Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for production of at least two-layer tissue products and / or tissue-like material by means of an embossing unit and a method for producing such products.
- Tissue and / or tissue-like material can be found in many different ways Use. Such materials become, for example Toilet paper, handkerchiefs, kitchen rolls, napkins, Paper tablecloths, absorbent pads, paper towels, wipes, Cleaning cloths or the like manufactured more.
- tissue is understood to be a product which corresponds to DIN 6730. Accordingly, tissue is a product that consists entirely or predominantly of cellulose fibers with a fine and soft crepe and closed formation in the paper machine with a dry content of more than 90% is crepe, consists of one or more layers, is particularly absorbent, an area-related Mass of the individual layer of ⁇ 25 g / m 2 before creping and a crepe wet elongation greater than 5%.
- tissue-like material is understood to mean a material which, in contrast to tissue material, is produced by changes in the drying process.
- tissue-like material is a product predominantly made of cellulose fibers with large and wide crepe and open formation, which is dry-crepe in the paper machine and consists of one or more layers, the area-related mass of one layer before the crepe being less than 25 g / m 2 and the wet creping of a layer after creping is greater than 25%.
- the material can also be made from waste paper.
- micro-embossings with a few embossing points (approximately 6 to 20 embossing points / cm 2 ) or many embossing points (approximately 25 to 65 embossing points / cm 2 ) - called micro-embossing - are produced in this way, in particular full-surface micro-embossing.
- the embossing roller is driven here, whereas the elastic counter-roller runs in a friction-driven manner by contact with the embossing roller.
- the impact of the embossing points on the tissue material creates both elastic and plastic deformations. Due to the plastic deformations, the at least two layers of material that are embossed with one another interlock at least partially with one another. This primarily prevents the displacement of the at least two layers of the manufactured product from one another. A functioning layer adhesion is not achieved by this.
- the tissue layers previously embossed using the above method are knurled with an additional knurling mechanism.
- an additional embossed structure is created on the pre-embossed tissue material in the form of uninterrupted patterns (for example lines or dots) arranged in the running direction via individually mounted knurled disks which work against a driven smooth roller.
- the knurled wheels run with friction.
- press pressures of up to about 500 N / mm 2 act on the pre-embossed tissue product.
- a disadvantage of using an additional knurling mechanism is that only continuous and uninterrupted patterns can be achieved with pre-embossed patterns, and the softness of the tissue product is also reduced in the area of the knurling structure applied.
- Another disadvantage of the use of a knurling mechanism is that only uninterrupted embossing marks can be realized in the running direction of the tissue webs. This means that embossing cannot be applied.
- a particularly well-known one, especially of toilet paper The problem is that of the so-called slipped perforation.
- This is, for example, from a multi-ply toilet paper roll to prevent the accidental Turning over a sporadic, insufficient Tied up tissue layer around the toilet paper roll.
- the perforation line lies between the individual Toilet paper sheets no longer on top of each other. This occurs especially often at the beginning of a toilet paper roll, when the first sheet with the layer below it is glued from toilet paper sheets, is released.
- the Problem of slipped perforation does not occur in all Known embossing processes producing layer adhesion.
- the nip of the two Rollers can be set extremely precisely, otherwise would damage the two rollers running against each other.
- Union stamping Tissue products afterwards with the help of a knurling machine knurled.
- Multi-layer tissue products are also manufactured using the so-called point / smooth embossing process.
- a steel roller provided with embossing elements and a smooth steel roller are arranged with respect to one another in such a way that a defined distance is obtained between them. This distance is achieved through complex column settings.
- the starting material webs are so densely compressed when they are passed through the gap between the smooth roller and the embossing roller that the layers are fixed to one another.
- the pressure required for this must be applied via the roller construction itself.
- the pressing pressures used here are in a range of approximately 230 N / mm 2 . Due to this high pressure, this process is limited to narrow material web widths, for example handkerchief lines.
- this method can be used to apply format embossing in the form of longitudinal or transverse lines, as is known, for example, from handkerchiefs.
- the absence of support of the embossing roller relative to the smooth roller would result in the embossing roller "striking through” or “lifting off”.
- this leads to damage to the embossing roller ("flattening of the embossing points") by touching the embossing points on the smooth roller.
- the compensation of the load changes between the embossing and the smooth roller between the application of the longitudinal and transverse lines is difficult to get under control.
- embossing i.e. Embossing training, by means of which object pattern, for example flowers or similar on Tissue products can be applied, for example generated by additional embossing / gluing units.
- object pattern for example flowers or similar on Tissue products
- additional embossing / gluing units for example generated by additional embossing / gluing units.
- embossing roller in the area of the desired Jewelery embossing for example, omitted a few stamping points, in the form of the desired design pattern.
- embossing alone does not ensure sufficient layer adhesion mediates, this increases rather in comparison full-surface micro-embossed products, so that gluing with the aforementioned disadvantages and / or knurling is inevitable by means of a downstream knurling mechanism.
- the good knurling is achieved by the subsequent knurling Impression of the products destroyed again, in particular if the knurling runs over the design pattern
- EP-A-1 048 452 discloses a two-layer product made of tissue material, manufactured by means of an embossing device which has exchangeable embossing elements on an embossing roller.
- the object of the present invention is therefore a device to provide, which the in the state of the Known technology does not have disadvantages.

Between two The printing device can thus pass through segments Approach immediately affect the storage unit. through it is advantageous for the device according to the invention possible to produce a multi-layer product, which a has excellent layer adhesion. Layer liability can also occur over standard machine widths of 2800, for example mm or more are generated.
- the tissue is not pre-embossed, it can be used for the layer connection required knurling unit or gluing unit are omitted, and embossing can be applied.
- the device according to the invention the knurling or replace the expensive gluing unit.
- the embossing the starting material webs can by means of the invention Device itself over the entire surface or only partially respectively.
- the application of a is particularly preferred Jewelry embossing using the embossing elements. Gluing too using a gluing device is no longer necessary.
- the pressurization required for the high pressure is preferably carried out by means of at least one at least one pressure cylinder comprehensive printing device.
- Teen can do this Segment may be assigned a printing device, are preferred however, two segments are assigned to a printing device.

- the printing devices can advantageously be moved independently of one another. With a tissue web width of about 2800 mm are a total for example 27 printing cylinders and accordingly 28 Segments arranged on a shaft.
- the wave forms together with the bearing device and the segments the embossing roller.
- the flexible embossing roll therefore adapts to the flexible smooth roller. hereby there is advantageously no damage to the Roll among themselves. Rather, it is due to pressurization an even and defined support over the segments for the entire embossing roller with the ones on them arranged embossed elements achieved.
- the printing cylinders of the Printing device can with a pressure in a range of about 3 to 10 bar, particularly preferably 4 to 6 bar his.

Tissue and / or tissue-like material can be found in many different ways Use. Such materials become, for example Toilet paper, handkerchiefs, kitchen rolls, napkins, Paper tablecloths, absorbent pads, paper towels, wipes, Cleaning cloths or the like manufactured more.
In the sense of the invention, tissue is understood to be a product which corresponds to DIN 6730. Accordingly, tissue is a product that consists entirely or predominantly of cellulose fibers with a fine and soft crepe and closed formation in the paper machine with a dry content of more than 90% is crepe, consists of one or more layers, is particularly absorbent, an area-related Mass of the individual layer of <25 g / m 2 before creping and a crepe wet elongation greater than 5%.
In the sense of the invention, tissue-like material is understood to mean a material which, in contrast to tissue material, is produced by changes in the drying process. According to DIN 6730, tissue-like material is a product predominantly made of cellulose fibers with large and wide crepe and open formation, which is dry-crepe in the paper machine and consists of one or more layers, the area-related mass of one layer before the crepe being less than 25 g / m 2 and the wet creping of a layer after creping is greater than 25%. The material can also be made from waste paper.
Made from tissue and / or tissue-like material Products have to meet different requirements. Next Properties such as strength, volume, grip and Absorbency is particularly the case with multi-layer products Liability of the layers to one another, especially prevention a shift in position, an essential property. In addition, consumers are increasingly using products demands which have good optical properties, in particular a jewelry design.
Various embossing methods are known in the prior art for achieving sufficient displacement prevention in the case of multi-layer tissue products. With the so-called steel / rubber embossing or steel / paper embossing, a steel roller (die or embossing roller) provided with embossing points is pressed against an elastic smooth roller, either made of rubber, or a steel roller coated with paper. Surface embossings with a few embossing points (approximately 6 to 20 embossing points / cm 2 ) or many embossing points (approximately 25 to 65 embossing points / cm 2 ) - called micro-embossing - are produced in this way, in particular full-surface micro-embossing. The embossing roller is driven here, whereas the elastic counter-roller runs in a friction-driven manner by contact with the embossing roller. The impact of the embossing points on the tissue material creates both elastic and plastic deformations. Due to the plastic deformations, the at least two layers of material that are embossed with one another interlock at least partially with one another. This primarily prevents the displacement of the at least two layers of the manufactured product from one another. A functioning layer adhesion is not achieved by this.
In order to achieve sufficient layer adhesion, the tissue layers previously embossed using the above method are knurled with an additional knurling mechanism. Here, an additional embossed structure is created on the pre-embossed tissue material in the form of uninterrupted patterns (for example lines or dots) arranged in the running direction via individually mounted knurled disks which work against a driven smooth roller. The knurled wheels run with friction. Here, press pressures of up to about 500 N / mm 2 act on the pre-embossed tissue product. A disadvantage of using an additional knurling mechanism, however, is that only continuous and uninterrupted patterns can be achieved with pre-embossed patterns, and the softness of the tissue product is also reduced in the area of the knurling structure applied. Another disadvantage of the use of a knurling mechanism is that only uninterrupted embossing marks can be realized in the running direction of the tissue webs. This means that embossing cannot be applied.
A particularly well-known one, especially of toilet paper The problem is that of the so-called slipped perforation. This is, for example, from a multi-ply toilet paper roll to prevent the accidental Turning over a sporadic, insufficient Tied up tissue layer around the toilet paper roll. Here the perforation line lies between the individual Toilet paper sheets no longer on top of each other. This occurs especially often at the beginning of a toilet paper roll, when the first sheet with the layer below it is glued from toilet paper sheets, is released. The Problem of slipped perforation does not occur in all Known embossing processes producing layer adhesion.
Another embossing process known in the prior art is the so-called Union coinage. With the Union coinage at least two layers of the starting material between guided at least two rollers running against each other, wherein these rollers have radially arranged projections on the surface have, the cross section of which is truncated pyramid. in this connection the projections of one roller engage in the through the Projections of the other roller formed depressions. The raw material is now between these two rollers pulled through it through the protrusions of the two Rolls are embossed over the entire surface or over part of the surface. Thereby the rolling motion of the two rollers does not touch the protruding embossing points and the opposite one Troughs are allowed to be the starting material for the Union coinage squeezed together. Through this crushing the at least two starting positions interlock with each other, but here too is the achievable layer adhesion not sufficient to cause the perforation to slip prevent. In addition, the nip of the two Rollers can be set extremely precisely, otherwise would damage the two rollers running against each other. Usually are also produced by Union stamping Tissue products afterwards with the help of a knurling machine knurled.
Multi-layer tissue products are also manufactured using the so-called point / smooth embossing process. Here, a steel roller provided with embossing elements and a smooth steel roller (so-called smooth roller) are arranged with respect to one another in such a way that a defined distance is obtained between them. This distance is achieved through complex column settings. The starting material webs are so densely compressed when they are passed through the gap between the smooth roller and the embossing roller that the layers are fixed to one another. The pressure required for this must be applied via the roller construction itself. The pressing pressures used here are in a range of approximately 230 N / mm 2 . Due to this high pressure, this process is limited to narrow material web widths, for example handkerchief lines. This requires support coupled with the embossing roller / counter-roller system. For example, this method can be used to apply format embossing in the form of longitudinal or transverse lines, as is known, for example, from handkerchiefs. The absence of support of the embossing roller relative to the smooth roller would result in the embossing roller "striking through" or "lifting off". In the first case, this leads to damage to the embossing roller ("flattening of the embossing points") by touching the embossing points on the smooth roller. In the second case there is no longer any layer adhesion (insufficient pressing of the tissue layers). Already the compensation of the load changes between the embossing and the smooth roller between the application of the longitudinal and transverse lines (especially with handkerchiefs) is difficult to get under control.
Various methods are also known in the art known, in which in addition to an embossing process, with which applied an embossing distributed over a surface partial or full-surface gluing is carried out becomes. For this purpose, one is arranged downstream of the embossing device Glueing device required in a processing line, whereby their acquisition costs increase. The glue device brings Glue onto the tissue layer using a glue transfer roller on. Part of the glue is taken up by the tissue layer, the other part is conveyed back into a trough. By high The glue is heavily contaminated by dust particles in the tissue web. As a result, the glue unit is subject to a very high level Cleaning effort. Finally, by applying Glue, even if only partially and not over the entire surface the tissue web is applied, the tissue product "board", i.e. it clearly loses its softness. Furthermore is disadvantageous that the use of glue up to a maximum of 3 layers Tissue products is limited because of the applied Glue must penetrate the individual layers for connection.
So-called embossing, i.e. Embossing training, by means of which object pattern, for example flowers or similar on Tissue products can be applied, for example generated by additional embossing / gluing units. Here, on the embossing roller in the area of the desired Jewelery embossing, for example, omitted a few stamping points, in the form of the desired design pattern. Indeed embossing alone does not ensure sufficient layer adhesion mediates, this increases rather in comparison full-surface micro-embossed products, so that gluing with the aforementioned disadvantages and / or knurling is inevitable by means of a downstream knurling mechanism. However, the good knurling is achieved by the subsequent knurling Impression of the products destroyed again, in particular if the knurling runs over the design pattern formed.
EP-A-1 048 452 offenbart ein zweilagiges Produkt aus Tissuematerial, hergestellt mittels einer Prägevorrichtung, welche auf einer Prägewalze auswechselbare Prägeelemente aufweist.EP-A-1 048 452 discloses a two-layer product made of tissue material, manufactured by means of an embossing device which has exchangeable embossing elements on an embossing roller.
The object of the present invention is therefore a device to provide, which the in the state of the Known technology does not have disadvantages.
This object is achieved by a device for Production of at least two-layer products from tissue and / or tissue-like material, comprising an embossing unit with at least two rollers, one roller a smooth roller and the other roller is an embossing roller, wherein the embossing roller has one shaft and at least one on the Shaft arranged bearing unit comprises, the embossing roller with pressure via at least one bearing unit arranged on the shaft is applied, and wherein the storage unit between two segments is arranged. The pressure is about one Printing device brought to the storage unit.
If the tissue is not pre-embossed, it can be used for the layer connection required knurling unit or gluing unit are omitted, and embossing can be applied. at already embossed according to the method mentioned at the beginning Tissue layers, the device according to the invention the knurling or replace the expensive gluing unit. The embossing the starting material webs can by means of the invention Device itself over the entire surface or only partially respectively. The application of a is particularly preferred Jewelry embossing using the embossing elements. Gluing too using a gluing device is no longer necessary.
The pressurization required for the high pressure is preferably carried out by means of at least one at least one pressure cylinder comprehensive printing device. Anyone can do this Segment may be assigned a printing device, are preferred however, two segments are assigned to a printing device. The Printing cylinders can be individually controlled or pressurized , but it is also possible that several Printing cylinders can be controlled together. The printing devices can advantageously be moved independently of one another. With a tissue web width of about 2800 mm are a total for example 27 printing cylinders and accordingly 28 Segments arranged on a shaft. The wave forms together with the bearing device and the segments the embossing roller. Through the targeted pressurization of the individual Segments across a storage row become a relative deflection the rolls against each other avoided, the flexible embossing roll therefore adapts to the flexible smooth roller. hereby there is advantageously no damage to the Roll among themselves. Rather, it is due to pressurization an even and defined support over the segments for the entire embossing roller with the ones on them arranged embossed elements achieved. The printing cylinders of the Printing device can with a pressure in a range of about 3 to 10 bar, particularly preferably 4 to 6 bar his.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the Pressure device a stop to adjust the gap between the rollers. Here, the stop can be preferred be adjustable by means of a wedge. This makes it possible the embossing roller before use over the individual printing devices targeted bias.
The bearing unit preferably comprises a ball bearing. however any other type of bearing can also be provided. Essential here is that these are radial bearings Take loads and also have axial guidance properties. In addition, the camps should still have a tour exhibit. By applying the embossing roller over the pressure cylinder acting on the bearing device is on the one hand an extremely precise column setting even during the Operation of the processing machine allows, on the other hand are possibly created by the storage unit Vibrations of the embossing roller recorded and derived. Between Printing cylinder and storage unit can still be an intermediate storage be provided.
The embossing roller is advantageously equipped with a quick-change device Mistake. This enables different customer's own embossing (especially also Logos) in a relatively simple way with a single processing line to enable. The embossing roller is advantageous if a quick-change device is provided on separately mounted pin attached.
The smooth roller and the embossing roller can be used in the invention Device have the same diameter. This is not necessary, but it can be different Diameter can be used. Preferably point the smooth roller and the embossing roller have the same rotational speed on. In addition, the smooth roller and the Embossing roller advantageously driven.
With the device according to the invention can advantageously in contrast to knurling isolated, isolated and not just continuous, uninterrupted embossing be attached.
- in einem ersten Schritt mindestens zwei Materialbahnen in einen Spalt zwischen einer Glattwalze und einer Prägewalze eingeführt werden, wobei die Prägewalze mit Druck beaufschlagt wird;
- in a first step, at least two material webs are introduced into a gap between a smooth roller and an embossing roller, the embossing roller being pressurized;
- in a second step, the material webs are connected to one another by segments arranged on the embossing roller and having embossing elements; and
- in a third step, the product obtained is removed from the device.
Advantageously, the method according to the invention is used to produce products which have excellent properties with regard to layer adhesion. In addition, it is possible to manufacture products that only have an embossing. In the method according to the invention, the connection of the individual material webs is advantageously carried out with a pressure of at least 700 N / mm 2 . The pressure to be applied is preferably at least 900 N / mm 2 , more preferably at least 1,100 N / mm 2 . Such pressing pressures can only be applied to the material web in that the embossing roller has a targeted pressurization of the individual segments via a bearing.
With the device according to the invention, at least one two-layer product; made of tissue and / or tissue-like material getting produced. This preferably has at least two-ply product other than a jewelry embossing no other Embossing, especially no micro-embossing. It's about it also advantageously not knurled and / or glued. The at least two-layer material shows excellent optical and also haptic properties the at least two layers were excellently arrested.

wird vorteilhafterweise eine gleichmäßige Lastenverteilung
über die gesamte Breite der Prägewalze 3 erreicht. The
Fig. 3 shows a
Mit der Prägeeinheit 1 wurde ein zweilagiges Tissueprodukt
hergestellt.
gut miteinander verhaftete Lagen aufwies.
Bereich. Außerdem wurde ein vorher flächengeprägtes Tissueprodukt
(Mikroprägung) mittels der Prägeeinheit 1 hergestellt.
Durch die nachgeschaltete Schmuckprägung wurden die
Einzellagen (in diesem Fall vier) miteinander fixiert. Das
Aussehen der Schmuckprägung glich derjenigen im erstgenannten
Fall.A two-layer tissue product was produced with the
The device according to the invention makes it possible for the first time adequate and high layer adhesion between layers to achieve multi-layer tissue products. In addition, this layer liability realized exclusively through embossing become. In particular, with the device according to the invention neither knurling nor gluing of the products necessary to achieve layer adhesion. Furthermore it is possible for the first time with the device according to the invention Material web widths of 2,800 mm or more embossing applied. By in the device according to the invention provided printing device, it is possible to create an everlasting constant support of the individual segments guarantee. The embossing roller can be replaced quickly and easily, so that different depending on the customer's requirement Embossing jewelry without much effort easy change of the embossing rollers can be realized.
