Definitions
- the present invention relates to an object protection device with an imaging sensor for the generation of images of the object to be protected and its surroundings, and with evaluation electronics for the evaluation of these images.
- the mechanical and capacitive detectors apply today because of their installation effort and a certain susceptibility to false alarms as outdated and are continuously monitored by video surveillance replaced.
- these CCTV systems offer insufficient security because the Attention of a person watching a series of screens over time inevitably wears off. Apart from that, the CCTV systems need a huge amount of data be transmitted.
- the invention is now intended to provide an object protection device in the form of video surveillance specified, which offers maximum security and not on the ability to concentrate and depends on a guardian looking at a wall of screens.
- this object is achieved in that the evaluation electronics on site in the or is provided on the sensor and forms an autonomous device with it, and that the evaluation of the pictures locally and normally no transmission of the pictures a headquarters takes place
- the autonomous object protection device thus offers the advantages of video surveillance, these are, in particular, high flexibility and little installation effort high security because the video signals are evaluated locally. On top of that, not Large amounts of data have to be constantly transferred to a central office.
- the evaluation electronics are preferably integrated in or with the imaging sensor connected.
- the imaging sensor is connected to a local alarm device, which in the event of an alarm is triggered by the evaluation electronics.
- the local alarm can be set via a relay controllable local siren separate from the device or a built-in device Miniature siren or a speech synthesizer for programmed speech output.
- local storage takes place in the event of an alarm of the images in question and / or their transmission to a center, with the latter there is a wired or wireless bidirectional communication link.
- Another preferred embodiment of the object protection device according to the invention is characterized by a passive infrared sensor, whose signals match those of the imaging Sensors are linked. This is preferably done before the signals are linked a separate preprocessing of the passive infrared sensor and the imaging sensor of these signals.
- a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention is thereby characterized that the images of the imaging sensor are opposed to changes be examined using a reference image.
- the reference image is preferably a periodically updated background image or a temporal one delayed picture.
- moving objects are recognized and tracked and checked to see if they enter one or more pre-defined zones.
- the reference image contains stable ones extracted in a learning process
- Features of the object to be monitored such as edges and it takes place in the active operating state of the device a check of the images for the presence of these stable features and thus on the presence of the object to be monitored.
- the one according to the invention referred to as detector M below
- Object protection device an imaging formed by a CMOS image sensor Sensor 1 and evaluation electronics integrated in or connected to it 2 with an alarm output 3.
- a passive infrared (PIR) sensor can also be added as an option 4 are provided, the signals of which are also fed to the evaluation electronics 2.
- the imaging sensor 1 and the evaluation electronics 2 and between the PIR sensor 4 and the evaluation electronics 2 each have a stage (not shown) for separate preprocessing of the signals of the two sensors 1 and 4 can be provided.
- the imaging sensor 1 is aimed at the object to be protected and its surroundings, captures this technically and digitizes the image. When armed, the Imaging sensor 1 at intervals of a fraction of a second each image, which after known methods either alone or together with the signal of the PIR sensor 4 is evaluated.
- EP-A-0 939 387 US 6 396 534 B1
- the alarm output 3 is connected to a local alarm device 5, which is a relay controllable siren or strobe light separate from detector M or one in detector M built-in miniature siren or a speech synthesizer for programmed speech output can.
- the alarm output 3 can be connected via a suitable wired or wireless connection to a control center 6, this connection being preferred is designed bidirectionally.
- a possible evaluation of the image of the imaging sensor 1 consists of this first using known methods, such as pixel differences in the raw or filtered image data, Comparison of features (mean, variance, edges, and so on) of pixel groups Examine changes compared to a reference image while moving objects to localize.
- the reference image can be a periodically updated background image or be a delayed picture.
- certain characteristics e.g. Size, location, geometric moments
- This can then be used for objects that are protected Approach object, derived relevant data such as size, speed and the like and pre-alarm and alarm data can be obtained from it.
- the signal of the possibly existing PIR sensor 4 is in terms of amplitude, frequency and any further parameters are evaluated, from which then certain characteristics of an object, such as its speed, the duration of its presence, etc. estimated can be.
- the signals from the two sensors 1 and 4 can be individually pre-evaluated and then combine them intelligently. This can be done by evaluating the Signals from several sensors based on different physical principles consistent detection reliability, the false alarm rate can be reduced.
- Another possibility for evaluating the signal of the imaging sensor 1 is in evaluating its image to determine whether the object to be protected changes or moved. For this purpose, stable features of the object (for example Edges) is extracted and in the active operating state of the detector M then The image then checks whether the stable features are still present. If not If this is the case, it is assumed that the object to be protected moves from its place and an alarm is triggered.
- stable features of the object for example Edges
- the image of the imaging sensor 1 can also be checked for its integral brightness and it can be when a maximum or a minimum brightness is exceeded Alarm will be triggered.
- the first would mean that the imaging sensor 1 is dazzled and the latter would indicate that the lighting in the exhibition room was switched off.
- the various evaluation methods can be combined in any way become.
- the zones corresponding to the different alarm levels can be freely defined in the monitored room. It is also possible to put the detector M into a learning mode in which he sets the alarm levels automatically or from outside. Another parameterization of the detector M (e.g. minimum object size, with / without Pre-alarm, etc.) after installation is possible.
- FIG. 2a shows one installed on the ceiling of a room Detector M, which serves to secure a plastic 8 placed on a base 7.
- the Detector M "looks" at the plastic 8 from above, in the picture taken by the detector (Fig. 2b) an alarm window indicated by dashed lines A is defined. Once an object this alarm window A penetrates, the alarm is triggered.
- a pre-alarm can be set accordingly triggered when an object moves towards the alarm window A and an intrusion in this is imminent.
- Fig. 3 shows a detector M mounted on a first wall, which is used to secure against a Paintings 9 suspended perpendicular to the first wall and the second wall is.
- the alarm window A is at a distance from and parallel to the second wall trending virtual wall.
Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- ein Blockschaltbild einer erfindungsgemässen Objektschutz-Einrichtung;
- Fig. 2, 2b
- ein erstes Anwendungsbeispiel der Einrichtung von Fig. 1; und
