by a certain angle pivot, since the free space 52 for this purpose is limited for the driver's legs.
- the rays 60 in FIG. 3 indicate thereby the swivel angle ⁇ 1 with the seat swiveled. In its starting position is the driver 's line of sight perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the Vehicle.
- this value changes to 90 ° - ⁇ 1 and thus improves the visibility of the load and the ergonomics.
- the seat can also be completely moved can be pivoted through the angle ⁇ 2, that is 90 ° or more out, as indicated by the beam 62.
- the 90 ° rotated line of sight has the advantage that the driver when entering and Unpacking the pallets has better visibility or no longer is forced to twist the shoulders or head.
- the seat 16 is on a suitable arrangement shown in the drawings is not shown, coupled to the positions of the mast 30. In which Retraction of the mast in the end position according to Fig. 2 or 3 must be done be ensured that the seat swings back into the starting position in good time becomes. Automatic coupling is also possible between the seat and the mast position to provide the desired one Adjust seating position.
