Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine variable Nockenwellensteuerung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.
- Eine derartige variable Nockenwellensteuerung ist aus der
DE 100 27 080 A1 bekannt. - Aus der
DE 198 31 515 A1 ist eine derartige variable Nockenwellensteuerung bekannt. In Abhängigkeit vom Lastzustand und von der Drehzahl des Motors kann die Nockenwelle mittels einer an den Motorölkreislauf angeschlossenen Verstelleinrichtung verdreht werden. Durch die Verdrehung der Nockenwelle können die Öffnungs- und Schließzeiten sowie die Ventilüberschneidung verkürzt oder verlängert werden. Die Verdrehstellung der Nockenwelle ist durch ein Magnetventil steuerbar, das an den Motorölkreislauf angeschlossen ist. Das Motoröl wird aus der Ölwanne von der Ölpumpe angesaugt und über den Ölfilter in den Motorblock sowie in den Zylinderkopf gepumpt. Von dort strömt das Motoröl zum Magnetventil der Nockenwellensteuerung. - Bei der Fertigung neuer Motoren ist es fast unvermeidlich, dass im Motorblock bzw. Zylinderkopf Metallspäne bzw. Verschmutzungen zurück bleiben. Ferner besteht die Gefahr, dass sich Grate von Bohrungsverschneidungen der Kurbelgehäuseund/oder Zylinderkopfwandungen ablösen und über das Motoröl zum Magnetventil der Nockenwellensteuerung gelangen. Dies kann zum "Blockieren" des Kolbens des Magnetventils und somit zum Ausfall der Nockenwellensteuerung führen.
- Das Problem, däss Grate, Späne bzw. Abrieb über das Motoröl zum Magnetventil der Nockenwellensteuerung gelangen, tritt zwar meist nur in der ersten "Lebensphase" des Motors auf, z. B. bis zu einer Laufleistung von etwa 15.000 km, da danach der "Urschmutz" bzw. Späne und Grate üblicherweise von den Motorund Zylinderkopfwandungen abgespült sind. Die Rückstände können dann über das Motoröl zu den Magnetventilen der Nockenwellensteuerung gelangen und die Magnetventile schädigen. Häufig muss dann bei der Inspektion das gesamte Magnetventil ausgetauscht werden, was mit erheblichen Kosten verbunden ist.
- Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Nockenwellensteuerung zu schaffen, bei der das Problem des Ausfalls der Magnetventile in der ersten "Lebensphase" des Motors durch "Urschmutz" vermieden wird.
- Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruches 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.
- Das Grundprinzip der Erfindung besteht darin, vor dem Motoröleingang des Magnetventils ein Filter bzw. ein Sieb anzuordnen, das nach der Einlaufphase des Motors bei der Inspektion entfernt werden kann. Das Sieb ist dazu vorgesehen, während der Einlaufphase des Motors "den Urschmutz", d. h. Späne und Abrieb aus dem Motor bzw. Zylinderkopf aufzufangen und ein Eindringen in das Magnetventil zu verhindern. Nach der Einlaufphase des Motors, z. B. nach 15.000 km ist üblicherweise der gesamte "Urschmutz aus dem Motor ausgewaschen. Das Filter bzw. Sieb vor dem Motoröleingang des Magnetventils kann dann im Rahmen der Inspektion entfernt werden. Es braucht nicht durch ein neues Filter bzw. Sieb ersetzt zu werden. Das Filter bzw. Sieb verhindert ein Eindringen des "Urschmutz" in das Magnetventil. Ein verschmutzungsbedingter Ausfall des Magnetventils durch "Urschmutz" wird somit verhindert. Bei der ersten Inspektion braucht lediglich das Filter entfernt zu werden. Ein Austausch des Magnetventils erübrigt sich.
- Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb unmittelbar am Motoröleingang des Magnetventils angeordnet.
- Das Magnetventil ist bei einer Inspektion mit wenigen Handgriffen vom Motorgehäuse, insbesondere vom Zylinderkopf demontierbar. Vorzugsweise ist das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb unmittelbar am Magnetventil befestigt und kann zusammen mit dem Magnetventil ausgebaut werden. Nach dem Ausbau des Magnetventils braucht das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb lediglich noch vom Magnetventil entfernt zu werden.
- Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung weist das Magnetventil einen Schaftabschnitt auf. Der Motoröleingang des Magnetventils ist durch eine oder mehrere in Umfangsrichtung des Schaftabschnitts verteilt angeordnete radiale Bohrungen gebildet. Ferner können am Schaftabschnitt Steuerausgänge vorgesehen sein, die ebenfalls durch radiale Bohrungen gebildet sein können. Vorzugsweise weist der Schaftabschnitt des Magnetventils im Bereich des Motoröleingangs eine umlaufende Nut auf.
- Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb in diese Nut eingesetzt. Das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb kann die Form einer Manschnette haben, die in die Nut des Schaftabschnitts eingesetzt ist.
- Hinsichtlich der konstruktiven Gestaltung des Ölfilters bzw. Ölsiebs schlägt die Erfindung zwei verschiedene Varianten vor:
- a) Bei der einen Variante weist das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb einen z. B. aus Kunststoff bestehenden Trägerkörper auf, der durch zwei halbzylindrische Hälften gebildet ist, die an ihren ersten Enden über ein Schwenkgelenk miteinander verbunden sind und die an ihren zweiten Enden öffenbar, z. B. mit einem Clipverschluss miteinander verbunden. Die halbkreiszylindrischen Hälften des Trägerkörpers weisen über den Umfang verteilt mehrere Ausnehmungen auf. Ferner ist ein sich über den gesamten Umfang des Trägerkörpers erstreckendes Filter- bzw. Siebelement vorgesehen, das am Trägerkörper fixiert ist.
- b) Bei der anderen Variante ist das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb durch ein Siebblech gebildet. Das Siebblech ist vergleichbar mit einem "Schnittblech", wie es von Trockenrasierern bekannt ist. Vorzugsweise ist das Siebblech unmittelbar in die Nut des Schaftabschnitts des Magnetventils eingesetzt. Die beiden Enden des Siebblechs können beispielsweise durch Laserpunktschweißung miteinander verbunden werden. Vorzugsweise ist ein Endabschnitt der miteinander verschweißten Endbereiche des Siebbleches laschenartig verlängert. Dieser Endabschnitt fungiert als "Aufreißlasche". Bei einer Inspektion kann dann beispielsweise mit einer Spitzzange die Aufreißlasche gegriffen und das Siebblech aufgerissen und vom Magnetventilschaft entfernt werden.
- Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen im Zusammenhang mit der Zeichnung näher erläuter t. Es zeigen:

Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch die Stirnseite 1 eines Motorblocks eines V-Motors mit zwei Zylinderköpfen 2, 3. In die Stirnseite des Zylinderkopfs 2 sind zwei Magnetventile 4, 5 eingesetzt, die in bekannter Weise zur Steuerung einer Verstelleinrichtung der Nockenwellensteuerung vorgesehen sind. Im montierten Zustand sind die Magnetventile 4, 5 durch einen Deckel 6 abgedeckt. -
Fig. 2 zeigt Einzelheiten des Magnetventils 4. Das Magnetventil 4 weist einen hinteren Abschnitt 7 auf, in dem die Magnetspulen und der Anker untergebracht sind, die über einen Stromanschluss 8 mit Strom versorgt werden. Das Magnetventil 4 weist ferner einen vorderen, im wesentlichen zylindrischen Abschnitt 9 auf, der durch drei nebeneinanderliegende umlaufende Nuten 10 - 12 gebildet ist. Der Schaftabschnitt 9 weist in den Nuten 10 - 12 jeweils mehrere in Umfangsrichtung verteilt angeordnete radiale Bohrungen 15 auf, die mit dem Inneren des Schaftabschnitts 9 in Verbindung stehen. Im Inneren des Schaftabschnitts 9 ist ein durch elektrische Betätigung des Magnetventils verschiebbarer Steuerkolben angeordnet. Die mittlere Bohrung 14 bildet bei dem hier gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel den Motoröleingang des Magnetventils 4. Die anderen beiden Bohrungen 13, 15 fungieren als Steuerausgänge, die über ein Kanalsystem bzw. Leitungssystem mit der Verstelleinrichtung der Nockenwellensteuerung in Druckverbindung stehen. Das heißt, Motoröl strömt über die Bohrung 14 in das Magnetventil und über die Steuerbohrungen 13, 15 aus dem Magnetventil heraus. -
Fig. 3 zeigt eine im Zylinderkopf 2 (vgl.Fig. 1 ) vorgesehene Aufnahmebohrung 16, in die das Magnetventil 4 bzw. genauer gesagt der Schaft 9 des Magnetventils eingesetzt wird. Im Zylinderkopf 2 sind Querkanäle 17 - 19 vorgesehen, die den Bohrungen 13 - 15 im Schaft 9 des Magnetventils 4 zugeordnet sind, sowie eine ebenfalls in die Aufnahmebohrung 16 mündende Längsbohrung 20. - Das Grundprinzip der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht nun darin, vor dem Motoröleingang des Magnetventils 4, d. h. vor den Bohrungen 14 ein Ölfilter bzw. ein Ölsieb anzuordnen. Bei dem hier gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel wird das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb in die umlaufende Nut 11 des Schafts 9 des Magnetventils 4 eingesetzt.
- Die
Fig. 4 - 7 zeigen ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines solchen Ölfilters bzw. Ölsiebs 21. Das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb 21 weist einen Trägerkörper 22 auf, der, wie am besten aus denFig. 5 und 6 ersichtlich ist, aus zwei halbzylindrischen Trägerkörperhälften 22a, 22b besteht, die an einem Ende über ein Schwenkgelenk 23 miteinander verbunden sind. Das Schwenkgelenk 23 kann beispielsweise durch eine Materialeinschnürung gebildet sein. Die anderen beiden Enden 24, 25 der halbzylindrischen Trägerkörperhälften 22a, 22b bilden einen Clipverschluss.Fig. 5 zeigt den zusammengeclipsten Zustand,Fig. 6 den geöffneten Zustand. Die Trägerkörperhälften 22a, 22b weisen in Umfangsrichtung verteilt mehrere Ausnehmungen 26 - 33 auf, über die Motoröl von radial außen nach radial innen in das Magnetventil 4 strömen kann. Über die Ausnehmungen 26, d. h. über den gesamten Umfang des Trägerkörpers 22 ist ein Siebblech 34 gelegt und am Trägerkörper 22 fixiert. Das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb 21 wird im geöffneten Zustand (vgl.Fig. 6 ) über den Schaft 9 des Magnetventils 4 gestülpt und in die Nut 11 eingesetzt und anschließend zusammengeclipst. Zum Beispiel bei der ersten Inspektion, d. h. nach der Einlaufphase des Motors, wird mit wenigen Handgriffen das Magnetventil 4 demontiert und das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb 21 aus der Nut 11 entfernt. Anschließend wird das Magnetventil 4 wieder eingebaut und zwar jetzt ohne Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb. - Die
Fig. 8, 9 zeigen in schematischer Darstellung eine andere Variante eines Ölfilters bzw. Ölsiebs. Das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb ist hier durch ein manschettenartiges Siebblech 34 gebildet, das in die Nut 11 des Schafts 9 des Magnetventils eingesetzt ist. Die beiden Endabschnitte 35, 36 des Siebblechs sind hier durch eine Laserpunktschweißung 37 miteinander verbunden. Der eine Endabschnitt 36 weist zusätzlich einen laschenartigen Fortsatz 38 auf, der in Umfangsrichtung vom Endabschnitt 36 absteht. Bei der ersten Inspektion wird das Magnetventil 9 zusammen mit dem Siebblech 34 ausgebaut. Mit einer Spitzzange kann der laschenartige Fortsatz 38 gefasst werden. Anschließend wird die Naht 37 mit der Spitzzange aufgerissen und das Ölsieb 21 vom Schaft 9 des Magnetventils 4 entfernt. - Bei beiden Varianten kann also das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb wenn es verstopft ist, z. B. bei der ersten Inspektion, vom Magnetventil 4 entfernt werden. Anschließend wird das Magnetventil 4 wieder eingebaut und zwar ohne Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb.
Claims (6)
- Variable Nockenwellensteuerung für Verbrennungsmotoren, mit einer Verstelleinrichtung zum Verstellen einer Nockenwelle, wobei durch das Verstellen der Nockenwelle Öffnungs- und Schließzeiten von Ventilen des Verbrennungsmotors verstellbar sind, und die Verdrehstellung der Nockenwelle durch ein Magnetventil (4) steuerbar ist, das einen Motoröleingang (14) aufweist, der an den Motorölkreislauf angeschlossen ist und vor dem Motoröleingang (14) ein dem Magnetventil (4) zugeordnetes Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb (21) angeordnet ist, wobei das Magnetventil (4) einen zylindrischen Schaftabschnitt (9) aufweist, wobei der Motoröleingang (14) durch eine oder mehrere über den Umfang des Schaftabschnitts (9) verteilt angeordnete radiale Bohrungen (13, 15) gebildet sind, die in das Innere des Schaftabschnitts (9) münden und wobei sich das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb (21) im Bereich des Öleingangs (14) manschettenartig um den Schaftabschnitt (9) herum erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb (21) durch ein Siebblech (34) gebildet ist,
dass die Endabschnitte (35, 36) des Siebblechs (34) miteinander verbunden sind und
dass der eine Endabschnitt (36) des Siebblechs (34) einen laschenartigen Fortsatz (38) aufweist, der zum Aufreißen der Verbindung (37) der Endabschnitte (35, 36) und zum Entfernen des Ölfilters bzw. Ölsiebs (21) vom Magnetventil (4) vorgesehen ist. - Variable Nockenwellensteuerung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Magnetventil (4) ein vom Verbrennungsmotor demontierbares Bauteil ist und das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb (21) zusammen mit dem Magnetventil (4) demontierbar ist.
- Variable Nockenwellensteuerung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, wobei das Magnetventil (4) mindestens einen Steuerölausgang (13, 15) zum Ansteuern der Verstelleinrichtung aufweist.
- Variable Nockenwellensteuerung nach Anspruch 3, wobei der mindestens eine Steuerausgang (13) durch eine oder mehrere über den Umfang des Schaftabschnitts (9) verteilt angeordnete radiale Bohrungen (13, 15) gebildet sind, die in das Innere des Schaftabschnitts (9) führen.
- Variable Nockenwellensteuerung nach Anspruch 4, wobei der Schaftabschnitt (9) im Bereich des Öleingangs (14) eine umlaufende Nut (11) aufweist, in die das Ölfilter bzw. Ölsieb (21) von außen her eingesetzt ist.
- Variable Nockenwellensteuerung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Endabschnitte (35, 36) des Siebblechs (34) miteinander verschweißt sind.
