Abstract

L'invention concerne un sécheur pour divers articles, en particulier pour carrosseries de véhicules (1), comprenant, de façon connue, à l'intérieur d'un bâti isolé (2), un tunnel de séchage (6) sur les parois latérales duquel (8) sont disposés une pluralité de gicleurs (25). Ces gicleurs sont utilisés pour diriger de l'air pulsé chaud contre les articles (1). L'air pulsé est aspiré du tunnel de séchage (6) par des ouvertures d'aspiration (7) au-dessous des articles (1) et est envoyé vers deux compartiments à air (13) agencés sur les côtés du tunnel de séchage (6). L'air pulsé est aspiré vers le haut, via lesdits compartiments, au moyen de soufflantes (18). Un registre de chaleur (26) prévu dans chacun des deux compartiments (13) est aligné selon une direction sensiblement verticale, lesdits registres comprenant une pluralité de sections tubulaires communiquant entre elles, qui sont traversées par de l'air primaire chaud et sont entourées par de l'air pulsé. L'air pulsé ainsi chauffé est envoyé dans des chambres de distribution d'air (24) qui sont agencées côté pression des soufflantes (18), et sont adjacentes aux parois latérales (8) du tunnel de séchage (6) et communiquent, via les gicleurs (25), avec l'espace intérieur du tunnel de séchage (6).
